The hotel had a fantastic location just where all the restaurants start but a few meters away to be quiet. The staff were amazing! They organised us transfer and picked us up from the gates! They even organised a golf cart to my parents who stayed away without needing to ask! This is what is called going above and beyond! Fantastic stay. We loved the breakfast that was varied and different every day. We have also made feel so welcome. The room was very clean. We read some negative reviews about the room where we stayed that there were too many steps but this wasn’t bad at all even if we stayed with a baby and had to carry her up and down for breakfast. The pictures were representative of the room!

We loved this hotel and its setting is the heart of the old town (lots to discover). It had a real sense of history. Our apartment, Places in Suspension, was so comfortable and well equipped, with a beautiful sunshine terrace (great views) and another offering partial shade, that on several days we didn’t venture any further. It was the definition of relaxation. We were delighted to meet Nikos, and hear about his passion for the restoration of the town. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We were also grateful to Marios for his help when we had to rearrange our original booking.

In Camera is a wonderful, characterful boutique hotel with masses of charm. Exactly what we hoped for. It has lots of stylish touches and artefacts specific to the photography interests of its owner. Each room/suite is unique. We had a small garden sitting are which was welcome after a day of exploring the city in the heat!

Marios the hotel manager was attentive and charming. He is full of knowledge about places of interest and nothing is too much trouble. Vasso provides breakfast each morning. She is a wonder! She takes pride in the food she cooks, bakes and presents beautifully. She is full of charm and personality. We loved our breakfast time! George is the other key member of this team. He is a very thoughtful and attentive character adding to the charm of this glorious place. We will return on our next trip to Rhodes and cannot recommend this place more highly. Also, the location is great! It’s in a charming little square with a handful of lovely restaurants and bars but it’s not a busy or touristic place, it’s subtle and a perfect little haven. Just lovely!

The staff was super friendly! Especially Vaso - we loved Vaso! Breakfast was delicious! The best ever. The Forms of Light apartment had a fantastic view of the city and the jacuzzi was a nice touch. The bed was super comfortable. Lots of pillows! Plenty of clean towels and for the jacuzzi. We love that it was in the ancient walled city - close to everything! Great location.

The only thing our daughters mentioned was that you could hear the music from the restaurant in their room at night (Apollos).

The history of Rhodes Island is one everybody should learn and experience at least once in their lives. And what a better place to begin by staying at a hotel inside the island’s famous Medieval City. “In Camera” is built utilizing the existing structure of the Medieval City as per the laws set by the World Heritage Site program by UNESCO, thus respecting both the imminent change of the future and the solid, unparalleled foundation of the past. The staff are great representatives of this philosophy, as they show their professionalism and hospitality through their work. Marios and George arranged guided tours in and out of the Medieval City for us, which are -suffice to say- definite recommendations for anyone interested in visiting Rhodes, the housekeepers ensured the Medieval Villa we stayed in was thoroughly cleaned, and Vaso (the cook) always greeted us with a big smile and a bigger selection of delicious goodies. For those reasons, I wish all the staff, as well as the owners, a warm thanks and may your hotel become part of modern Rhodes’ history!

Staff is very friendly, lady in the kitchen was very kind and really trying to make everyone happy. Really good combination of history and modern design in the rooms, cleaning service every day and they bring us to the ferry even they don’t have to do it. They also helped us to find a cheap rental car. Coffee machine and water boiler are really clean.

In Camera was in a perfect location in the old town. Lovely restaurants, bars, shop within a few minutes walk. Our room is decorated with unique art photos and cameras. It was wonderful, characterful hotel. All staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room has a window only that face to the main entrance in small alley. We must close the curtain all day without sight of outside.

We stayed in "Views of Rhodes" room for 4 nights in October - dropped at one of the gates - by taxi driver - into Rhodes Town and then picked up by the hotel - interesting ride through the narrow streets - warm reception - room met our needs and was very comfortable with own secure entrance - location could not have been better - at least 4 very good restaurants a very short walk away - again a short walk into Rhodes Town and all the sites and shops but far enough away that we were weren't overrun with day visitors from the cruise ships and other resorts on the Island - very quiet at night - breakfast very good - had some of the best cooked omelettes with various fillings - breakfast taken outside with views over the rooftops - again on departure we had an easy 5 -10 minute walk downhill with wheeled bags to the taxi rank just beyond another of the gates overlooking the Cruise Ship harbour - we would return

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The bed was soooo comfy it had a mattress topper and it’s just things like that which made it such a comfortable stay. Attention to detail was spot on. Location was amazing if you are wanting to stay in Rhodes town this is the place to stay. Friendly staff amazing breakfast what a relaxing start to our honeymoon. Loved having a private hot tub it was just so nice.

Came here to spend a night in Rhodes town since we already stay in a villa at the west part. The place is so beatiful and the location perfect enough to help explore the old city of Rhodes. Marios gave us a warm welcome and George help us book a massage in the evening after along tiring walking day. Will come back next year with the rest of the family for sure. Bye my friends!
