The Shahpura house is a beautiful property in the heart of Jaipur. The building, the room, the pool, the staff, the service, basically everything was top notch. Let’s start with the reception, there is a young man at there (forgot his name) was very sweet and kind. Another young man named Gautam at reception is a very welcoming, helpful and professional. He gives a very good touch to an even more beautiful stay. The walk to the second floor rooms is nice as you see the gorgeous royal interior(no lift available). The room (double bedroom) itself has ample space with a living room area and curtains which separates it from the bedroom. Bathroom is spacious as well with beautiful intricate designs with marble and stones. There is a ground floor and rooftop restaurant Rasa with good buffet breakfast with many options from North Indian, South Indian and continental options. The staff who works there like Bharti and Kaluramji who work there are very kind and makes sure that all your needs are met. The cleaning staff is very efficient, one kind girl (forgot her name) from the cleaning staff tried to make sure everyday if we need it cleaned that really was very sweet and kept our room always clean and updated of all facilities. They also have a in-house bar which stays open until 12 I think. It has good drinks and a nice pool table. The swimming pool is pretty nice, not too big and not too deep either. We got to enjoy the swimming pool in the morning before checkout and we lost track of time but they didn’t rush us at all. All the services are provided by the Shahpura House, they even have in house tourism agency which can arrange your travels in Rajasthan or city tour or ride to the intercity airport. All in all, an exceptional stay and I only wish I could stay there longer. We will definitely be staying there again.

It is monsoon season in August so the outside of the hotel was clogged with water and getting a cab or auto was nearly impossible. It took us very long to find any means of transport to go around the city. Himmat ji at the reception could work on his English and hospitality skills a bit more.

Our stay at Shahpura House in Jaipur was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel’s traditional Rajput architecture, luxurious rooms, and top-notch amenities made our visit memorable. However, what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service provided by Paresh and Gautam. Upon our arrival, we faced a stressful situation as our luggage was misplaced at the airport. Paresh and Gautam went above and beyond to assist us. They tirelessly coordinated with the airport authorities, provided constant updates, and ensured that our luggage was located and delivered to us promptly. Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile turned a potentially disastrous situation into a manageable one. Their professionalism, empathy, and commitment to guest satisfaction are commendable. Thanks to Paresh and Gautam, we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay without any worries. We highly recommend Shahpura House for its beautiful ambiance and outstanding staff.

Shahpura House is not just a hotel, but a work of art with magnificent design, convenience and comfort for visitors. We were especially lucky that upon check-in, we were given a presentation of the hotel by Paresh, who professionally and with sincere delight told the story of Shahpur's house. The staff, rooms, restaurants, terraces, lounges, swimming pool, and evening entertainment programs of the hotel create an atmosphere of luxury for clients. I especially want to highlight the professional work of Paresh, who is a key employee of the hotel, possessing such qualities as organization, timely delegation and organization of service at the request of clients. In addition, many thanks to Paresh and Reet (Travel Agent in the Hotel) for their organized actions, as a result of which our family’s trip to Khadjuraho was not disrupted.

Everything is super!!!

Our stay at Shahpura House in Jaipur was magical! We were a group of 7 female travelers on a yoga retreat and were thoroughly impressed with the hospitality. A special thanks to Paresh, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. He managed everything for our morning yoga classes with exceptional care and attention to detail. Paresh's kindness, constant smile, and warm demeanor made our stay even more special. His efforts truly made us fall in love with the palace and its serene environment. Thank you, Paresh, for making our retreat perfect! Highly recommended for anyone staying in Jaipur and would like to experience a stay in a real Palace!

The property was very nice. Our room had 2 balconies!👍 There was performance by traditional Rajasthani singers at night. This was a treat!

The roof top restaurant was not comfortable! Though it was indoors, there was cold draft coming in from small windows which had no glass or cover. All diners were feeling cold inside. They had a live singer who was performing outside the venue on the terrace, in freezing temperatures!! This was such a bad idea, we felt so sorry for the singer, we bought a whiskey for him. Even requested the staff to let him perform indoors, but to no avail.

It’s a jewel-like heritage property, a destination in itself. Eating on site is expensive but the food is good quality. Owners seem caring and hands-on, always a good sign. I liked the live music in the mornings and the beautiful pool. The gift shop is well stocked and prices are actually fair.

Cleaning staff needs a little more attention to detail - I didn’t get toilet paper for 1.5 days and the underside of taps etc were dirty. Towels looked grungy and had stains - yuck. I booked especially because I thought I could get a massage and the spa was closed. Guests should be informed of this before booking. There are other spas within walking distance - I would have liked to have that information when I enquired about the spa.

We were visiting Jaipur for first time and there was a big task of choosing the place for 2 days of stay. After going through several sites, we zeroed down upon "The Shahpura House". Being in Rajasthan, one should soak in the ambience and feeling of royalty or shahi. This is a heritage themed hotel, which was opened before independence of India i.e. 1946. It's like a small palace or a big haveli, where as rooms give you unique experience of staying in exquisite palace. Adorned with a number pf of Kings, queens portraits, along with royal family antique furniture, weapons and huge wooden doors, high ceilings and many more things. You would be in awe of everything they have here to let you feel that you are in some special place Now, about location, it's at the center of Jaipur City, in a VIP area. There are many sightseeing places near by only. Price wise, it was more than reasonable. Breakfast was complimentary, and came with a big menu, comprising of Indian as well as some typical western themed foods. There also arrange puppetry and ghoomar dance, however we missed both as we were out till late evenings both days, we stayed. A must recommended place, for all needs i.e. singles, couples or families.

WiFi wasn't working, it was fixed in matter of few hours. Also, TV connection was fixed after 1 day of complaining.

Amazing stay ! Our favourite stay in Rajasthan ! The property is so beautifully decorated, very well kept and clean. Grandiose. Very professional service, real hospitality as it should be. Breakfast is the best you could have we had so many options. Laundry service is quick. On top of all that, we had the best food so far in the rooftop restaurant in Rasa, we didn’t even want to try another one the second night and decided to go back to Rasa. The ambiance of the restaurant is great with very nice live traditional music. I really recommend the Dal Rasa and the Anjeer Kofta!!

we had a room next to the cleaning area so it was a bit noisier in the morning

Shahpura has the great advantage of location, which is close enough to the main city sites such as Hawa Mahal and also close to the more modern part of Jaipur. Also going for it is the fact it is beautifully made. They have tried, almost too hard, to give it a very royal look and would be loved by bloggers for its numerous scenic spots to give you that special picture. The rooms were good, clean and hygienic and very 'home' like. They weren't your typical hotel room you maybe used too. Food & service was good too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking a stay in the city.
