Food was excellent for breakfast and lunch with many varieties of home style food. The lunch had a variety of south dishes. The taste was excellent. Head chef Ganesh has made the restaurant excellent. Staff were very courteous and helpful all the time.

Rooms were on smaller side for the price so was bathroom but maybe because it is older. Some renovations would help to enhance the look and keep it near the price charged. Otherwise it’s nice and clean and good cleaning staff. Parking might get overwhelmed at times, but only if rush is high.

Fantastic hotel to stay, the pictures don't do justice. Didn't know GRT has hotels. Very courteous and helpful staff. We had a long chat with the chef as well who accommodated food recommendations. The security was helpful as well in finding local transport. The rooms themselves were very clean and had some creative decor. Looks like the bathrooms were upgraded, very good shower system. This will be my go to hotel in kanchipuram and will consider other GRT brand hotels in other places, thank you for the hospitality.

This is probably the best hotel in Kanchi. The rooms are fine, all is working: AC (which you can fully regulate yourself and it’s good), hot shower. There was no hair dryer in the room but they brought me one when I asked (and it was a good type). Breakfast is ample and tasty. Staff is pleasant. I especially appreciate that they gave me a quiet room as I asked, this resulted in a good night sleep. The location is good for temple visits. The newspaper in the morning is a bonus. I appreciate the small gift at the check-out, thank you!

The rooms are a little dated and could do with a renovation, especially bathroom. Water from shower going over the bathroom floor (floor level shower and toilet almost the same) when showering longer. The bathroom has no ventilation and dries a long time. Driver amenities could be better. Please do not ask for a review during check-out. People are often in a hurry then. Also, when I’m wearing a face mask, it means that I’m not happy to touch many surfaces like an iPad (I was asked to do the review on the receptionists’ iPad), especially when there is no disinfecting liquid near (perhaps you could provide one at the reception anyway?).

Well i had booked this room for me and my husband but when i checked in it said a single occupancy and then said the rate was more as its double. I travel all over the world and live in hotel's all the time but the rate for the room stays the same single or double, it only increases when its with kids which i understand. i dont mind paying but it should be done when booking. i am not sure why the booking platform i used Didnt do that.

We liked the customer service very much.

The food was not as tasty as what we found at Madurai. For example, the idli was very hard. The Madurai Chef should be asked to teach the skills to the people out here at Kanchipuram. Another suggestion is to please hire the experienced Saravana Bhavan chefs who are now no longer with that hotel. They can be poached. Full families from lower income families of Tirunelveli can also be hired. That is 45 plus couples where both the husband and wives are good chefs. You can even try Aappam and things like that for ultimate customer delight.

This is a nice hotel and the staff were very pleasant. The room was quite nice and comfortable. They arranged for a motor taxi to take me to some temples. The buffet breakfast was very nice.

I am confused about the amount of tax that they charged me on the food that I consumed there. It was much higher than what you pay in restaurants in general

Staff hospitality and service was great. They would take care of everything. We initially booked a deluxe room, after arrival we realised it would be small for a family with 2 kids. Front desk staff were helpful to change to Suite room which was very spacious. Restaurant at ground floor was exquisite. Staffs there were also welcoming and courteous. Located in the center of the town. It was easy to reach good shops and temples.

Price for the rooms were on the higher side. Having a pool would have been great addition for this price. Considering other amenities and services we get it is worth spending. Beware of the auto people. They will surround you as soon as you get outside the hotel. But I think, it is common for any hotels in Kanchi.

Breakfast was excellent, the food had best quality and taste. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is located in the prime area which is very near to Kamakshi temple and shopping also.

The rooms are very neat and clean , but they could have done it much better. We took the small room it was good . But big rooms are not maintained well, so we didn't select big.

The staff is well trained and made it very homely by being attentive. The birthday cake surprise was well organised and made it special.

Food is high priced. No mini fridge in the room for the room price paid. Only available in suites. This is a must in very hot weather. Would love to stay back if better rates are available. There was a long waiting time for check-in inspite of confirming twice.

Everything about th hotel. Food, staff, cleanliness, hospitality, everything is great. Worth the money and would love to see this kind of hospitality everywhere in the hotels. Will definitely recommend and come back again
