We loved the location, the room and the ambience of the place. The whole experience is truly wonderful. Among the highlights are the friendliness of all of the staff. My wife and I are vegan and the staff was really accommodating. In particular, Aslam bhai, prepared masala desi chai with non dairy (oat) milk. It was a pleasure to wake up to it every morning. There are so many others who were so kind and helpful. The room was nice, large and clean. Even though we were in the city, it was very quiet. We both had wonderful sleep both nights. We also took advantage of the spa and massage services. It was very blissful. Highly recommend staying here. Super wonderful. We will be back.

Really lovely hotel, made all the better by the absolutely wonderful staff, with particular call outs to Mansi, Chef Pradeep and the best hospitality person ever, Vikram, who looked after me so well. The grounds are large, well kept and fantastic, the rooms are also large, the bed super comfortable, and the service, from everyone, impeccable. Really felt like I was staying in a palace which, given you're in Jaipur, simply escalates the experience. And whatever you do, don't go past the Pain au Suisse at the breakfast buffet - simply the best piece of pastry I have eaten in a long, long time, and still kicking myself for not having discovered it on my first morning!!

The only downside is the plethora of noise which could have been due to the situation of my room - I've read other reviews suggesting trying to avoid the 341-346 rooms due to 'unexplained, continuous noise'. For me, it sounded like some sort of machinery on cycle (possibly connected to housekeeping) coming from the ceiling/roof space - but then there's also the noise that comes about from having tiled walkways vs carpeted - the rebound sound off the walls is real. The hotel can't help noisy guests - particularly the ones you have to get up for at 1am because they've decided to have a debrief of their night outside your room - but, having asked for a quiet room, wondering if the request was either not available, or if there is simply no real quiet available.

We had a fabulous stay at the Jai Mahal and would definitely recommend it! We were given a newly renovated suite (we were the first guests since the renovation) which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 rooms with ensuites plus common areas). The suite was truly regal and splendidly furnished, we could really feel a little bit like Maharajahs! Professional and courteous staff, always polite and smiling, excellent breakfast and food in general (Mr Aslam will make anything happen!), spacious grounds, great atmosphere at breakfast with the flutist and at dinner with the dancers and musicians. The Palace is a calm, peaceful, luxurious oasis in the middle of bustling Jaipur, where we were happy to retreat after a day of exploration. Thank you, we hope we can visit again some day!

If anything, at times, some younger members of F&B staff seemed in need of a bit more training (but we noticed that the fantastic and very experienced Mr Aslam was keeping an eye on them and addressing this so that it would not happen again, we guess). But this is nitpicking, to be honest. Again, we had a fantastic time, would recommend the hotel and would go back in a heartbeat!

The service was excellent . Rooms were clean . The food in the restaurants was fantastic (breakfast and dinner). Teh garden is beautifully kept.

Would have appreciated to be advised that the pool is not functioning before our arrival . Enjoying the pool and the gardens were part of our weekend plans . The option to transfer to another hotel for the pool was not really relevant

This is a very pleasant place to stay. The grounds are lovely, green and spacious and very relaxing. The spa rooms are luxurious and spacious, with steam and showers. The pool is huge and very well looked after by a gracious, attentive staff! The rooms are immaculate and charming, decorated in traditional Rajput style. The Cinnamon restaurant serves exceptional gourmet Rajasthani and other cuisines. Highly recommend this as a delightful retreat from the bustle of Jaipur.

There are a lot of functions like weddings which are a bit intrusive and noisy.

The hotel is really outstanding. We stayed in suite. Simply superb. All the staff members were excellent. They showed exemplary professionalism. We like to specially mention the names of the front office staff Mr. Shiv Mathur, the dining hall staff Mr. Aslam, the chef Mr. Burman, the security in charge. Mr. Shiv Mathur was very helpful and polite. In fact all the staff of reception, dining hall, travel desk were superb. The evening programs were good, the flute in the morning was melodious. The dancing of peacocks made our stay extra special. If we visit Jaipur again, we will stay here for sure.

This hotel, a former palace of the maharaja of Jaipur, is spectacular. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the lighting makes the place magical at hight. The staff is as good as I have ever experienced, giving complete credibility to the reputation of India's luxe hotels. There to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, the Jai Mahal Palace bent over backwards to make the stay extra special. It was a memorable stay!

Excellent food. Excellent staff. Made me feel at home all the time. The vibe is fantastic. Nothing I can think of that was not good except the outrageous hotel taxi costs. Spa is excellent but quite expensive. Got a very good massage.

Staff is around you all the time, sometimes it becomes a bit much. But I think that is because it was off season.

The palace was amazing, staff was courteous and ever smiling & greeting. The cultural event at evening was mesmerizing. Food was good with a lot of varieties. Breakfast was a buffet but dinner wasn't.

Spa's staff was on holiday on that day ,so I missed it and ,that I didn't expected after a long drive of 500 kms. Unexpectable at a five star rated property. Should have a buffet dinner instead of a la carte.
