Perfect location 5min drive out of the crowded center on the marina, wonderful rooftop bar, fabulous breakfast, many thanks to Nikos from reception making our stay perfect, incredible politeness and professional and smiling staff. Excellent rooms, free coffee machine on reception, wonderful view of the marina... Everything 10/10

I can’t say enough words how happy we were; from the minute we stepped into the hotel we felt relaxed. Everyone was extremely helpful especially Demetri who greeted us and offered us something to drink and suggestions on a nearby beach bar. The room had central air (Athens was 110F the day we arrived) and the most spectacular view of the sail boats and yachts just outside our window. We ate breakfast and dinner there on their rooftop restaurant. It was an experience from the views of the Acropolis to the sailboats passing and their chefs were amazing!!! The bed was extremely comfortable too !!! Also they had private parking which in Athens is a gift ! We only stayed for 1 night but we look forward to returning some day soon for longer. Thank you Hotel Alex for making our experience so special and welcoming.

Nothing negative about property. The toothbrushes and toothpaste are a nice touch but I would not use toothbrush because one use and it is throw away- would recommend to save those for when a guest asks for it.

The hotel was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. Our sea view room had great views over the marina and towards the city. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower excellent, with lovely big towels. Also bath robes and slippers were provided. The staff team was excellent and went the extra mile; nothing was any trouble for them. The trolley bus stop was very convenient for getting around and, for football fans, the Olympiakos stadium is within walking distance.

The only negative was the road immediately outside the hotel was very busy and it was noisy until after midnight - mainly car exhausts and loud in car stereo systems.

The facility is very nice, lack a bit of space for setting up your computer in your room but overall exceeded my expectations, staff friendliness, willingness to help. the food also exceeded my expectations and compliments to the chef and the waiters - all the staff :). The willingness to help accommodate met for the late checkout by moving my stuff for me to another room - thank you so much - that shows your customer service commitment

My room's toilet roll holder was loose and the shower head needed some proper cleaning or even replacement, some of the little rubbers is missing causing some unnecessary spray all over the floor.

Everyone from the front desk to the rooftop restaurant were the nicest and most accommodating people. They were all extremely friendly and happy to assist with anything. They even reserved our island hopping tour for us, and got us to-go breakfast bags on the morning of our island tour. Our bed was really comfortable, and walk-in shower was spacious.

For the price you paid, I expected to be in a better location. The immediate surrounding area was a bit run down, and your view out towards the ocean wasn't exactly as advertised in these photos (just don't look down). On the upside, it wasn't in the busiest area, so we got to actually catch up on our sleep!

What can I say only everything! From the wonderful warm reception .. Nivos was so welcoming ,we arrived early as we had just disembarked from our cruise ,was this a problem no ,we were offered refreshments and told that they would try and get us into our room early if possible.. we decided to take a walk around the beautiful marina only a seven minute walk away. When we returned the wonderful Manager Dimitris came over to us and apologised for the wait ( which actually this was on us as check in is stated as 3pm ) he actually upgraded us to a beautiful suite and we were in our suite for 1.30 pm. We then decided to have lunch ,what can I say only amazing ,the setting is breathtaking, a beautiful rooftop restaurant with amazing views across the bay to Athens. The food was delicious, would really recommend the strawberry salad ! We also had dinner and breakfast over our stay ,and everything was excellent, produce so fresh ,can't fault anything, the staff in the restaurant were so professional, friendly and polite , thank you Popi and Alexandra. I give credit to Dimitris he so obviously cares about the guests staying in his hotel and this is reflected in all his wonderful staff . We hope to have the pleasure to visit The Alex again and would highly recommend a stay here!!

There was nothing not to like .

As soon as we got to the hotel, the staff greeted us right away in front of their hotel door with all smiles and a glass of water. The hotel is clean. Although there is no complimentary breakfast, they provide coffee and tea at the lobby and they have a restaurant located at the roof top with an amazing view of the gulf. Their staff was so friendly, accommodating and very professional. Our check in was quick and immediately they assisted to carry our luggage to our rooms. Since i booked multiple rooms, our room was upgraded which was really nice for them to do. Every time we come back after doing some activities outside, we are again greeted with a smile which makes it very welcoming. Even when we were leaving, the way they took good care of their costumers were consistent. My who family and I are very satisfied with our overall stay at this hotel.

We liked everything about it.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were greeted in the street as our taxi pulled up and our luggage was carried out - we didn't have to lift a finger. Special must be given to Dimitri who allowed us to leave our bags after check out and who organised a taxi for us to the port. The position on the top of the hill is probably the best in all of Pireas. The roof top bar and restaurant is a delight and the breakfast is very good indeed. We only stayed one night in between transfer from airport to catch the ferry the next morning and it served our purposes perfectly. One lovely touch was how they supplied my partner who is vegan with soya milk. We had written this months earlier when we made the booking and it was good to know that this had been noted and acted upon. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is new, it is in the great location, and staff is absolutely incredible. They pay attention to every detail. Room is always cleaned when you have breakfast, regardless of when you choose to have it, so you never see a cleaning lady. Staff is extremely polite, accomodating every request we had with kindness. Rooftop is amazing, we not only enjoyed relaxing there, but also teleworking. Great atmosphere, feeling very welcomed. THANK YOU.

Setting was stunning and close to cruise port. Staff were second to none. They greeted us on the steps whenever they saw our taxi arrive. They couldn't do enough for us. The rooftop restaurant is absolutely beautiful and food is first class. If I ever return to Athens I will most definitely stay at The Alex. Staying at The Alex the night before our cruise and the night after our cruise...was quite simply the icing on the cake. Warmest thanks to all of the staff. Dee
