Marvelous location with a beautiful private beach. The hotel is very nicely designed and the rooms are spacious and clean.

There is no place to buy large amounts of water so you’re stuck with two tiny bottles per day per room or buying expensive bottles at the bar. Generally everything at the hotel is vastly overpriced (to give you an idea, we were 2 and spent close to 1,000 euros on lunches, dinners and poolside service in one week) - and I found really disappointing that after tipping every time and leaving a good amount for the cleaning staff I was asked to tip the reception desk during checkout - the suggested amount was a percentage on the 1k bill mentioned above. That really put me off.

The hotel is situated on the calm side of the island. Private beach. Amazing breakfast buffet. The tennis court is free to use, but could use a refurbishment. The pool is amazing! The beds are very comfortable. We would definitely recommend and as well come back. Would definitely recommend to get a motorbike or quat to see the island. The concierge is arranging everything very uncomplicated and quick.

If you look for a 5 star service there could be a bit of improvement. During our stay it was my fiancé's birthday. I even made birthday activity reservations with the concierge two days before. On his actual birthday I was surprised that no birthday wishes in any form were sent from the hotel. Also they messed up the complimentary shuttle service and did not handle the situation/my complaint up to 5* standard. I have been working myself in London's 5* luxury hotels and know the proper way to deal with complaints.

The views are breathtaking. The staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. The pool is perfect.

The room wasn't what we had expected for the price. The prices are outrageous and it is quite a distance from other restaurants and bars. The pool attendant holds sunloungers for "important" guest, which after paying in excess of €1800 for 4 nights really irritated us!

Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience with an extensive selection of delicious dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety were impressive, providing the perfect start to our days. Dining at the Symposium Restaurant in the evening was an absolute highlight. The ambiance is sophisticated, the menu is diverse, and the food is simply exquisite. Each meal was a culinary delight, with impeccable presentation and flavors that tantalized the taste buds. The concierge team deserves a special mention for their outstanding service. Their recommendations were spot on, enhancing our Mykonos experience immensely. A particular highlight was the Greek Night at Blue Myth, a vibrant evening of traditional music, dance, and fantastic food. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are grateful for the recommendation. Overall, Saint John Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The blend of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service makes it a standout destination. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this incredible hotel. Highly recommended!

This hotel was all I ever dreamed of, the best Greek vacation ever. The hotel was stunning, the view of the sea as soon as you entered the hotel lobby is something else. The staff was very helpful and even called one evening to check if we needed anything else, and were very attentive to everything and helpful. The room was spacious with modern design, with a great size shower and two sinks. The terrace of the room was great, and the sunsets were breathtaking from it! There's even a speaker system in the room and shower!!! The breakfast had everything and more. The HONEY ( I have no idea how and why) was the most delicious honey I tasted in my life. The pool looked good, but we didn't even use it because we like the sea better, and this hotel has its own private beach. The beach beds are good and the service is great. Also the restaurant for dinner was with view and the food was tasty 😋

The staff from the reception manager to the valets were great ! Nothing was too much and i am not the easiest 😀Breakfast very nice with anything you wanted. Pool area well tended and nice .

The beach area is not even passible for the reason being the decks are unsafe ! I hear the owner refuses to sweep the deck with alittle bleach so the slippiness is gone. While i was there a young man slipped and fell. I hear an elderly woman last week fell and broke her hip. She is now suing the hotel “Owner. If this happened to me id own your hotel !!! Really ! So wake up . How would you like if your wife’s big fat butt fell ? “

Amazing stay here at St Johns for our honeymoon. The staff were brilliant and so happy to help. The pool area is beutiful and the sunbeds are so comfy you can stay there all day. Breakfast has so much choice and tastes amazing. Cocktail prices are expensive but less expensive than bars nearby, that is just Mykonos pricing. Rooms were always clean and comfortable. Welcome drink on arrival and the transfer from the airport was really appreciated. Great location as you aren't in the really busy area but can get there easily to enjoy it. We went into town a few times and went to Paradise Beach and it was really simple to organise with the hotel's help. Lovely beach area with lots of beds available. Would highly highly recommend!

The pool was a bit too cold for us to enjoy but that's being very picky. Transfer prices are expensive if you miss the bus but you are taken in a Range Rover so it's a comfortable journey. We booked a double and were put in a twin room and when we asked if we could switch this there was some hesitation but this was soon rectified. I was asked to provide proof of our marriage certificate as the hotel said they would do something small for our honeymoon but even though I sent it nothing happened. Which is okay as we aren't expecting a treat but I would say if you are staying on your honeymoon don't expect any treats. However the hotel is nice enough to enjoy on honeymoon anyway!

The room was fabulous and the full sea view from the balcony was amazing. The restaurant had quality food and the slippers and robe were useful as were the beach bags. The loungers at the beach were limited and at 8am there are towels left on almost all chairs with limited availability. The waves hit the first row of loungers making them less than desirable to sit in. The pool was enjoyable and a good size so it was not crowded. Staff was helpful. We took the reservation for the Blue Myth dinner and enjoyed the experience.

The shuttle bus only goes to Town starting at 6:30pm and is limited to 16 persons so you must sign up early in the morning. The shuttle bus goes into Town every half hour but will not bring you back until 9:30pm at the earliest. There is a bus station when you leave the hotel and walk left and make a right about a 3 minute walk so we resorted to this to get into Town in the afternoon and back earlier but the concierge did not make this information available to us.
