The Taj Vista is such a nice place to stay! The primary desk clerk, his name is Vicky, is a treasure! I seriously doubt the hotel could function at all without him. The food I had from the restaurant was quite good, super-generous portions, and very inexpensive. The hotel is located a block off a fairly busy street and the neighborhood is very pleasant and quiet. The hotel and surrounding buildings are all fairly new - some possibly as old as 20 years. The rooftop area is very nice and a great place to have a cigarette in the afternoon with some shade and typically a cool breeze. Tuk-tuks, taxis, and local businesses selling water, cokes, chips, snacks, etc. are close by on the street a block away. The desk can also arrange taxis for transport to where ever you need to go and when ever. The location is excellent and well positioned for the things you will want to see. Agra is really a pretty large town; the Taj Vista is off to the side of it nearest all the historic stuff. Don't be tempted by a quickie day trip to Agra! Spend at least a couple of days at Taj Vista to be able to leisurely see all there is to see - well worthwhile. The hotel is very clean. I must say that the disinfectant (presumably) that they use is VERY strong (like strong Pine-Sol) and takes awhile for the smell to dissipate (use exhaust vent in bathroom).

I was very disappointed that there was no refrigerator in my room - since the listings specified that there would be. They do have a fridge in the dining area, just off the lobby, that one can use. Still not like having a small fridge handy so a cold drink can be at hand. Aside from that disappointment, everything was really nice and it was a great place to stay.

The hotel is very good. Price worthy. The room size is very good. the beds are cozy. The bathroom is clean. The linen is clean n cozy. The food in the restaurant is ok. the staff are very cooperative. They allowed us to check in late and late check out also. Family can stay happily. the vicinity is very good. This is place is just 2 kms away from the taj gates. Lot of autos are available.

Cab walas find it difficult to locate the hotel. We booked a cab and he took 20 minutes to find the place. The place is just 75 metres inside to the main road. Just because of this we missed our train by 2 minutes.

The Taj Agra was a delight and a great value for the cost. The staff was friendly and helpful on many levels from start to finish. Our third floor room was spotless and newly renovated with comfortable beds and fresh furniture. There were amazing parrots and other birds outside of the windows. The bathroom was well designed and gleaming. The complimentary breakfast was not fancy, but included hot chai tea, a tasty Indian option, eggs, white bread to toast with butter and jam, sandwiches, bananas, yogurt, and cereal -- all to give a great start to your day. There is a lovely rooftop patio where you can relax, and off in the distance you can see the dome of the Taj (not exactly a "view," but nice nonetheless. There is WiFi for each floor -- I had difficulty staying online in our room, so spend some time in the lobby to complete necessary business as it was solid there. The hotel is located one block off of the main street, so is more peaceful and feels safe, surrounded by other guest houses and family homes. All in all, our group of three was very satisfied with our stay at the Taj Agra, a solid mid-level hotel.

Wifi was intermittent, and there was one too-loud cranky hungover guest at breakfast who was demanding melon and berries in the morning... what a tool! The kind hotel staff took it all in stride.

Services: Hotel is very clean, Rooms are extremely tidy, Nice decor , Good size Rooms, very welcoming. 3. Value: Rates are very reasonable, actually property is 3* but it beats 4* properties. Personally would like to THANK Mr. Ramesh and Mr.Anil for providing excellent services. Enjoyed our stay.

Can’t find anything.

Staff was attentive, breakfast was surprisingly nice with eggs made to order. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, oveall great value for the price. Walking distance to fhe Taj Mahal, so the location is unbeatable.

They unfortunately couldn't process international credit/debit cards at check-in, but I had cash.

I absolutely loved the furniture and the clean, well-maintained bathroom. The location was excellent, very close to the Taj Mahal, making it easy to find transport. A major highlight was the availability of a lift and the wonderful rooftop sitting area, which added to the overall experience.

"The TV couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, but it wasn't a big issue as we were able to watch shows through screen casting instead."

The location of the hotel is quite convenient and near to Taj Mahal. The room was quite spacious and clean.

There was a foul smell near the property, maybe due to open drainage. Due to thus, outside the property, there were mosquitoes. I didn't find great value for money since apart from spacious room, there was no other amenities, I.e. gym, pool, garden, indoor games room, etc. For the price I paid, I expected better infrastructure. So ideally, book only if you're paying between 3k to 4.5k. I ended up paying 5.7k per night; which didn't sound like a good value for money

It was great location indeed, hands down. The terrace on the 3rd floor was a great asset. Bed was comfortable and the place look brand new. My parents really appreciated the small stool cos of their age. Staff was friendly and helpful in general.

WiFi in the room was really poor and even I reported nothing happened at any level. Bathroom needs some work as water collects and entire bathroom gets wet cos of no installation to contain the water.🚿

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taj Vista. Many thanks to their owner Mr. Tarun who took special care about not just us, but, i guess other guests too. Very supportive staffs. Room was spacious. Nicely maintained and clean. Bathroom too was spacious and maintained nicely. Taj Mahal was within walking distance. Lot of eateries nearby. Mr. Tarun was kind enough to even suggest some restaurants for us to try in Agra. Overall, we loved our stay at Taj Vista. What we saw in pictures, we got in reality - That's the biggest satisfaction. Will definitely recommend.

There could be a glass separator in bathroom which can help other areas from becoming wet. Otherwise, there was no issue as such.

I gave a rating of 8. In terms of value, it was definitely at least a 9. However, there were some problems that would make it a 7 for most places - so I split it to 8. The staff is extremely nice and very competent. It would be impossible to ask more of them in terms of trying to please a guest. The hotel is fairly new in a newish street - probably 10-15 years old, I'd guess. Marble tile floors throughout shine like mirrors. Despite the few shortcomings, the price I paid made this a great value! The food I had was very good and the portions beyond generous at a very low price.

There are a few things that could be done to make this hotel a step above where it is. The bathroom is pleasantly large - as is the shower. Having some sort of divider so that taking a shower didn't wet down the whole bathroom would be a big improvement and there is plenty of room to divide the two. The listing states that the units have a refrigerator - THEY DO NOT. That was a primary reason for booking here. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. My room had just barely enough curtains, if stretched just right, to cover the window. It would have been good to have room darkening drapes for sleeping late or afternoon naps.
