The service of the man at reception, really friendly and they put sparkling wine and glasses as a bonus because it was our anniversary free of charge.

The jets from the jacuzzi could have been cleaned out. Lots of limescale and bits came out into the bath.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked out before breakfast on our last day, so they ordered our taxi and packed us a takeaway breakfast. The room was newly redecorated so clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everywhere was walkable from the hotel, although it is situated on quite a quiet street.

Very minor details, no drink facilities in the room (there is a mini bar), for a four day stay it would have been nice to make our own drink. There was only one socket in the room, so irritating when trying to charge multiple devices These are small things though, and we would definitely recommend and stay again.

Location to public transport..my mum could travel for free on all transport as over 65..just had to carry a photo i.d to show if asked..I paid £10 for a 3 day travel card for all public transport. Lady on reception was exceptional Warm comfortable rooms.but could open windows if needed to cool. Few restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nice breakfast in a beautiful basement

This experience was something special. Like a trip to the past, to the beginning of the last century, to a time of prosperity and new opportunities. Unfortunately, the Cotton club in the basement is not working. Too bad, because it would have been a perfect experience. Our stay in the Exclusive Suite was really pleasant. The room is nicely decorated, the bed is suitable, the bathroom is nice, the bathtub is excellent. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, but there is no premium offer here. It is a classic breakfast. I have to compliment the nice girl behind the reception desk, she really went out of her way to make our stay perfect.

Breakfast could be better. Give the hotel a soul. Add a bartender to the bar and live music to the club.

The hotel is beautiful, the personnel were nice, the breakfast is good and, by request, they even gave us something to take with us the last morning since we left before the breakfast hours. Cotton has left a great impression about Budapest and their people.

Although the bathroom is apparently sanitized for every booking, we noticed that it was not neat...some stains and dust were left over. Maybe unluckily, but our safebox did not work. We could cope without it...but if it is offered, it would be nice to have it usable.

Loved the feel of the hotel....beautiful wood, very old school feeling. Location was good...we could walk to Parliament and the Danube. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. And it has AC!

The staff person on duty the first 48 hours (literally!) we were there wasn't exactly unpleasant, just not very helpful. The parking is kind of a pain because you have to be buzzed in and out by the staff.

We loved everything about this quaint charming hotel. So much character and just so beautiful! All the details. All of the staff was so warm and welcoming and so helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was really good and our room was so lovely. I loved everything about this hotel.

In our room some of the furniture handles were damaged and the pillows could have been better. No facility to make a hot drink and in a suite I would expect a little more The room really could do with a shower but that is a personal preference for myself and my wife

The room was lovely and spacious. And the room where breakfast was served was amazing. Beautiful architecture. We also appreciated the hotel organising a taxi for a very early start. Having a 24 hour open front desk was very useful for us. Thanks.

Something I have found in many European hotels is the lack of towers rails or hooks and counter space in the bathrooms.

*Amazing location - 2 minutes from tram and train station, 5-10 from metro station, many restaurants and bars near the hotel. *great staff- super nice and friendly, always welcoming and helpful. nice food - tasty and simple.

*The room is cleaned only after 2/3 days of staying three, and after that only cleaned if someone else in the hotel checked out(and then it's usually just setting up the bed and maybe replacing towels)., when they did clean they cleaned and came around 4/5 pm. *Ameneties - the room came with 2 small bottles of soap, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and an open kit of ear cleaners and make up pads - not fun. Also soaps were not replenished every day, we had to ask each day for more until they cleaned the room.. *Breakfast has a small variety of food, but it is worth the price. *The cable TV connection was spotty, only channels working were local Hungarian - not really bad but be advised.
