The room is just amazing! It is in an old building and designed in a vintage style, allowing you to feel the city's atmosphere perfectly. Its large area and high ceilings make living very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day, and the cleaning was done very well. Besides basic things, the room also contains many essential pieces of equipment for cosy vacation stays, like a spacious fridge, a multifunctional air conditioner, an iron and an ironing board, a clothes rack dryer, additional pillows, etc. The staff is amiable, courteous and ready to satisfy any requests. There is also a good wifi connection. Breakfast is provided by the cafe in the same building - it is delicious and complete, but the selection of dishes is small, so it can get boring during an extended stay. At the same time, breakfast is available from 8.00 to 14.00, which is very comfortable if you like to spend time at the beach in the morning.

The hotel has almost no disadvantages except one - it is located in the centre of Nafplio's nightlife, so the area is very noisy. It was acceptable for us, but if you like to go to bed early and not interrupt your sleep, you should look for other options. Also, it would not hurt to update the plumbing in the room and destroy a mold in the shower

Our stay in Nafplio was just wonderfull. The apartment was pretty big, and they were cleaninig it every day. Location is also great since it's in the city center and if you are travelling by car there is a large parking nearby. Also the tavern below the apartment where we had breakfast is really great and you get a discount on breakfast if you are staying in this apartment. I especially want to praise Evia, our host, who is truly phenomenal. She waited for us upon arrival, instructed us in all the details we need to know. On the second day, we had a problem with our car, and Evia was ultra responsive and helped us, found the mechanic so that the problem was solved in no time. Definitely deserves a raise! :)

The suites were located in a renovated older building right in the heart of beautiful Nafplio. The room we stayed in was very spacious with an old-type bed that was very, very comfortable to sleep in. WiFi worked great as did the air conditioning. Maids were thorough every day. It was really great to stay in a place that had real character instead of a new built structure, especially since there is so much history and charm in Nafplio. Very charming indeed. And the host was really kind and helpful. The stairs up to the suite were unusual - a real trip in fact. Recommended. (The people of Nafplio are so nice.)

The suite overlooked what amounts to the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Nafplio and is adjacent to a bar that stays open pretty late and plays music sometimes a bit too loudly. But if you bring your sleep mask and ear plugs, you'll be fine. And it's worth it to stay at the Pension.

Our host Evie was wonderful. Provided some bottled water upon arrival as tap water in Nafplio is not safe to drink. Kettle with coffee and teas in the room, and our room was cleaned and made daily (without needing to request services). Great location close to the port for free parking.

My husband is 6’2 and he was too long for the bed so he couldn’t sleep with his legs stretched out. LOTS of stairs to the top where we stayed. LOTS. Pack lightly.

it was in great location, right in the center of old town. Staff - very very helpful. Breakfast cafe served good, very filling food, which kept our tummies happy till early dinner (maybe because we slept in late :-). Even though streets are traffic free, the cafes and bars stay open late so it was a bit noisy at night, but that has nothing to do with hotel - just for future guests knowledge, so no one gets surprised. Myself and my partner and our two children enjoyed the stay very much.

one thing that bothered us was the shower - shower hear wasn’t fixed and the shower curtain was absent so taking the shower was a bit challenging. Kids struggled, but it wasn’t the end of the world.

Great location right in the heart of old town, good sized rooms with kitchenette if you needed to make breakfast etc. Lady was very nice and have pointers about our stay. Note no lift at property only stairs

Shower was awkward water coming out everywhere, Needs a proper shower head and maybe a curtain, as the floor and mat always got wet. Odd smell in bathroom also Lots of street noise from below cafe / bar

The room was lovely, clean and had a balcony (with table/chairs) that overlooked the shops below. One could not tell that there was street traffic below as the sound was totally blocked by the excellent noise-blocking windows. The unit is very centrally located in the old town - with tons of shops and restaurants all around. it is a brief 5 minute was to the seawall where more restaurants and great water views are available. The internet was good and there was a very small dedicated workspace for work (ok for quick emails checks, but not for extended work periods). We enjoyed the old building as it was so well refurnished, but the steps are very steep, narrow and uneven and if you have mobility issues, you should ask for a ground floor unit (if they have one). The breakfast provided the following morning was ok.

Parking was not convenient - in the height of summer, it will be an issue. We were there in the winter season, and were lucky to find a spot 3 blocks away.

Great location, walking distance to multiple beaches, dock and sites. We loved being in the heart of the old city. The balcony was great for people watching. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Walking around the old city and all of the nearby restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Since you are in old Town you will need to park at the port and walk a short distance to the pension.

We enjoyed pretty much our stay in Althaia. The decoration of the room and the views were really exceptional and the location ideal. We would definitely stay again and recommend it.

One should consider that the pension lies next to a very boisterous street. We were provided with earplugs which were necessary for us to sleep. This didn't bother us so much but one should bear this in mind.
