Quaint little hotel, comfortable, great location in the old town, but the absolute highlight was all about the staff and in particular Epappadee (excuse the non Greek spelling). This young lady, picked us up at the very hot and busy ferry terminal, checked us in, served us a welcome drink, saw us to our room, gave us superb beach and restaurant suggestions. All with a smile and politeness which was totally charming, whilst working 8am to Midnight. Always happy and engaging, nothing was too much trouble. A rare quality which is very special in our extensive travels. Best of luck in your career Epappadee 🙏

The location was excellent, staff really friendly and the room had everything - toiletries included ear plugs, shaver, sewing kit, toothpaste, toothbrush, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, loafer which was stocked up everyday. They even provided beach towels!

We had a suite but this did not have any outside terrace or balcony. The outside space for the suites was on the roof terrace which was very basic with just a few sun beds on. No table and chairs or sunshade so unfortunately was not used at all by us or any other guests whilst we were there. Would have been lovely if it had a bar and seating.

The staff were great, very nice and helpful. They helped us rent a car and also drove us to the taxi rank so we could get a fixed priced ride to the airport (27€ for a taxi from/to the airport). The room was clean, shower was good, breakfast was good. Nice entrance to the room with a bench and table where you can sit outside when the weather is good. Location is super central in oldtown with walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

The room is very small. The door to the bathroom didn’t close all the way which was uncomfortable. There is almost no space to put stuff near the sink. The A/C was set on heating and they couldn’t change it without a technician that will set it only on cooling. Our stay was on some hot and sunny days so we had to keep the window open if we wanted to be in the room during the day and also on some nights.

We stayed in a Deluxe double room, and it was small, very clean and with everything we needed. Airccon wasn’t quite working properly but it’s off season and wasn’t too hot. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were amazing (the Greek yogurt and honey is unlike anything I’ve had before) and we had a great dinner there too. Location is in the centre of the old town but on a quieter street. Nothing is more than a few minutes walk. We slept really well in the room, very comfortable and quiet. The star of the show is their wine cellar. We did a wine tasting and had different wines in the bar, all very good and the staff very knowledgeable (the waiter at dinner suggested my wife choose a different wine based on her choice of food, to balance acidity!). Great service.

We had a large room with a good sized bathroom. The wooden ceiling is impressive and it is light with large windows. The bed is big and comfortable. The shower was good, indeed a shower for two people! There are smaller rooms which have an outside sitting area, ours did not. You enter the hotel through an underwhelming narrow "wine bar" entrance, but there is indeed a multi room hotel above. Staff are excellent, as is the breakfast. We were there off season, but were blessed with some mild nights so we could sit outside with a glass of wine. The position is excellent, right in the centre of the wonderful walled city.

1. The bedroom has an impressive lighting system with multiple lights controlled by a single panel, however it doesn't work! 2. The building has some form of central air circulation, but it can't be turned off. There is therefore a constant hum which my wife found intrusive when she was trying to sleep. 3. There was no heating (in November) and we were cold at night. We asked for a blanket on our second night but the cleaner removed it for our last night!

The location was great, it was just the wrong time of the year to be staying in the old city. The staff was extremely helpful. I was taken to the only open grocery store on the 24th of December so I could buy provisions for the coming 4 days in my old town apartment. Bed and bedding was comfortable and climate control worked well

The room was tiny and crammed with stuff but not a chair in site. I understand that they aren’t allowed to modify existing spaces but it had things that took up space and were not very functional, still, was a good stay and the restaurant was excellent, as well as the wine.

Lovely staff, super clean. We booked the Ialyssos suite, which is very large. We were offered a complimentary bottle of wine in the room and a 10 or 15% discount if we had dinner in their restaurant. Staff was above all. They offered to carry our luggage upstairs (there are no lifts). We had an early flight when we left, so they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us without our knowledge (surprise!!) Excellent location in the old town. Recommended

If it was something I would not give the maximum score :). But anyway ... 1. Not reachable by car. You will need to contact the hotel before arrival and close with them where and when they will pick you up outside the old town. Free ride with an electro-cart for you and your luggage 2. NO lifts. You must be able to climb two stories

The location was superb - easy to get to the restaurants and shops in both the old town with the numerous historic sites as well as the Mandraki, but tucked away enough to not be in the middle of it all. The terraces outside each room made for wonderful time with the others we were travelling with like when gathering in the morning or having a glass of wine before dinner without having to go far (the hotel ensured our three rooms and three terraces were next to each other).

The breakfast portions of each item were rather large and therefore didn't really allow you to try different items on the same day. Smaller portions and trying two or three different items might have been better.

Lovely spacious room with choice of set breakfasts but you can pick and mix and leave out bits you dont like. Use of large roof terrace for fine weather. Coffee/ tea making facilities in room and a free bottle of water each day. Our welcoming bottle of wine in the room is a nice touch and choice of a glass of wine or other drink on arrival. Also pick up from taxi drop at Liberty gate is great help with luggage. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

What a delightful unique hotel. We were a group of 8 arriving on 1 Nov , so end of season. The staff were amazing and so friendly and greeted us with a lovely welcome drink.. We had a standard room, so whilst it did not have a whirlpool it had such character and was so well designed with all the toiletries and tea/coffee facilities as well as bath robes and slippers.. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. We also ate dinner at the hotel and were treated to a (free) wine tasting class. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend the wine. The hotel is exceptionally good value and the staff are so helpful. They also provide transport to bring your luggage from your car /taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel right in the centre of the Old Town.
