We recently stayed at Palmbeach Hotel for a few days, and we are very satisfied with our experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we felt welcomed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned every day, which added to our comfort. The hotel's location is perfect—right next to the beach, which is fantastic, and just a few minutes' walk from the city center. There is also a restaurant in the hotel with affordable prices and delicious food. Although the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was more than enough to start the day. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel! :)

Fantastic location, warm and friendly people. Rooms facing the beach have a balcony and you can watch the sunset. Very good sized rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and full size fridge.

Nothing - It was perfect for us.

We had an excellent stay at Palm Beach. The breakfast was delicious, the sea view of our room very nice, and the personal (Anastasia and her colleague) very welcoming, we felt the greek hospitality every day thanks to them ! Their reactivity for each question, their smiling faces, all of that did our stay very pleasant. We recommend this hotel also for the cleanliness and not least, his position close to everything : tavernas, old city, (15 min by foot), shops, supermarket, the beach just in front.

It's a bit difficult to find a parking place for your car. With a bit of luck and patience, you could find a place even close to the hotel. It depends of the daytime...

Location, next to the beach (1 minute walk towards center there is a bar with free sun-beds and umbrellas), 10 mins walk from city center, next to lot of bars, pharmacies, stores, restaurants. Good breakfast. We have got orange juice at check in, we were allowed to prolong check out a bit, slippers available too. You can get free beach towels if you go to beach across hotel (4€ set of sun-beds and umbrella). Room with lot of space. Windows are moved down so you dry your towels. Nice and pleasant staff. Restaurant as a part of hotel.

Room not cleaned for two consecutive mornings. What was done by cleaning staff is: change of floor towel, setting up of bed. What was not done is: change of all towels, adding of new shampoos, bathroom with floor not cleaned, furniture in room with floor not cleaned. Staff was contacted and they provided new towels and shampoos on the second day.

This hotel is awesome! It's right on the beach in Rethymno, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good, and you can get a beach towel for 1.5 euros. In front of the hotel, there are a bunch of sunbeds and umbrellas that you can get for free if you buy drinks (usually spending 10 euros would be enough). I would definitely come back to this hotel!

Very pleasant staff at the hotel. The room are nice and comfy and there is room cleaning service every day, with new towels when necessary. There are also beach towels at the reception, which you can replace every day. The breakfas is nice, with fresh eggs made at your request. Room has a small kitchen with pots, pans and utensils.

Beds are not most comfortable.

Good location near the beach and close to the old city and the marina. The room was spacious and clean. A nice bonus was the fact that the hotel provided towels for the beach which you could pick up every day before going to the beach.

During the evening there were situations when you needed to wait some time before the hot water was really hot.

We booked the Terrace on the 5th floor and it was superb. Beautiful views and the terrace had sun all day with a shaded area if required. The food was delicious, great location and the staff are second to none in my opinion. I would highly recommend.

I honestly can’t think of anything.

Stayed in Rethymno 4 times now. Worked out the best position for access to nice part of beach and town. Perfect position and will return to this hotel/apartments again. Free safe (as it should be) and sunbeams on beach reduced price (already cheaper than any other area we've stayed). Beach towels supplied, helpful, saves on bagged weight etc...

Take your own hair dryer if you need one - breathing on your hair would work better than theres. Air-con worked well, although did make occasional noises (may be due to being on top floor?) Here as with most hotels in the area only offered eggs/bacon, not full English breakfast (continental - is not breakfast!!!) which is usually one of my personal indulgences when away.

The room was very nice (although not with sea view, but with garden view, it was very big, quiet, clean and nicely furnished). Delicious food, both at breakfast and at lunch/ dinner. Great hosts at the hotel and restaurant - lovely welcome although at 3 AM. Nice to have discounted price for the beach chairs as hotel guests. Great flexibility of the hosts for the reservation details was very helpful for us in the context of the pandemic.
