This property is absolutely amazing. A haven of peace and tranquility on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Hemant and Nikita at the reception desk, Arvind the guide who took us Har ki Padi, the front security and the restaurant staff. The food and endless cups of chai the staff happy to provide. There was a lovely afternoon tea with beautiful bhajans. The aarti by their private ghat was beautiful and felt so special. All the way to the hotel car and driver organized to take us to the airport. I can’t fault anything about this hotel.

I can not fault this hotel for a single thing! Beyond 5* service from every single member of staff, with attention to detail and customer service. We were treated like royalty from the moment we set foot in the hotel, until we checked out. We had several hours before our night train, Jitender and his team made a room available for us to rest and freshen up and we could y be more greatful. They also held a little celebration for my mums birthday, with a home made cake. The nicest little gesture! Given the chaos that ensues outside of the hotel, I was greatful for the safe and quiet haven Pilibhit house offers. Arvind and his team in the dining area were exceptional at both breakfast and dinner. Always waiting on us, and suggesting dinner ideas when we felt like eating light. The breakfast was brilliant. A real variety in the buffet and additional extras from the kitchen (the pancakes and waffle were a hit!). Lovely entertainment in the evening too. The live singer, and musician during the day was the cherry on top. Soothing tunes while you dine added to the ambience and experience. Gutted to be leaving, but also, I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I come back. Thanks to all of the staff at Pilibhit house for making our stay so memorable. The pool water could have been heated, but we did spend a lot of time outdoors so not sure if we’d have used the pool even if it was heated.

The extent to which the hotel and its staff go to, to make sure you are comfortable makes you the experience special. Everyone is always greeting you with a smile, and it makes a world of difference. The Indian food is good and homely. The Gangaji aarti is well arranged. Their guided tours are made easy and wonderful. The late check out is made easy. For those of you who cannot eat lunch after a heavy breakfast there’s a tea and sandwich cart arranged in the early evenings before the Aarti. The GM, Kishanji from the F&B, Gautam bhai the in-house guide all such wonderful people along with the other staff. The Rooms are grand, extremely clean and well arranged. There is live music and bhajans arranged in the evenings which reverberate gently through the lobby and atrium. Check in check out was a breeze.

There is nothing in this hotel for you not to like.

Location, decor and its cosy. Debmalaya who is front office Manager is the man who is not only passionate but polite and humble and know how to recover the servixe failures. Senior management need to be more sensitive and passionate towards customers need. Staff is quite polite and friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

That it is in a small lane but I guess that’s the character of Haridwar so one can ignore this aspect as such

Although property is small but Ganga view is so breathtaking that the size of the place won’t bother much. Plus itinerary is methodically curated to keep the guest engaged and also to provide them taste of Haridwar. be it Evening Aarti or 9grah puja. Palm reading or walking down Ganga ghat, everything will add beautifully to your spiritual journey. The most beautiful I liked about my stay was people. Staff members like Sagar, Vinod, Anshika where so kind and helpful that you always feel that you are taken good care off which you look for from places like these.

The food was delicious. Chef accommodated my wife's need to have food without garlic. Cultural programmes scheduled in the evening were nice. We also went in the morning to Hari ki Pauri with Gautam, hotel's Ganga tour guide, and we liked his inputs about the history of the place. He was very forthcoming in helping - I bathed at Hari ki Pauri and he helped in keeping my clothes, etc. Last but not the least, I must mention help extended by all people starting from the guard at the gate to Mr Debmallya and the GM Amit towards us when we told them that we were looking for a hotel for one night because of our unforeseen extended journey due to many road slides in Rishikesh. Obviously, we had no prior booking. They were very empathetic and compassionate to let us in and make reservations. Thank you.

We learnt that the property had opened very recently - to be exact in July 2021 & we had checked in late evening on 25th August 2021 - and that they were still in the process of adding in more amenities like gym, a conference room, etc. So, I think our stay was too short to give a meaningful comment and also that the process of bettering the place is still going on.

Welcome and goodbye ritual and gift was thoughtful. Hotel environment is very beautiful. Service staff are polite. Their lunch/ dinner thali set were very delicious. Aman explained everything perfectly to us and served us very well. Liked their additional free activities like the aarthi, morning walk, palm reading and yoga.

They could be a bit more alert and improve service standards. Had to keep calling reception to remind them to add on toiletries, pillows and towels as we booked for 3 pax and they only provided for 2. Ordered coffee after dinner and it didn’t come at all, we were too tired and left it at that. There were no personal touch, no coming in to check and etc like the other hotels that we stayed. Welcome snacks were left open and we didn’t have the heart to eat them. Didn’t have tissue in the room too… and we had to ask.

Staffs were out of the world, I dont remeber all of them, what I remember are Gopal, Ravi, Arvind, Yamlal, Preet and all, we really had the best time because of them. We had the room infront of swimmimg pool, it was exceptional, Noone could imagine such a serene ambience in haridwar, i bet that. Food was also a thing to be mentioned, i forgot chef name, pls note he was great. Full thumps up for this place provided you have the money.

Dear team, pls change your overseas payment partner 'PayupOinstamojo, Bangalor' is almost looting us (overseas customer). You got credit of INR 179K and I got debit of AED 9,352/-. Further if you can include BnB package in the same pricing will help more of the visitors like me. For a place like haridwar, this pricing is something like exploiting the faith of real as well as exagerrating religious people.

It's an experience to stay at Pilibhit House. The warm welcome ceremony, the seamless checkin process, the heartwarming service at the restaurant, the live music, the access to the Ganges for a dip whenever you want... Range of activities to do - trek to the nearby ghats, yoga sessions, Pooja ceremonies - both Ganga Aarti and Navgrah Pooja... There's so much to do and look out for. And most of all, the farewell ceremony (yes they have one of that too) traditional Indian style serving dahi shakar (curd with sugar) just before you set off - just like Mumma did :) The team is extremely courteous and friendly. They made sure our stay was glitch free! Kudos to the captain of the team - DevMallya, ably leading his team. He was literally omnipresent. Anushka at reception and Sagar at the restaurant will pamper you like royalty.

The access to the property is a bit disarming. Since its situated in the heart of the old city, it's in a narrow lane with hardly any place to stop your car to board/ alight. But the warm welcome makes up for any discomfort.
