Fantastic location, close to metro, tram and bus. Only 10 min walk ( lots of stairs) to Fisherman’s Bastion. Great breakfast, helpful staff. Rooms bright and decorated nicely. Don’t be put off by outside of building or ancient lift - inside is great and fantastic view from breakfast room.

Not good soundproofing can hear plumbing noises and people in next rooms. Curtains not good at keeping out light in early morning. Shower in our room not great but nice to have a bath. No kettle, only coffee maker in room- sad for us tea drinkers.

My main purpose is to visit buda castle. This hotel provide me the ease to buda castle and Fisherman Bastian. Room is spacious and clean. Also water kettle provided. Quiet area. :)

One thing I really dont like, it is the guest staying next to my room, talk so loud @ midnight and @ 3am that woke me up. I would suggest hotel admistration advising their future guest should control their way of talking affecting others to sleep. (Cant expect the room partition should be 100% sound proof) Please avoid this happen again. Travellers expect calm and silence room.

The room was big, comfortable and regularly cleaned. We really liked having a Nespresso coffee machine in our room that we could use whenever we like. Breakfast was always delicious. The staff was very pleasant and always helpful. The kind girl on the reception arranged that we get breakfast take away bags on our last day, since we didn't have time to stay on the breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent. We highly recommended Christina Residence to our friends for their next stay in Budapest.

The breakfast is tasty, with a lot of variation and choice. I like the fact that the hotel is a small outfit, with friendly personnel. The rooms are fairly spacious, with modern furniture. The location is also great, with tram and metro close by, plus some parks and a shopping mall within walking distance. My discovery for this trip was the Majomhoz wine garden with live jazz in the neighboring Városmajor park.

Small inconveniences really: you need to pay attention opening the lift door downstairs; the TV has many channels, but just a few that are in a language I understand. This time around there were even fewer of those than last time. But that is the same in other hotels.

Great hotel. Nice location, next to multiple public transportation stations, but also walkable to Chain Bridge, maybe 15 minutes. It was extremely clean, we were greeted with coffee and water. We did self check in because we arrived late and it was quick and easy. Breakfast was really good, good selection and staff was bringing more when needed. Really good and easy communication with staff. The elevator is old, yes, but nothing we haven't seen. If you follow the instructions with it, you shouldn't have any issues.

It's a fairly quaint place located very near Déli's station, and all the staff are magnificently kind, even when trying to deal with my weird demands. I only stayed for a day, but I think that, had I stayed there for a week, I would not have found many flaws in this residence. It works, and it does so very well. Recommended.

The only thing I did not like is the fact there was no fruit in the breakfast buffet, which was otherwise excellent, especially the pastries. Also, something that I must add but will not dock points off the ratings because of this given this is a problem with the building itself and its community of neighbours, the lift is rather shaky and it may scare the faint of heart, because that's six floors of an emotional rollercoaster.

Cute accomodation in old block of flats on the top of the building. Plenty of rooms in great condition. Reception is also very neat. Beautyful breakfast place and food is very good, but has a limited choice. Very warm room even in winter.

The elevator is small and feels quite uncomfortable when riding inside. It is also very slow, but they can't do much about it. Still better than walking 6 floors of stairs. In our room (8) only one light switch is working out of four, the rest are blank. Not comfortable before going to bed.

Great room, comfy beds and a great bathroom/shower.

The receptionist on the weekend (saturday 20th) was very rude and unprofessional when I asked about having an a/c remote. In the morning, our window faces east right where sunrise was and it got so hot that me and my friend woke up sweating. so we just wanted the remote for the morning but the receptionist was so rude and condescending about it, saying “it’s not warm enough for that”, everyone has different temperatures.

Very polite, helpful and kind personel. Thank you Kristóf for everything! Excellent rooms on the 6th and 7th floor, exactly as the pictures show. I stayed in room No 1 and had a view to the back garden. Very quiet, I managed to sleep after many weeks :) Excellent breakfast ! Fresh veggies and big variety ! Very tasty hummus and bread. Excellent location. 3 min walk to the M2 station, Buda train station and the tram stops. 7-10 min walking distance to St. Matthias church and the Buda District. Wifi connection very fast I will definitely book again this accommodation!!!

The TV has only dubbed programs and movies. Only BBC news and other news channels are in English.

Great service at the reception and in the kitchen, cozy and spacy room, comfortable bed, perfect breakfasts (despite the small amount of rooms in the facility), fridge and safe directly in the room, free bottle of still water and coffee capsules as a welcome gift, perfect location (close to the Castle Hill and metro/train/tram stations).

The elevator in the building is a bit old and specific, but manageable if you read carefully instructions on the doors. During our first breakfast, some meals (e.g. scrambled eggs) were replenished a bit late.
