Location: it was central for where we picked up our rental car for a Peloponnese road trip after arriving from Athens by public bus and had great restaurants and cafes nearby. You can walk to any Ancient Sparta ruins remaining and the Olive Museum. The room was fine - typical small room but accommodated me and my adult son with twin beds. Bathroom a bit small but a verandah you could sit on. Very clean with comfy beds.

Bathroom size and water drainage when you took a shower. A kettle would have been good. You can get a cheaper breakfast with better quality in the square just across the road!

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and nice. I liked a lot the ceiling low lamp , as I needed much light for reading.

There were no vegan options for breakfast. No vegetables, at all. Only animal derived products. However after I have asked for, the kitchen staff brought me few slices of tomato and cucumber. The bathroom was old, and a horrible noise was coming out from pipes, every time my neighbors were using water.

The Maniatas Hotel is a conveniently and centrally-located comfortable and clean modern hotel that is great value-for-money. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for those wishing to visit the many historic attractions of Sparti, most of which are just a short walk away. The Archaeological Museum of Sparta - well worth a visit - is located just across the road, and the Archaeological Site of Ancient Sparta is less than a kilometre away. There are many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets located just a short stroll from the hotel, and the hotel boasts a very nice restaurant of its own. The breakfast provided is also great! No parking is provided by the hotel, but street parking was not a problem during my stay.

Nothing to complain about whatsoever!

Location was perfect for exploring sparta. Walking distance to major squares, plazas and historical sites. Rooms were clean and well managed (even though a little small). Beds were comfy and the staff was pleasant and friendly.

The breakfast was great delicious and plentiful, the staff was friendly and very hospitable. Everyone went out of their way to Help and make the stay comfortable!

We liked everything and will be back next year!

Restaurant food was outstanding. And it was the reception staff made our trip exceptional. Firstly they gave us a detailed map and told us how to get to places quickly in time before they shut. Second as both me and my partner had an ear infection after sailing they booked us a doctors appointment and even walked us across the road to help us find it. Maria and Viki went out of their way to make us happy and the best customer service in a hotel ive experienced. Plus location is perfect for restaurants, bars and sight seeing

I was given a quiet room as requested. Air conditioning worked well. Location is excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice. And the restaurant is a real plus.

The bathroom contrasts with the room as it has not been renovated, but it is ok. However, there should be a hook to fix the shower on top to allow taking a shower without having to hold it.

It was safe, clean, staff were amazing the food was too much one plate was for 2 people I could not finish it.

The hotel is one of the very few in the region that are well preserved. Very clean,recently renovated,excellent location.

A little on the pricey side The shower could be a bit bigger Water was warm enough for me but I can see how some may want it hotter.

The front desk people always had a smile and a greeting. Breakfast was wonderful, great variety. Clean rooms.

Getting to the hotel was a little challenging parking is a problem but around two you can get parking closer by.
