Our first hotel on our trip of 5 and this was by the far the best. Great location for the Taj Mahal. Nice breakfast but after we had picked out for the buffet then we were asked if we wanted an eggs for a omelette or fried so ask before you pick any food.

The hotel wanted a deposit before our stay so you end up paying more for your accomadation for example price quoted is £100 so you send £50 plus £10 international payment and then the hotel charges you for their bank transaction of £10 so you end up paying £120.

Great location! Walking distance from Taj Mahal. The staff was also great, sometimes maybe to great haha! Things as scoop up your food, pour in your drinks, asking 4 times if every thing is okay. All really nice things but we're not used to this so we we're a bit overwhelmed. But they do their best to make u feel at home! The location is near by allot of stuff and also the area is great to walk around. It's very clean :)

There was not much that could be better, if I have to name a thing; the room was clean but the ceiling had some edges that had a lot of dust on them, even the ventilator had the some on top of the blades. As i said, it didn't irritate us but that could be better :) Also the restaurant on top had great food ! We

Lack of cleanliness

The location.

I thought that payment it will be taken from my account before arrive, but it wasn’t, so we didn’t manage to have that amount of cash. But then they allow to us to go to the room and accommodate ourselves, and to get the rest of payment, but before that they called a few times to the room reminding the pending payment, it was so annoy. Plus I requested to have some banana around 5.30am as we woke up to see sunrise Taj Mahal views, and the refused to give it to me, it would be charged 170rp extra, so do not make any sense if we will be coming back for breakfast time.

During my recent visit to Agra (2nights), I had the pleasure of staying at the renowned Taj Hotel Resorts. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional hospitality and service that set the tone for a truly unforgettable experience. The rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished, offering stunning views of the surrounding gardens, terrace and pool area. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was truly impressive. The staffs were really helpful in arranging everything for us. The dining options at Taj Hotel Resort were equally impressive, with a variety of cuisine from around the world. Whether enjoying a leisurely dinner at terrace with live music (on Wednesday nights) by the pool, every meal was a culinary delight. Highly recommended hotel for anyone who wants a relaxed stay at Agra while visiting the mesmerizing Taj Mahal, India.

Nothing dissatisfied

We got the most exceptional service from OP Yadav and team during our stay in Agra. Mr Yadav has gone above and beyond what is expected of a hotel manager. The first time when we couldn't get from Rathambore where he did everything he could to get us a taxi from Rathambore to Agra, the second time when our train to Varanasi was canceled. Mr Yadav and his team did their best to get us new tickets for the train. When the train was overcrowded and we came back to the hotel in a daze, they immediately found us a room. The next day they helped us with bus tickets, and arranged for a taxi, the driver waited with us on the bus and then until we got on the right bus. We are all deeply grateful to you! Thank you so much for your great help!!

We had a great experience at the Taj Resorts Hotel. Set very close to the Taj Mahal (10 min walk), it offers a necessary bubble of peace within Agra. The location is in a perfect part of Agra for tourists. From the moment you enter the staff are really attentive and helpful, and provide all information you might need. Booking a taxi to the station, laundry and room services, was simple and handled seamlessly. The room was comfortable and had everything you need. The shower was hot and had good pressure. Breakfast had many good options (hot / cold, Indian / continental) and was VERY tasty! The rooftop restaurant with view of the Taj Mahal had an extensive menu, and was delicious. Definitely recommend.

- Shower didn’t drain very well so bathroom flooded. - Bathroom needs some TLC.

I loved that they sent a car to pick me up (they offered once they heard how I was planning to arrive at the place) from the Airport (I paid Rs.600 extra, of course), but it was very convenient and so helpful given this was my first time in Agra with a young family including two kids under 5. Location is the key selling point of this Taj resort. The entry (east Gate) to the Taj Mahal is only a 12-minute walk from the Hotel. It is that close that after arriving at the hotel, I visited Taj Mahal 3 times (4 PM on the day I arrived, night time view of the Taj at 10.30pm and next day sunrise at 6.30am.) - all by just walking. This was followed by the Complimentary Breakfast that was offered at the hotel - which was good too. Given they have their own taxi service, i used that to book my return trip the Railway station for my next leg of my holiday. This saved me the hassle of the finding means of transport elsewhere. A bit pricier end of the spectrum overall - but considering the convenience offered in return and the primary outcome I achieved (i.e. exploring the Taj Mahal 3 times with a young family in tow), I will say it's okay.

Very close to Taj Mahal - 8 mins by walk. Highly recommended for families. Special mention of Mr. OP Yadav, who coordinated very well and made our stay more pleasant and our free pick up from the Agra train station. Breakfast was a nice combo of indo-western choices:)

Nothing, perhaps the WiFi was dodgy at times!

Perfect location for visiting the Taj Mahal. All of India is unfortunately very noisy (endless honking everywhere, speakers with too loud music, etc.), but this hotel is in a quite calm area, with very little traffic, and a 10 min. walk to the main entrance of the Taj Mahal! Yes, many of the things inside the room look a little bit outdated or not too fancy (faucets are kind of ran-out, or they seemed to have fixed recently the corners of the shower, though not in an elegant way), but people, this is India, and getting a clean room with everything working and an unbeatable location is truly a gem. There are not too many restaurants or stores around, but they do offer their own restaurant with very good food. And the staff is very polite. Check-out is at 11am., I asked them if I could stay until 12, and they agreed. The breakfast they offered was so good and filling that I skipped lunch.

As in the rest of the whole country, unfortunately, sometimes (or quite often, actually) you need to keep reminding the workers about something you have asked. I don't think it was a particular problem with this hotel, but with everywhere. Example: I did ask for more complementary water (offered by them), but I had to ask three times to get it, and this same thing happened to me in another hotel, in two restaurants, to some other people queueing in the Taj Mahal, in the train, so it is an ongoing thing everywhere. Even when you can get annoyed by it, you just have to keep calm and insist until you get what you need. But please remember, there is absolutely no bad intentions or disdain from them: they're just too busy with so many things that they might either forget or postpone it.
