The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and also has a charming inner courtyard available to guests (bit it was too cold and rainy for that during my visit). There are lots of flowers and green plants. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great, with lots of choice and quality foods. The location is also great: a few minutes by foot to the historical center and with Gal Tibor Winery next door (!). There is a bakery that opens at 5 a.m. around the corner and the Beatles Museum also next door). My standard room was quite spacious.

Inside, the hotel and the room both look standard-issue and smell kind of old and stuffy. Nothing to strike your aesthetic imagination) There is plenty of storage space, including a cabinet and many sets of drawers, but some drawers were dirty inside (and the bathroom drawers were moldy, although noone probably uses them anyway). The bed was ok but somewhat too soft for me. The wi-fi signal was rather poor and kept disconnecting every once in a while.

It was our second time staying in Hotel Romantik and enjoyed it again very much. The location is ideal, close to the Center and just a few comfortable minutes walk from all the sights - and just down the street is the Gál Tibor winery. The staff is friendly, kind and helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The bed is comfortable, the room was cozy and warm. We had just one small window on the top floor (stairs only, no lift in the building) but it was fine for our few nights stay.

While being charming and clean, we think the bathrooms could use a small update. The breakfast was sufficient but without much diversity.

This room was booked for my parents. They found the room comfortable, clean and spacious and appreciated having a balcony, which looked onto the garden. They were very happy with the hotel and especially the friendliness of the staff. Also great location and my Dad loved the recommended Restaurant.

Just as a heads up, there is no elevator to the top floor, it is only accessible by stairs, which was not a problem for us but could be a factor for other elderly guests.

Nice, centrally located, just outside of the pedestrian area. Perfect if you are by car as it has own parking. Room was spacious. Staff was very friendly. Excellent value for money.

The room we stayed in (14) needs some small repairs (wall plugs need to be adjusted, toilet flushes very slowly, shower a bit broken). In general, it felt like the room hasn't been checked for these things in a long time.

Perfect staff with advanced English, very helpful and willing. Very nice rooms with air conditioning, so no problem even in such hot summer days! Very clean room and bathroom, lot of space, very nice terrace. Very close to the beautiful centre of Eger. I can fully recommend this place.

Kinda complicated to find this place because of missing own parking place. There could be some better parking like Hotel Korona has, but I was given my parking lot anyway, so I'm not gonna take points off for that. Payment and invoice would be better right away in the evening too.

Hotel Romantik was well located, clean, and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and did their best to answer our questions, and the walk to the main square was a piece of cake. The rooms were a good size and I was fortunate enough to have a small balcony, too! Wifi was strong (would've preferred a secure network though), and breakfast was enough to get the day started.

No real complaints here except be prepared for a few flights of stairs! Otherwise, solid stay!

All was great. Location is superb - the old city is around the corner. Breakfast was great with pretty wide choice of goods and located in beautiful room with garden view. Rooms are spacious enough with all required for short stay - we even had a fridge in our room. The hotel also provided us with the cot for the baby and that was really great.

Staff was super nice, private parking for free! Garden is super cute. Sadly some of the guests, with no manners, played loud music, drank beer and smoked a lot next to our window for a couple of hours.

Hotel is in perfect place, to the city center just 300-400m. Parking at special yard was very helpful. Liked the backyard, green and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good taste, good also for non-meat-eater :)

Room was not biggest :) but good disained, so everything was good.

A great choice if one wants to spend a few nights in the center of Eger for little money. The hotel is in an interestingly built townhouse with a small patio garden. It is located about a 5-minute walk from the main street with restaurants. Another advantage is the private lockable parking lot a few steps from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
