A Mesmerizing Anniversary Celebration at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa (Dec 18th - Dec 21st, 2024) Our recent stay at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa, to celebrate our anniversary was nothing short of magical., From the moment we arrived at this iconic luxury property until the very last goodbye, every aspect of our experience was meticulously curated to create memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Arrival & Check-In Experience We were warmly greeted at the grand entrance of the Taj Fort Aguada Resort, with a traditional Goan welcome and refreshing kokum juice. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, handled by the ever-smiling staff who made us feel instantly at home. What stood out was the personalized touch—we were congratulated on our anniversary, and the staff took the time to explain the resort’s amenities and services in detail. Our luggage was promptly taken to our room while we were escorted through the property in a private car service, which is available 24 hours, allowing us to soak in the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The lush landscaping, historic fort walls, and serene ambiance set the perfect tone for a romantic getaway. Room & Accommodation We had the pleasure of staying in a Sea View Villa, and it was truly a slice of paradise. The villa was tastefully decorated with a blend of contemporary luxury and traditional Goan elements. The highlight was undoubtedly the private balcony that offered panoramic views of the ocean along with a relaxing set of lounge chairs in the private garden area—the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening toast. The room featured a plush king-size bed, a well-appointed seating area, and a spacious bathroom with premium amenities. Wifi worked throughout the resort.

We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and all the different options. The room was great as well with the balcony overlooking the fort and beach. The location of the hotel was also convenient as it was close to Aguada Fort. Being able to take hotel transportation to the other Taj for dining options was nice also. The service was good and the hotel property was very well maintained with a beautiful garden in the back. The hotel restaurants were good overall.

It would have been nice if there was a place to lay on the beach provided by the hotel.

Location, size of property, sit out room with sea view was pretty, all staff were polite and well mannered views from hotel, pool was good and evening turnover service

It requires some updating- the decorative long cloth at bottom of bed is pilling and uncomfortable to touch. Mat on bathroom floor under shower looks used up. Service in bar is slow. Buffet dishes like prawn curry and some local veggies were tasteless . The room staff wipes floors with wet cloth so difficult to dry. We wanted extra room and Abhirami at reception tried to give us more expensive rooms but luckily booking. Com gave us an extra room which saved the day!

The sea view was unbelievably beautiful, as was the garden setting. We also liked the privacy of the cottage and its decor. It was fun to explore both Taj properties and eat in various restaurants. Our favorite was the Banyan Tree, and we were pleasantly surprised with the variety at Caravela in the early evening. We are glad we chose the Fort Aguada Taj because it felt more intimate and because we didn't like the alcohol bar mentality at the Holiday Village pool. Kudos to Kailash in housekeeping and Aarushi at the breakfast buffet. We decided halfway through our stay that we didn't want to take any more tours. Why leave the fabulous Taj Fort Aguada resort when it was the best part of our vacation?

Perhaps this is an American thing, but we don't like to be called on the phone or have someone ring our doorbell multiple times to see if everything is okay. If something's amiss, we'll report it. Thank goodness for "do not disturb" buttons. If you take naps or go to bed early, it's nice not to be interrupted. Really, everything was great.

Just about everything in our holiday was incredible. The beautiful views from the resort, the ability of our kids to play freely across two properties, and the unbelievable pampering we received from the staff from the staff. By the end, we just didn't want to leave, even though we had been there 8 days. Some of the absolute gems of the staff I'd like to highlight - Avila from the Caravela restaurant. She pampered our kids no end, was one of the sweetest people we've ever met. Abigail, Jesyl and Abhirami from the reception- they were so helpful always. Also fussing over us. Sanjeev and Sahoo from the pool across both the properties. Very caring and careful about the kids in the pool. Gurvinder - the fnb manager. really went out of his way to give us great coffee. Chef Ashutosh from Kokum, and the chef at Caravela- went out of their ways to give us some things which were not on the menu.

Nothing at all. The only small feedback I would have is that guests who come into the property should themselves be more careful and conscientious. We sometimes saw cigarette buds at odd places, even though they are very clearly marked smoking zones. This is not a fault of the people of the hotel, but lack of civic sense from some of the guests. It's impossible for the hotel to administer 70 acres of their hotel properties to ensure what is expected already from the people who come there.

This property is outstanding and the staff knows how to treat their guests. We booked a Sea view cottage and we were facing some water issues on floor due to which the floor got slippery(mind it.. it's monsoon in Goa and these things tend to happen), Once we raised the concern , their team immediately took action and even gave us an Upgrade to a most beautiful and comfortable Hermitage Villa. The staff is very welcoming and special Thanks to Ms. Abigail for making our stay so comfortable and she even arrange caked and gifts for our special occasion. The whole property, The view of sea , breakfast area , everything is just amazing. However the more important part is The staff. You guys Rock and knows your Job. We truly appreciate the services and attentiveness of the staff. The added personal touch of care was heartwarming by Ms. Abigail and Ms. Megha. You both made our stay truly comfortable and unforgettable. We are really impressed, every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive and kind. They went out of their way to ensure that our stay remained comfortable and enjoyable. The room was impeccable, Food buffet was delicious, services were really prompt and the amenities were top-notch. The staff’s attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond was truly remarkable.

property is well looked after and looks gorgeous. the location is unique! pool area is well gaurded and has the Taj stamp of wonderful stafff who look after children, know immediately when someone is in trouble. i was facing the storm and couldnt keep eyes open and saw the Taj guy, in the storm, telling me to turn the opposite way !

Food in buffet needs to be tastier-Andhra mutton curry, vangi, etc needs the authentic touch. Spruce up the coverlets Taj, and you should be fine. Also, less water on floor while mopping.

Great hotel and great service. Breakfast had a lot of different options. Several restaurants at the hotel which was also good as they are all slightly different. Even laundry service at the hotel was really good. We booked to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel organized beautiful decoration in the room with roses and a cake to celebrate. The pool is also very nice with a perfect sunset view. Location is great to the de Fort walls and there is a private exit directly into the Fort and the beach close by.
