Amazing location - steps away from the beach and 5 minute walk to the downtown / port. Balcony was also lovely and overlooking the beach. We enjoyed having our breakfast there in the morning (there was a grocery store very close by). We were also able to do a load of laundry that was ready the same day for just 12€. Overall, a great experience.

Nothing we did not like - the hotel is a smaller boutique hotel, so would caution that front desk closes from 9pm to 9am. Bathroom was on the smaller side but that did not bother us at all. Room key is also a physical key so need to be cautious not to lose. Overall, really well run boutique hotel!

Fantastic location, about 10 steps from the beach. Love the family managed boutique hotel - Maria and George are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are serviced daily, very clean with all the expected ammenities. We arranged the transfers via them as their nephew runs a tour / transfer company (20 euros one way from port to hotel) . We upgraded to the Seaview room and so glad we did - enjoying the views on the balcony! Maria recommended restaurants as well. We were able to do laundry 13 euros for a bag (equates to a basket load - reasonable price as we just pick up the bag from reception) - same price as what we paid in Mykonos and less than Santorini.

The hotel owner, Maria, was very helpful, kind and informative. The hotel was steps away from St. George Beach and far enough away from Naxos center (but walkable!). We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had hoped for a beautiful sea view room. While we could see the ocean and beach, it was partially blocked by the power lines on the poles and the umbrellas on the beach. There are other rooms with better views. I would just urge you to ask for one of these other rooms. The bathroom is quite small with the glass shower partition close to the toilet seat.

- The lady on reception was so kind and nice, she even leant us some toothpaste when we realised we had forgotten our's. - We were able to check in early as the previous guests has checked out early which we really appreciated. - Room was very clean, bed was comfy, Wifi and aircon worked well. - Great location, right next to a nice beach (although it does get pretty busy, you need to come earlier in the day to get a spot during summer). About 15 min walk to the Temple of Apollo (port area) with lots of restaurants along the way. - Loved that we could refill our water bottle in Reception - really appreciated this eco-friendly initiative. - Quiet at night, done a cute side street.

- It would be great if the light in the courtyard could be turned off at night as it shined into our bedroom (an eye mask solved this though). - It would be good if there were refillable soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc in the bathroom to be more eco-friendly. - These were minor things and overall we had a great stay and would stay there again if were staying near the port.

Knew room would be small, that was OK, but bathroom was very small and no curtain for shower seemed odd. Parking a challenge all over Greece, suggest site offer location name of parking to assist customers as i spent an hour and circled town 3 times trying to find the lot. Use the restaurant name next to parking to find and short walk along beach to hotel. Did this for entire stay and it worked fine. The free parking worked great from there.

The St George hotel is small and the owner is there every day to take care of the property and her guests. She has chosen a beautiful, very individual interior with a lot of personal touches to it. The rooms are comfy and offer fridge, kettle, hairdryer, air con, compline water and complimentary coffee/tea/jam/biscuits. Upon arrival guests are offered a carafe of wine and any kind of help. The location right by the beach is perfect. At ghe same time there are plenty of restaurants and mini markets in the immediate neighbourhood and it’s a 8min walk to the port and main tourist street and the old town. I felt like as if I was staying at a friend’s house. The host is very friendly and amicable — she gave me home made snacks for my onward travels. I couldn’t have felt more welcome!

This was one of my favorite Hotels I've ever stayed at in Greece, and we've visited Greece 4 times in the last 2 years. It's a very simple hotel, with a modern touch. The manager/owner was super welcoming, was wellmanered, gave us a warm welcome, and offered us a bottle of housewine and some cookies. The best part of the hotel is the location. We had a room at the ground level, and right outside our room, we had a view onto the ocean. The beach was only 20-30 Meters away from our room. Right across the room, was a cosy beach bar, where you could enjoy a last drink before going to bed, and listening to the sound of the waves. Walking to the city center, takes like 7-10 Minutes. The area is very quiet at night, and during the day.

Nothing to complain. Everything was great.

Saint George Hotel was the perfect stay when on Naxos. The beach is directly outside the property, the balcony views of the ocean were spectacular. George gave us a bottle of wine from their family as a welcome gift. We loved the location. Everyone on the island seems to know them, as the hotel was one of the originals. They accommodated all of our requests, and even gave us a bag of chocolate breads when we left. The restaurants at the beach were superb and you can rent the day beds from one of them for only $25 euro for two beds and a table. The ocean and beach at this beach were spectacular, calm, warm, and beautiful.

Our AC worked great, our friends AC they struggled with so they were uncomfortable at night. The bathrooms are a little tiny, but nothing that we could really complain about.

Wow, this is perhaps the best located hotel I've ever stayed at. Literally a dream to walk to the beach in SECONDS. And great restaurants and cafes all around!

While perfectly adequate, our room could have been more comfortable. I didn't love the pillow situation, and there were a lot of random nick-nacks occupying the little shelf space we had for our items. But really nothing major to complain about, it's such a great hotel.

We loved the proximity to the beach - literally 10 meters from the front of the hotel. Also very close to shops and Chora town.

Our room was significantly smaller than our friend's room, but we paid approximately the same price (maybe 50 euros less). We booked fairly last minute to be close to our friends and it was probably the last room available, so be aware that you might receive the worst room if this is the case. However since our friends had the room next door we were able to share their balcony and have fun. The bed was very small and very very firm - the hotel provided a topper on request which helped somewhat.
