Wonderful stay! I've enjoyed everything. The room is modern and renovated, with fresh look and atmosphere. The bed is big and very confortable, pillows as well. They providing soft towels, bathrobes, slippers, doing everyday cleaning - services usually you expecting from the hotel, but they do it for rooms/apartments too. They providing free parking as well. Nice, friendly and very welcoming host. Very central location. Also they have a nice, cozy and quiet garden, where you can sit and relax. I'll stay here again when I came back to Sfakia

If you are traveling to Crete, look no further than Giannis and Nikki. The bed is beyond comfortable, the room is immaculately clean, the peaceful garden to unwind and feel that Greek chill, the pebble throw away from all the restaurants, a supermarket next door, and a couple which is extremely welcoming. They made it feel like you should move to Crete and call it your home. The garden they have created has so much love, and it shows. It beats any 5-star hotel! This place offers a unique and authentic experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the location is perfect—close to beautiful beaches and local attractions.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about this property. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. If we had to mention something, it would be that our stay was too short! We didn’t want to leave and would have loved to spend more time enjoying the hospitality and beautiful surroundings!

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we had to come back. These are great rooms right in the centre of Chora Sfakion and right next to a lovely bakery for breakfasts. Giannis and Niki are wonderful hosts who make you feel really welcome. They have a lovely garden at the back where you can sit in peace in the shade and if you go out the front door you're 30 seconds from the harbour and the shops and restaurants. No distance from the ferry port. Such a beautiful place to stay - you never want to leave.

Everything was 100% perfect

Had done proper review before but seems to have got lost so will do a quick one again.Rooms were fabulous, very big, all modern, recently refurbished. nice bowl and cutlery left so you can make own food. these were cleaned for you which was a nice touch.the rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard.Location was great, maybe 50 metres to the water. nice restaurants on front. ended up getting the boat to Loutro on all 3 of my days. These small boats were very enjoyable and great value.The owners are very friendly and helpful. I spent a lot of my time hiking, there is a booklet in the shops with maps of walking routes. These hikes were probably the highlight of my holiday, especially the one up to Anopolis. the walk to sweet water beach was safe.

Sofia's lovely rooms is a very nice structure, recently renovated, with a lovely secluded garden, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a nice book. Our room was full of light, clean, spacious and could accommodate our family of 4 perfectly. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, nice and with complimentary products. We used to have our morning coffee (complimentary) on the balcony, enjoying the sea view. It was a perfect start of the day. Niki and Giannis, with their kindness and care for the details, made us feel at home. We'll definitely come back next time we'll visit Crete.

To make everything even more perfect, an additional shelf in the bathroom can be useful. But those are just small adjustments. 😉

I stayed with my family in the terrace apartment with a beautiful sea view. The terrace is very large and equipped for outdoor dining and it was so nice that we almost always had dinner there. The apartment is cleaned every day and water and juices are brought in every day. The host is very welcoming and hospitable, upon arrival he gave us various gifts such as wine, water, fruit juices, jams and butter for breakfast and when we left he gave us some local products as well as a postcard greetings signed by them which I really appreciated. I had a great time at Sofia's lovely room and the hosts make their guests feel pampered

There is no washing machine. Two bathrooms are indicated but in reality they are not two complete bathrooms, in one there is a sink and shower, in the other there is a toilet and sink

Situated on a cozy, quiet street, away from the buzz of the main restaurant street, but still very close. We had a room with a balcony above the beautiful green garden where we had all our breakfasts.

We went there in low-season (October), so there were plenty of parking space. However, I suspect that parking might be an issue in high-season. The town is very small so there is limited room for cars. The two beaches in the town are very small. However, it's easy to reach great beaches by car (5 min drive) or boat (15 minutes trip).

We had a wonderful stay here and would love to return. The rooms are spacious, clean, well kept and have everything you could possibly need. The fridge was kept stocked with bottles of water and coffee, tea and snacks were provided free of charge. Next door to a great bakery too. Giannis and Niki were perfect hosts - kind and helpful and they made us feel so at home that they were the highlight of our stay. The location is brilliant and it's only a minute or two walk to all the shops and tavernas and barely any longer to reach the ferry boats. There's also a lovely well tended private garden at the back.

Lovely room with a balcony, a warm welcome, lovely hosts. Sofia’s Lovely rooms is in a quiet lane just up from the beach front with its tavernas and restaurants. Hora Skafion is a great base from which to explore this beautiful stretch of the south coast of Crete. A very beautiful, friendly place that has retained the atmosphere of a living, working Cretian town.

This is really the best place to stay in Sfakia / akn Chora Sfakion. The room is very tidy, and equipped with everything you need. Your host answeres every question (and sorry for me being so, I had plenty) within minutes. In the fridge you even find unexpected stuff for a small breakfast incl. juice, water, butter, jam and Zwieback. We had a balkony and the place has a garden which is unique in Southern Crete. We had taxi transfer from Chania airport arranged by our host Nikki. And last to mention: eat dinner at Nikos Tavern. Very best restaurant in town and beyond.
