Breakfast was pretty okay as have others commented. Decent selection, however if you end up coming after 9.30, there might be some empty plates and the staff is not filling them or food might have run out. Breakfast time is between 07.00-10.00, so it's pretty normal if you come late you might find the table less full. Xenia in the reception was very friendly.

Hotel interior, lobby, corridors and common places in itself are quite gloomy/dark. So...not very refreshing and a bit rundown. My room had a quite small bathroom and I hoped there would have been a mirror in the entrance hallway, where they have closets. At the entrance of the breakfast room there was a hand sanitizer automat, which either didn't work or was empty during my whole stay. And yes, it's not my job to make sure it's checked daily and filled if needed. I'm on holiday, remember. :)

The location was perfect, in the middle between the old town and the beach. The room was cleaned every day and supplied with everything you might need. We asked for an iron and ironing board on two occasions and it was immediately brought to us.

They were in the process of building an outdoor patio for the restaurant that we couldn't see finished since we had to go but it will definitely be a plus when you can have breakfast outside in the shade in the hot months.

The Lydia Hotel is situated downtown, close to shops and a lot of restaurants. It is an easy stroll to both the old city and to the beaches. In all fairness it is a little dated but the staff keep it very clean. The Double I had was of a good size, and had a wardrobe, hangers and shelves. The bathroom was clean and compact. All staff were very polite, helpful and friendly, especially the ladies at Reception. The buffet breakfast was quite decent with a quite a number of selections.

Nothing really worth commenting on.

Superb location in the middle of Rhodos town on a quiet street. There are plenty of restaurants, eateries and shops near by. The Old Town and beaches are within walking distance. The staff was helpful. The room was spacious enough and there was also a balcony. The room was equipped with blackout curtains for those enjoying an afternoon nap like us. The bed was very good as well.

Nothing to complain in fact. Only the breakfast was on the dull side with plenty of everything, but nothing to speak about : )

We have stayed here 20+ times enroute to our house in Symi. This is a clean, modern hotel in the centre of Mandraki, ten minutes walk from the Old Town and the beach. The rooms are bright and clean with lots of natural light and every room has a spacious balcony. The staff are incredibly helpful with everything from car rental to printing boarding passes.

The "new" breakfast room is dark and depressing with no natural light. Hopefully it's just a temporary arrangement.

Well located hotel close to the key facilities and sights in Rhodes Town. The staff were friendly and polite - especially the woman looking after the catering and bar. Breakfast was good - a good range of options to choose from

Room was a little small - though this wasn't a huge problem. Was a little disappointed that we had to pay half the room rate for a late check out at the end of the afternoon. I recognise that hotels are entirely within their rights to make such a charge, it's just that some choose not to which makes those that do look a little penny pinching.

The location is closed enough to the old town but in calmer area, close to the bus station so you can get around the island. The staff was nice, i saw a lot of negative comment about the breakfast lady. Well , indeed, she didn't smile or talk but she did nothing to us so I think people were too harsh.

During my time, the air conditioner was super loudly.

Excellent location, close to everything you need such as the bus station (where you can easily get cheap tickets to many tourist attractions and other beaches- you have to go to St Paul’s bay in Lindos!), supermarkets and the beach. Staff really friendly and polite. Very clean, especially the rooms which were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Recommend getting the dinner included as Chef Daffy makes amazing meals that are really tasty and is so worth it.

Rooms a little bit small but it wasn’t too noticeable. Would also be nice if hotel was made a bit more modern and airy I.e remove carpets and curtains but not a huge issue. The breakfast at times was salty and greasy.
