About this hotel I can tell a story, When I made the reservation I didn't realize that it is not located on the main island. Then it was necessary to arrange transportation by Ferry. If I was asked if it was worth visiting, I would say yes, 100%. The whole location is wonderful. The history of the island, the locals, the puffin sanctuary, the rituals of the locals with the puffin chicks, everything is worth it!

I don't know if there was anything I didn't like. Maybe the Ferry was full?

The small room was tidy, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent for us to come and go either in our rental car or by foot around town. Having breakfast included was an unexpected bonus that made mornings easier.

The only thing that wasn’t great - and we found this all around Iceland - was the lack of blackout curtains for when the sun is up so many hours of the day and night. Curtains were okay, they just didn’t cover everything fully.

The hotel staff were very helpful and the area with the hot tubs was lovely. Our rooms were fine and all in all it was a great place to stay. It was nice to have breakfast included in the stay. We had a very nice stay here and would come again.

There really wasn´t anything that we didn´t like. We found it quite expensive, but then we were happy to have the facility of the hot tub which made it more worth while.

The location, breakfast, cleanliness level

It seems everywhere we stayed in Iceland that hotels use those heavy, warm, comforters but they're just too hot for September. We had to open the windows and let the room cool down so we didn't sweat so much. Could you have another blanket in the closet that we could use as a back up to replace the heavy comforter?

We stayed in one of the suites which was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were warm, inviting and helpful. The included breakfast offered many choices and was served in the attached restaurant Einsi Kaldi, where we also had dinner. Our dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. The hotel's location was centrally situated in close walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. There was free long term parking for our car right across the street. Overall, an amazing hotel to stay at on the island that I would highly recommend.

Kindness at check-in and check-out was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms had stunning views. The hotel was safe and perfectly located next to everything with parking provided.

There is not anything that we did not like. There were two spa tubs downstairs. One was not filled, there was also a Sauna.

Perfect location, very nice room with views. Walkable to everything in town including walk to the waterfront and nearby trails. Delicious extensive breakfast buffet included. Hot tubs and sauna.

Would love it if the hot tubs and sauna were open in the morning. Only open 5-10 pm.

I loved that they had a great free buffet for breakfast with lots of quality fruit, and a wide selection of meat. cheese, bread, eggs, cereal etc. they also let me store my bag before and after my booking. They had a washing machine for guest use, and called me a cab hours after I checked out. Also plenty of towels and amenities, which are hard to come by in Iceland.

There was some banging on my roof, I think something may be loose up there, it was raining. it didn’t stop me from sleeping, I actually had my best night sleep while there.

I liked the waffle iron and made me a waffle. The selection was ok.

We were not told where breakfast was served when we checked and I didn't see any signs - the person in the lobby was on the phone when I came down so I tried to find it myself - I went into a dead end corridor and to the basement where I found nothing. I eventually found the breakfast room because I heard noise coming from there. There were no staff in the breakfast room until two persons came to clear tables. I was offered no service. I was there late, 10-15 minutes before 10 o'clock. That probably explains it.

One of the best hotels. It was my third stay here and I will choose it again every time. Excellent location on the wonderful island of Heimaey, my room had a view over Eldfell and Helgafell, the two volcanoes on the island. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was spatious, clean, comfortable and it had everything I needed. There is a restaurant, a sauna, luggage storage options and the staff is always there to help you. Great value for money and a pleasant place to stay while exploring beautiful Vestmannaeyjar.

Absolutely nothing to mention here.
