Very (family) friendly staff, good food and awesome value for money. The area itself is quite touristy and the beach is crowded but beautiful. A good place to enjoy some downtime as a couple or some family quality time.

The beach bars (not owned by this hotel) still give out plastic cups, which finally end up on the beach. In some other top Hotels we have seen more action too be sustainable (like beeing plastic free, educational programs regarding maritime life, organised beach clean ups). For sure not everyone wants to have that in their holiday, but at this point in time....

Lovely rooms and good facilities at the hotel. Nice ambiance in the outdoor poolarea and restaurant/bar. Superb and friendly staff, discrete thorough cleaning of room. We were never disturbed. Excellent access to the beach and extra pool area.

There is not much to do close to the hotel. We were there at the end of the season so a few establishments were closed and we had to go into town (5kms) for a nice meal. The hotel has good food though but we like to explore a bit. A little bit strange with entrance through the bath room. The outdoor pool is not heated so it will be fresh early and late in the season. Not sure how well the air con will cope at higher outdoor temperatures than we had.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel team made us feel right at home. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips on local attractions and ensuring we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, with every little detail thought out for maximum comfort. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious and with plenty of options to satisfy everyone. The property is gorgeous and the beach is very nice. The rooms are exactly as pictured and the included breakfast is very good.

Wasn’t very happy about the shower drain, water would somewhat overflow to the other parts of the bathroom. Asked to get it fixed however it didn’t do much. Also it would be great if their outdoor pools had the availability to be heated during the colder months because the water is very cold.

The place is spotless, and it's a great location to the beach and a 40 min walk to the near town centre of Rhethmno. it was still quite hot in October and the staff was always very helpful. We got the room with the private pool and it was absolutely delightful to be there. More expensive but totally worth it.

The breakfast was very good but the hot counter lights weren't strong enough to keep some of it hot.

Everything was perfect about our stay at Atermono. I would recommend this place to everyone. The hotel itself and the location are perfect. But what really made the stay perfect are the people who work there. We have never been to a hotel with such friendly staff. They really made our stay wonderful because they were so genuinely kind. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!

I really can’t find anything bad about this place

(1) the location. just in front of the seaside in a very calm area but walking distance from restaurants and shops. (2) the cleanliness, bright and large rooms and fine furniture (3) the kindness of the staff

(1) the indoor pool is not really heated. Overall all the pools are quite cold (indoor and outdoor). We were staying at the end of May and still we could not enjoy the pool. they should be heated (at least the indoor one) (2) the restaurant is very / too expensive (2x what you could get into a local place)

Breakfast was excellent, lady behind the counter makes fresh products all the time. At the reception the ladies were really nice. Personnel, specially at the pool bar/restaurant made our day, one place where i would like to go again. The level of their restaurant is one of the best we had during our three week stay in the island, just marvelous cuisine.

Honestly, we had the best holiday ever at the Atermono Boutique Resort & Spa! The location of the hotel was very nice. It was not on the busy street but very near to all the shops and restaurants in the village, easy to get there by foot. Rethymnon town was about a 10 minute drive and also a must visit for nice restaurants, shops, drinks and party. As soon as you enter the hotel you smell the very pleasant "smell of the house". We got a warm and interested welcome at the reception by lovely Vallas and received a fresh welcome drink. You could ask Valia anything and she would help you right away! The room was perfect! We had the room with the pool with very nice lights (thank you Kostas ;p) The big pool was nice to cool down and had comfortable sunbeds. The best part of the pool was the poolbar with the best poolbar crew. Evgenia, Kostas, Mary and Johanna are the best! Evgenia gave us the best recommendations for good restaurants and places to go. We really liked Prima Plora restaurant, Paraplous restaurant and Lemonokipos restaurant. Also the south is a must visit, we went to Damnoni beach and liked it a lot, very different from the north. The food at the cocoon bar at the pool was also again very nice. Everyday you could switch your beach towels for fresh ones. The breakfast was outstanding, they had anything from sweet to savory and you could also ask the cook for a fresh omelette. The cook Dimitra always had a smile on her face, every morning she was in a good mood. Thank you again Atermono team, but espacialy Valia, Evgenia, Kostas, Mary and Johanna for the lovely stay and the sweet words, we miss you already! Love, Erik and Chelsea (Still not engaged haha)

Where to start ... fantastic location you are in the center of the world, in an hour's drive you can reach the whole island. As soon as you arrive at the Resort you are better than at home, beautiful, fragrant, on a human scale, you have no stress, there is free underground parking, three swimming pools and if you want you can opt for one in your room. You also have your own beach and bar and finally the breakfast which deserves a separate review. Very fresh, delicious and varied products, we were pampered by all the staff but I cannot fail to mention, Giovanna and Demetra who were waiting for us to give us peaceful and happy moments. I also wanted to thank our favorite barista who made us perfect short coffees. I do not deny that in greeting them I was moved. We will come soon, because Crete and the Cretans remain in your heart. A few words thanks for everything.
