Great Location near Jokulsarlon Lagoon. The room size is good, spacious enough for putting luggages. New hotel, Nice design.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food service was very slow. We waited a long time for appetizer, then waited another 30-40mins between appetizer and main. We were so hungry and actually keen to order some dessert, but after waiting for that long, we gave up dessert. And, the price are not cheap comparing to the service quality.

- great location close to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon - the property is brand new; beautiful interior - large room and large shower with enough toiletries - because the spa and gym were not yet open, the hotel offered us free breakfast and a welcome drink as compensation - proper light blocking curtains in the room - not often encountered in Iceland - luxury feel
- spa and gym were not yet open. We got something as compensation (see comment above), but still disappointing that the amenities were not finished on time - breakfast buffet was not organized properly and it caused a queue. There should be different breakfast stations, so people spread out over the different areas. - the room was quite expensive given the fact that the premises are not yet fully finished and part of the area is a building site.

This hotel is fabulous. The front of house staff were welcoming and warm. The facilities were immaculate and our room was spacious (clearly a well-considered design). We found the location a great jumping off spot for all of the activities we planned.
We loved having both a kettle and a coffee machine provided in our room. The only suggestion we have is that single serve UHT milk, or a fridge, be provided so that those of us who have milk with our hot drinks are also catered for. :)

Nice staff Nice room Comfortable bed Nice lobby
The room view was not the greatest When you say glacier view and see that the glacier is so far that it's not visible unless you get 100% clear weather to me was a bit misleading

This was our favorite hotel during our two week stay in Iceland. The atmosphere was very welcoming, relaxing, and aesthetic. The room was very comfortable. We stayed in the glacier view room and it was definitely worth it. The view of the glacier from the hotel is insanely gorgeous. It was so relaxing looking out across a glacial pond at the glacier while soaking in the hot tubs each night. The glacier is Aldi just about where the Aurora would appear on a good night, so you’d be able to watch it from the room or the hot tub. Their restaurant was very good and they offered room service. Their breakfast spread was also great. They had so many different options and pastries, all delicious. When we return to Iceland I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Absolutely incredible hotel! I’m already dreaming of coming back! It’s stylish, cozy, and luxurious, yet has such a welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly (special thanks to the bartender for the best Negroni ever!). The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and the bathrooms are fantastic – lots of space, good lighting, and thoughtful details. The beds were super comfy, making for a great night’s sleep. Outside, there are two large jacuzzis, a sauna, and even a small lake for cooling off. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast choices were so extensive. We only wish we’d stayed longer!

This hotel has luxurious accommodations with up close access to Jokulsarlon lagoon, glacier, and the national park. If you are looking for a pampered wind down feeling after exploring all day, this is it! The hotel is new and opened in 2024 - it smells like it too! The rooms are comfortable and modern with wood flooring. Beautiful views of the near mountains. There is a restaurant on site, which was convenient after our long travel and tour days. The food is delicious and offers vegetarian options, if preferred. There is also a bar on site, as well, with delicious drinks. Breakfast is offered, buffet style. We ate regularly and were always well satisfied with the food. One nice perk was the hot tubs on the back deck with beautiful views of the scenery. You can also dip in the cold water, if you dare! Free, ample parking. Close (10km) to nearby tour pickup spots and Jokulsarlon Lagoon, which made it easy to sleep in a little and head to our tours of the glaciers and ice caves. The hotel desk and their website can book these for you too, but do so in advance to get your preferred time. Also, a fun fact we learned was that you can tell the front desk to call you for Northern Lights notification. If you have been looking for the lights to no avail, go to bed, they will call you when they are visible, if you tell them to put you on the list. Cool feature! Overall, this hotel was a gem in the middle of a desolate, albeit beautiful location! Highly recommend to stay here!
Wish there were fans in the bathroom. Also, no safes in the room, but nothing was stolen so that speaks to the trust of the staff.

The hotel is about ten minutes from the glacier lagoon - great location. It has amazing views of the glacier, and the hotel itself is gorgeous - fantastic local architecture. We were there just a week after they opened, so everything was brand new. The rooms are amazing, the bed is super comfortable, the linens are crisp. The bathrooms are gorgeous. The interior design is just fantastic, and everything is done beautifully. They didn't have the pool ready outside, so they comped our breakfast - which was just amazing, one of the best buffet breakfasts I've ever had. Our dinner was also very tasty and beautifully plated. The hotel was busy but it never felt crowded or loud, and there are lots of comfy spots where you can sit with a book or just enjoy the scenery through the massive glass walls. The staff was very well trained, professional and courteous. I would absolutely stay here again!
Truly, I can't name anything that I didn't like!

The hotel is still under construction, but I am very glad that I chose it at that time. With its modern design, each space is softly and brightly lit, the shower water is abundant and comfortable, and the dining environment is elegant. When booking the hotel, breakfast was not included, but upon arrival, a colorful and rich breakfast was provided for free, which was a pleasant surprise. I believe that once it is officially open, it will provide an even better experience for customers.
N/A It would be truly delightful if there were a wider array of dinner options available. Given the exceptional quality of fish in Iceland, it seems a pity to confine them solely to frying and grilling. In the northern regions, I've had the pleasure of tasting astonishingly flavorful raw fish preparations, seasoned with local spices, as well as steamed fish dishes that offer a harmonious blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors.

This place is amazing! Since it was a newer hotel, we were a bit concerned about lack of reviews. But no need to be!! It was a highlight of our trip. Beautiful new facilities, comfortable beds and rooms. Sauna and hot tubs were great and the food was exceptional. Loved the secluded feeling of the hotel but convenient right off the Ring Road. Dream of going back. :) Breakfast was not included but we didn't mind paying for it--it was the best and most ample breakfast buffet we had on our entire trip.
Absolutely nothing could be better! It was awesome.
