Very good location - you can walk anywhere. Beautiful and stylish building. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. 24/7 reception and security.

They should add more choices for breakfast - fish, hot chocolate ... No AC remote control. My room (3110) window was facing inside the building and it is locked (no fresh air from outside). Their SPA - is only two small saunas + gym. Bath amenities were limited - only soap=shampoo + body lotion. Shower, no bath

Stunning hotel architecture. Good size room for the first few nights. Ok breakfast. Helpful reception staff on the first three days.

Bath towels were very small, rough and old. No shampoo and conditioner. AC broke in our room and was very hot. We had to change rooms on the last night because there was nobody that could fix it. Gave us a smaller room. Didn’t provide us with any receipts at checkout.

Hotel is in a great location. Beautiful reception areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. All very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Air conditioning worked really well, easy to adjust.

The room was compact, about 18 inches at one side of the bed and 24 inches at the other. Although there was a chair and a stool in the room, if anyone sat down on either the other person couldn't get past. .Hanging space for clothes wasn't the best, just a rail attached to the wall which meant clothes, although hung on hangers were still lying on top of each other. It was fine if staying for a few days but definitely not enough space for clothes if staying a week or more.

The area surrounding the hotel was great for transport, snacks, meals and drinks. Although it's busy for traffic , the hotel rooms had great sound-proofing! Bedrooms seem compact, but definitely had enough room once unpacked and contained everything we needed for a 6 night stay. The tall ceilings also make the rooms feel bigger. Great night's sleep - beds were so comfy!! The breakfast was a highlight too, plenty of selection and all to a high standard. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We also got engaged during our trip, and the staff left us a little surprise in the room to celebrate which was a nice personal touch. Will definitely return, and look forward to staying here again!

Only issue I came across was the early check-in charge. We arrived at the hotel planning to leave our luggage and head out for some food. The reception staff said he could check if a room was available, which is obviously not guaranteed. There was a room ready but cost €30 extra - a hotel of this standard it seems a bit rude to charge extra for this considering the price of the rooms is not cheap. It also was not clear if any of the breakfast room facilities were available for use during the day eg coffee machine, water, fruit etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The lobby felt like an ancient art museum, but everything else was freshly renovated and well-maintained. We used the sauna and gym, both of which were new and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Superior room with a city view, which was great. The room had all the amenities we needed, and the daily cleaning was done really well. The location is also fantastic—less than a five-minute walk to a drugstore and supermarkets, and about ten minutes to a big area with lots of restaurants. Overall, I was really happy with everything at this hotel!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and the service was wonderful. Our friends had some issues with their room and everything was solved efficiently. Breakfast had great options.

My room was on the first floor, and the window was facing the street without proper curtains. The only option was either blackout blinds or to be on display. It's a shame when you want some natural light. Second, with such a hotel, you'd expect better than a 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash and no conditioner. Doesn't suit the aesthetics and vibes of the hotel. The hairdryer is also small and very weak. No water was offered on arrival. Also, the choice to put a huge TV with CNN playing at the breakfast buffet is cheap and ruins the ambience. Overall, it looks like a lot of thought was put into the looks and the design of the hotel and less on facilities and guest's comfort.

It’s a very charming hotel in the center of Budapest ! Walking distance to most attractions. Close to bus metro and tramway stations. The staff were very friendly and during Christmas we experienced special treats by the staff and hotel. They were very nice with our daughter and we had the chance to participate in the Christmas advent calendar and won wonderful prizes. The room was confortable and spacious and very clean

I didn’t appreciate the fact that our towels were changed everyday. We didn’t need to have new towels daily we could have used the same towels for couple of days Water was not offered where usually we have bottled water complimentary but the hotel.

Location perfect for exploring on foot or using any number of different other modes of transport (ie: underground, tram, taxi, bus, private vehicle); reception, bar & cleaning staff very professional, friendly & helpful (24/7). Rooms clean, fresh and quiet.

The storage facilities (on Lower Level of hotel) are functional, clean & a great concept: however, finding a locker with a proper working lock facility, was a huge challenge. I suggest all the locking mechanisms are regularly checked & maintained, as this facility is an invaluable asset for the hotel.

Really pleased I booked this hotel. It’s in a great location almost equally distanced from the river and city park on a main thoroughfare (Oktogon square is like the Piccadilly circus of Budapest). This meant a lot of areas were well within walking distance as were a wide selection of restaurants. Every time we entered the hotel lobby we were not just greeted with impressive air con (it was 35 degrees outside) and the grandeur of the building but also a sense of calm. All the staff on reception were helpful and spoke excellent English (we only managed the very basics in Hungarian but glad we tried). Our superior balcony room was on an upper floor which sat above the glass ceiling of the lobby. Ok it wasn’t a panoramic city view but it was nice to have some outdoor space. We never managed to work out how (or if it was even possible) to turn the balcony lights off, so were glad the curtains did a decent job. The room and bathroom whilst not massive had everything we needed including mini fridge. We booked Hop on Hop off bus tickets through the reception desk. I didn’t rate the buses, but we got complimentary champagne and macarons in our room which were fantastic! Breakfast was quite the spread and served until 10.30, but they stick to that time so don’t hang about. I particularly enjoyed the fruit strudels, pastries and cakes. Also there’s a filtered water machine so you can top up your own water bottles for the day. We enjoyed our time in Budapest and were surprised that it felt such a safe city to walk about both day and night.

Only comment would be that the slope of the shower floor was treacherous when wet, so did deploy a bathmat towel inside the shower to avoid slips.
