Whilst the room itself was somewhat tired and in need of renovation (hats off to the photographer, they look stunning online...not quite the same standard when you're in it!) however; that aside everything else was wonderful, especially the ever helpful and friendly staff. The bed was comfy, and the bed sheets were great quality. The pool was long enough to do laps, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the library was a lovely quiet spot to get a bit of work done. Being only September, the beach was deserted, which we loved.

After the first day we were happy to be given a beach umbrella so we can read in the shade, listening to the ocean. Sadly, the spa facilities were not available as it was a holiday weekend. And our bathroom sink took an eternity to drain! There was a wooden "table" by the bath, which I shifted as it was directly in front of the toilet room door. This left soggy decaying wood behind in it's path...unfortunately the cleaning crew put it back each day, which meant this process had to be repeated each day, which was unsightly.

All the staff at the resort were very polite and helpful. The meet and greet was very well executed with the added bonus of the concierge being readily contactable via whatsapp before and throughout your stay to assist immediately with any queries. The pool area was beautifully maintained and had the added benefit of not being full of noisy muppets. The gym had a good selection of weight machines (though limited number of free weights - max went to 10kg dumb bells). The quality of the food served for breakfast and dinner in the La Concha restaurant was fantastic. The aromatherapy massage at the Spa was also very very good. The direct access to the beach is a superb bonus, allowing for a chance to swim in the sea, go for long walks and also to try out the beach shacks (noting the sea food at the Seagull Beach Shack was delicious). The shower was the most powerful I have ever come across, worth going just for that experience!!

There is little to fault but we did notice that our Essence balcony room felt a little more tired (e.g. creaky door to the toilet, broken balcony door lock (noting would have very hard to get access to the room so was not a concern)) when compared to the Luxury garden room that a friend was staying in which is in a newer block.

Had a really great - very quiet - time at Azaya. The resort and beach, in particular, were near empty during my stay, but the staff went above and beyond ensuring a good visit. Had some trouble with power outage on first night but staff were quick to resolve. Massage was excellent! The resort's proximity to Cavatina is exquisite. It's a can't-miss restaurant while in Goa!

the beachfront restaurant hours weren't super clear and because the resort was so quiet, never actually had dinner there.

Access to the beach Pool cleanliness Staff - very friendly and cooperative. They let us warm food from previous night restaurant visit for lunch the next day for kids … while we were chilling in the pool. Breakfast selection Room service did small tricks for kids with their decoration

Room floor was always a bit sandy Swimming pool tiles were coming off sometimes posing a danger of small injury.

Amazing staff taking care of all the requests. Great location and facilities, very clean and beautiful garden. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax that’s the one.

Overall I don’t have much comments, really enjoyed our stay. Only thing to improve slightly is the check-in, we were tired after whole night flight, just wanted to provide our passport and get the keys, instead had to pay for the room in advance and struggle with POS machine

The property is very quiet and is perfect for a quiet family trip. there is the beach and pool and food only as well as a great spa massage for adults. The cleaning staff were great and the place was spotless. thank you to Praveen and his team! The central staff Mhewish, Lycentta, and Genesia were great, and a huge thank you to Sanjana who sorted everything out for us. she always helped with everything quickly and perfectly. she made the stay very easy.

there is nothing bad about the property. there was not a lot to do in the local area for teens bit this is not the property just south goa. would recommend for anyone who wants a quiet getaway.

very friendly staff.. shout out to Sanjana who was very interactive and always on the lookout for better service. the Duty managers were very helpful as well and helped us with an upgrade since we were not convinced with the room layout. The pool & the beach access was great & overall a decent layout to get from point A to B without breaking a sweat.

The breakfast spread was ok & yet was spread all around the room. They need to have a more interactive host to update the customers what is placed where. For some reason there was mini fridge in the rooms.

My wife and I honeymooned in Azaya for about 10 days in December. This resort is an absolute dream for honeymooners. The food is great, the amenities are fantastic, the rooms are luxurious, the beach is pristine, the staff are professional and friendly. The location of this resort is amazing. It opens up to varca beach, which is clean and quiet. The resort has a lot of beach seats and spaces where you can relax and watch sunsets with your loved ones. Finally, we frequented the public pool which is clean and well equipped. We picked the Azaya XL Pool Suite for our honeymoon and it came with its own pool. It was a little pricey, but the room was luxurious and very spacious. The pool was also clean; we spent most of our time by the pool. The food at the resort was delicious. The complimentary breakfast had an expansive selection of options (idlis, vadas to croissants and donuts) with live counters for dosas and puris. A special mention to Supratim, who made me a delicious avocado toast with poached eggs; it was truly one of the best I’ve had. He also made me a spicy egg bhurji every morning :) Since it was our honeymoon, I wanted to surprise my wife with a candlelit dinner by the beach. Sanjana, the amazing resort manager host was incredibly helpful in organizing this surprise. A special shoutout to Suman and Manohar who were able to accommodate dietary concerns and build a great menu. My wife was floored and we thoroughly enjoyed the “Sunken dining” experience. The sound of the waves, coupled with great company and fantastic food made the evening memorable. Finally, this review would be incomplete without mentioning the resort staff who were friendly, professional and went above and beyond. Special mention to Jayant (who helped us check in), Brajendra (who made sure I always got my ☕️) and of course, Sanjana (who was available on WhatsApp for any queries we had) Thank you for a making our stay memorable, we'll be sure to return one day!

Lovely large rooms, great location and excellent breakfast/lunch buffet

Rooms unclean even after cleaning staff had been. Took 5 days of complaining to get the balcony doors to be locked - felt very unsafe. Dinner options at beach front restaurant were with limited and overpriced for the area. Pool area sunbeds are mouldy, does not feel like a 5* resort at all. We were there for our honeymoon, and my husband had to request multiple times for anything special to mark this occasion despite it being in all our booking notes.

This Hotel is prepared to make your stay memorable. The staff is very kind and everything very clean. Travelling with a kid with food allergy is not easy, but Chef SUPRATI made our experience very smooth 👌. The waiter Arron and Naeem are very helpful and friendly. Ms. Valerie Dias, the lady who stays at the entrance of  La Concha restaurant is very alert about the guests needs.  Thank you very much, Valerie🙏  All Chefs, people from the kitchen and other waiters were fabulous as well. I don't know all names, but I know that all the team is working very well, congratulations! I'm very glad that I have chosen this place for our holiday.  See you soon Azaya!!!
