The building itself is open and roomy and has a colonial style. The rooms were well decorated and very comfortable. The bar area was small and comfortable. The lady on reception was particularly helpful and booked our tickets to the Taj Mahal for us. Puppet show entertainment was good

The evening entertainment of a puppet show was good but there was hard sell to buy after it. Very strong tipping requirement from all staff . Perhaps they would benefit from a one of tipping like other hotels. The pool looked beautiful but was not heated so was too cold too use. Would benefit from some tourist information and perhaps local map

This is one of the hotels where the reality of the hotel was better than the pictures. We stayed in the Chamber of Prince Rooms ant it was absolutely beautiful. This heritage hotel showcased the best of India! The hotel spoiled the ladies with Henna Tattoos and offered traditional dancing at the poolside as well as a puppet show! It was such a lovely surprise. First to feel like you are walking back in time through this beautiful property. The big rooms with the antique pieces of yesteryear and then the heritage aspect.

We unfortunately only stayed one night. Wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is an oasis in Agra. We also did not have breakfast at the hotel so can not comment on the restaurant as we had an early start to see the Taj Mahal and left Agra right afterwards.

The highlights were the communication with extra friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and peaceful live music at dinner, gorgeous gardens and pool area, access to ATM, easy to get transport and guide to Taj Mahal from hotel. The best part was the Prince’s Chamber room with its spacious accomodation, bathroom and direct access to garden and pool on both sides as well as breakfast and dining. The ancient double doors and old padlock and key were so interesting and part of historical background of the property.

The loud and unusual musical truck horn noises and vehicles beeping at night were a bit annoying but i am now used to it as it seems this is very common in India on any road. A good pair of earplugs is a must when traveling in India!

It’s a lovely old heritage building and the staff were very keen to please. Rooms are big with 4 poster bed, big old roll top baths as well as showers, all aircon and a ceiling fan. There’s a warm pool, sun loungers, a walled garden and they serve alcoholic beer (unusual for India). Please ignore the 1.0 score posted by someone who hacked my booking.com account this morning!

Building work by pool (bring your headphones!). Rooms a bit musty. Lack of windows that open, but this is common in India.

Spacious room with all the amenities and clean bed linen and washroom. The BF spread was very good and the food was tasty. The staff made us comfortable and were ready to make whatever we liked.

We saw couple of cockroaches in the washroom. Hotel could do some pest control

Hotel is located in historical building built 150 years ago. But all facilities are new, rooms and territory are arranged with love and attention to details. There is nice garden, pool, candles everywhere. We've booked Chamber of Prince room. It's big, nice decorated, with comfy bed and has it's own exit to the pool. Staff arrange national dance show, puppets show and henna drawing in evenings. Main building is located in the garden, so you don't hear all these horns, which is a great relief in India. We had dinner in hotel restaurant and it was great, live national music during the dinner.

It would be great to have a bit more choice at the breakfast.

It is a nice place with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. However the water was not heated during winters making it a showpiece. There were a couple of engaging activities for the guests in the evening like puppet show and Indian classical dance show. They were good. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more elaborately kept. Items like live dosa counter and fresh juice were missing. The staff was helpful and prompt. Overall it was a good experience.

An attractive heritage property with gardens and a lovely pool. The restaurant served good food and for those that like a drink, the bar is well stocked. Amiable and helpful staff, who went out of their way to help make our stay memorable. A special thanks to Vipu on reception who worked so hard to organise everything from start to finish🌟I’m sure we’ll be back!

Nothing but bedside table lamps would make the lighting in the bedrooms more comfortable.

Lovely stay. The star of the hotel is Shabiya, super friendly and helpful! Definitely ask if she can do some henna - it’s very good! We had a lovely stay. Vibhu was great in arranging a driver for the rest of our trip through Rajasthan and while in Agra. Great food too! Make sure you catch the puppet show.

There are some big scale building and renovation works currently. It didn’t affect us, but might affect other travellers. I was told it will be complete by Holi.

I loved the history that the manager explained to us when we arrived. The tour was really nice and interesting to see the artefacts that the hotel preserves. The pool was nice and the room was massive. It was nice that the hotel put on dancers and henna and traditional music while you ate. The bed was nice and comfy and the sheets were crisp and clean.

It would have been nice to have more loungers by the pool but this is a very minor thing. Everything was lovely, despite my partner being convinced it was haunted.
