Rooms were very nice and clean and the view was fantastic. Room service was upto the mark.

Receptionist (two morning shift ladies) in the reception was not very responsive and was acting as if they own the hotel. Could be more better.

The ambience and cleanliness was beyond our expectations. Immaculate in every sense. Mr. Wasim, Natasha, front office staff exceptional. Inzamam was an excellent performer. We being senior citizens were really taken care of. Anil of housekeeping does a wonderful job. This housekeeping guy needs recognition for his good work. Citadines apartment hotel can be recommended to any type of traveler Keep it up Citadines.

The restaurant providing guest breakfast is a sham. It’s killing the good image of Citadines. Plz get rid of this contractor immediately Restaurant and food is a disgrace Unhygienic and unpalatable. 10 days of rubbish breakfast

Lucky we booked in Citadines, not through Air B & B. The apartment was great for our need. Every day, the cleaning staff kept the place spotless. It was a great help for us because we didn't have to worry about anything else. It gave us time to mind our business why we were there. The security of that place was high and don't have to worry. We both enjoyed the in-house restaurant. The food was great, and we were able to ask the chef to make what we want also. All the staff in Citadines are very friendly and very helpful. I am definitely booking my next trip to chennai in Citadines.

I prefer Citadines to take the payments straightaway when we do the booking rather than waiting until the gest arrives. In our case, we benefit from the exchange rate. According to Indian government policy, Citadines is taking our iD documents. We prefer if Citadines gives us confidence that our documents are safe with them and their cyber security also up to the standard.

The room size, cleanliness, and facilities. Also the way in which our pet was able to cope with the place - very practical rules, and very well planned. Staff were courteous and the breakfast buffet was good too.

The intercoms do not get answered easily. The staff do not respond in a timely manner to requests - we had asked for coffee sachets that never arrived. Finally - the toiletries in the bathroom were not checked - meaning the shampoo, bath wash etc. bottles were practically empty in our room. If these things are taken care of - this hotel is really a good option to stay.

I am completely satisfied. my room very quit, service and facilities are good. I didn't use property restaurant.

when we are booking the room, I can't understand the different category of the rooms. I feel if you provide some more information about differences of the rooms, better to choose.

The Wi-Fi was good in the room, but it was patchy throughout the hotel. It did not work at the restaurant. Room service spoke only Hindi, which is okay, but they were just plain rude. I was repeatedly hung up on mid-order: "Your voice is not clear." I was using the phone in the room!!. Even the delivery is unfriendly. Room service cannot be charged to the room; I had to pay each time. A lot of this may be due to language issues but they have to fix it.

First, it's not a 5-star as mentioned on booking.com. far from it. At best maybe 4-star. it's an apartment hotel. The best thing is the staff, especially the front desk, bellboys and restaurant staff. The bed is very comfortable. I had problems at check-in and had to wait a few hours for a room. They were kind enough to reward me with a bonus night stay. The apartment's washing machine is excellent, and all basic amenities are there. Although it's not perfect, I extended my stay and would probably return here on my next visit to Chennai.

The hotel is definitely past its prime and in need of renovations. The apartment is big, though the sofa in the lounge is not functional. The wifi is very slow. After a few complaints, they upgraded the speed. I faced a few issues, though they were always eager to resolve them. The breakfast spread lacks choices of western food when you don't feel like having an Indian breakfast.

The room was spacious, clean and neat. The hotel was very well-maintained even though it has been 5 years since it was launched. This hotel is equipped with everything a guest/traveller would require. I was surprised when I saw an umbrella next to the shoe rack in my room. The bathroom was super clean and supplied with all the toiletries. The staffs were kind, polite, humble and accommodative to my needs especially Mr. Sasi and Mr. Pandi (receptionists) and Ms. Saranya (housekeeping). I would take this opportunity to thank them personally. I am truly happy to have chosen Citadines Hotel and looking forward to staying in this hotel on my next visit to Chennai. Thank you very much to Citadines Hotel management team for providing a great hospitality.

The only downside of the room is no ceiling fan fitted. Whole day usage of air-conditioner can lead to skin dryness especially in Chennai's weather. Metro train works is going on next to this hotel, so there is a massive road congestion which leads to a longer waiting time for any e-hailing ride. I had multiple cancellations from Uber during peak hours. It becomes difficult to commute due to the road congestion.

All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Especially Injamamul he was so helpful to us. The hotel is just like home, everything you need is there. Beautiful apartment. I enjoyed my stay. There's a mall close by and some outlet stores.

Housekeeping is terrible, the don't know how to clean rooms. They don't clean the showers, they don't sweep well.I'm afraid if they are not trained ASAP, the standard of the hotel will drop in a year. The breakfast is always Indian food. No variety, for hotel with foreigners, we didn't see any intercontinental dish. It's a bit far from the city

The serenity at the property was good. The staff were courteous.

One area to improve is to avoid renovation/ interiors work when the Guest is staying in the next door. Otherwise, I would have rated it 9/10. However after we complained about the noise from construction work (which happened for more than 3 hours), the facility management took efforts to curtail it. That attitude/ hospitality is well appreciated. Thanks.
