An incredible stay. You can tell the hotel was renovated. I'm not sure of the previous looks but from the very beginning we were treated to a great place. Friendly staff, answered all my questions. Even though you are in a very touristy area the hotel was quiet and calm, on a side street so was nice. Room was spacious for us 4, instead of carpet there was wooden floor which we appreciated and style of the room was great with enough tables and empty fridge to store our snacks. I parked on street but noticed that the hotel has it's own underground parking. It was a great experience and looking forward to come back again on our next trip.

Super clean, very well maintained, classy hotel for a very reasonable price. If you wan to stay in the Buda side of Budapest, this is a nice hotel to consider. 15 mins walking distance (slightly uphill though) to Fisherman Bastion and a very short walk to the Buda funicular and the start up to Buda castle. If you order to reach Buda Castle and Fisherman bastion without climbing stairs or going uphill, then go to the Buda Funnicular ( about 10 minutes flat walk from hotel).

Everything is very good except the Breakfast seemed little expensive and I didn’t take the breakfast for that reason. Depending on which road you take to go to hotel you might end up the steep stair aide. Avoid that side if you have heavy luggage

I have stayed in this hotel several years ago and recently and now it is a truly great property. The location is top-top, everything is within walking distance and the price-value ratio is also superb. It has been nicely decorated recently, the whole hotel is immaculately clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly, the breakfast was superb and much better than the usual 4 star quality.

It would be difficult to write anything

The location was perfect and close to the Buda Castle and the Lions Bridge to the Pesh side. Additionally, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff were exceptional in their service and hospitality. A lovely breakfast is included and offers a wide variety to choose from making it a very good value for your money.

The was nothing that we didn’t like!

Large room, comfy bed. Hotel was very centrally located to attractions on the "pest" side of the city. Great breakfast.

I was disappointed that our booking was transferred to the Exe Budapest Center Hotel due to circumstances beyond the control of management at the Exe Carlton. We were given the same terms as our original booking. Would have liked to stay in the more historical area of Budapest but have no complaints about the accommodations we received or the service provided by the hotel.

We were booked to stay at the Exe Carlton Hotel but we were moved to their sister hotel on the other side of the river due to renovation works - Eurostars Budapest Center. This was a brilliant hotel, room very clean on arrival and cleaned every day of our stay. Had all the facilities we required for a long weekend. Brilliant location (we preferred this new location as was in the more lively location central to everything on the Pest side of the river). Staff were all very pleasant! Would highly recommend and return if we were to ever come back to Budapest (which is highly likely, we loved it) Thanks for such a brilliant stay!

Perfect location to access the castle and the chain bridge so walking across the city was really easy. Great breakfast with plenty options including quality coffee and juices! Really fantastic view from balcony! Helpful and polite staff.

Slight mix-up over my room but resolved quickly with no hassle.

Entrance to the parking lot was not easy to find. It would be better to provide a simple guidance to the entrance.

Staff was multilingual and very friendly. Very clean and quiet hotel in great downtown location. Room was also very nice for the price.
