We stayed before, so we obviously liked the hotel :) The staff speaks English and is friendly, mainly young people who are open to help with everything. Garage is spacious and good option if you travel by car. It is right across the metro station (metro 3) which makes it super easy to go to the city centre. There is also a mall nearby. Rooms are also decent sized. They come with everything you need. Breakfast is nice - even had some gluten free choices which was plus for us and might be useful info :)

Now the only part that you have to take into consideration is how well you handle noise because walls are not too thick :) not as thin as you hear the talk next door but if there are some louder guests you are likely to be included 😂

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, coice was wide. Getting around the hotel (and from the garage and the hotel) was easy (elevator). The stay was peaceful.

The entrance to the garage is poorly marked (you have to drive around the hotel to access the garage). But after check in the staff kindly explained how to get there. The room was a bit dirty (especially the bathroom). The shower head had poor pressure. There were also ants in the room (on the 6th floor!). At breakfast there were always shells in the eggs.

The property was great for us! The location is close ( 1-2 minutes) to metro ( underground), has in front of it some small stores ( pizza, pastry) and the parking is safe. Also, the staff is very friendly, many regards to the Romanian guy who gave us all the information we need, the room were big and clean and the camerista as well. Moreover, the breakfast was diverse and enough, the restaurant had great cocktails and weren’t expensive. Overall, the hotel has all that you need to spent quality time in Budapest.

Everything was great, just a new interesting mugs for coffee , I think will be better for the breakfast.

The location was excellent, very close to the metro station (just across the street), making it very easy to get to the city center. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large, and the balcony was a nice addition.

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Under the bed, there were over 10 chocolate candies and a lot of dust, which made it clear that it hadn’t been cleaned properly for some time. The bathroom was also dirty, especially around the sink and countertop, which looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for a hotel.

Location is good, close to the metro and the city center. Service especially reception at a good level.

Cleanliness and equipment of the room can be better. However, houskepping service in the room is awful, the toilet and sink were not cleaned at all , the mirror in bathroom is full of stains and there is hair all over. Manager or supervisor to double check the job of maids. In a four-star hotel, you expect cleanliness and that there will be flip flops in the room. The breakfast was very average and we do regret paying for this. Some plates and mugs was dirty and the coffee wasn’t good.

Location is amazing. Right over the road from Semmelweis Klinikak metro station where you can get the train a couple of stops into the city centre. The staff were super friendly and helpful even when things were a bit chaotic during a power cut. The room was comfortable and nicely designed although the bathroom was a bit bare bones. If you are looking for a pleasant hotel from which to explore Budapest then I recommend this property.

I'm not sure how hotels are rated with 'stars' but I'd have to say I think the fourth star here is doing a lot of heavy lifting... The hotel was great I don't want to say anything bad about it but if you compare it to other 4 star places in the city you may not get what you expect. It seemed to me that the hotel (probably due to it's lower price) attracts a younger clientele and therefore on one night of my stay there were some very loud guests up partying and screaming in the corridors until well after midnight. Just know what to expect and you'll have a great stay!

The room was spacious and there was a kettle with some tea that guests could use. The bottle of water is filled daily. The metro is right in front of the hotel, and you can get anywhere in the city in a few minutes. If you're coming by car, there is a spacious garage for you to park your car. The breakfast was great and with many options. The room was cleaned daily.

One thing that can maybe be a problem for a few people is that there seems to always be some kind of excursion of high school kids that is staying in this hotel, so they can be noisy and cause a little commotion. Not the hotel's fault though.

The staff were excellent, always helpful and polite! The hotel was clean and tidy. The foyer and dining area were quite good, visually connected with a pedestrian street and a public open space! I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was an actual workout area, as shown in their pictures! The location, although not in the actual city centre, was very good, on a main avenue, easily accessible to taxis in the night and with a metro station right across the street! Breakfast was ok, with quite a good variety!

I did not like the size of the room! The double bed was comfortable, but there was not enough space to move around it and the cupboards were not easily accessible! When I asked for another room, I was offered one which was bigger, but was lacking a proper stand for the suitcase and a safe box, and had a smaller bathroom! Generally speaking I wouldn't rate the specific hotel as a 4 star hotel! I'd rather classify it somewhere between a 3 and a 4 star one!

We were upgraded to Deluxe King room, which was a very pleasant surprise for us, thank you! The room was clean and modern, we had everything we needed for a weekend. The receptionists were really nice and spoke perfect English.

I totally agree with all of those complaints about breakfast. I think the breakfast in Verdi Hotel is appropriate for maybe a 3* hotel, but not for 4* hotel. Mediocre variety of foods. No omelets because of pandemics (even though at the time of our visit, there were no restrictions because of covid). Cereals of the cheapest brands. Almost no veggies. The worst thing about breakfast was the staff - we could notice only 2 ladies, without any uniforms, dressed like any other guest, in flip-flops (!). Almost no cleaning of tables during breakfast, so we ended up eating in the middle of mess. Service like this is not a standard in 4* hotel, it was very weird and unpleasant.

The staff were nice and the location was perfect. The hotel is in front of a metro station and it was super convenient. Breakfast was good.

The first room that we were given in 2nd floor was so bad. It had an unbearable smell (something rotten) and shower was broken. And the key card was not working. We informed the staff that we couldn’t stay in that room because we had booked 6 nights. Then the staff immediately gave us a very good room in 6th floor and it was very spacious and it had all the facilities mentioned.
