I stayed here for 2 nights first time, felt connected with nature, amazing view of hills and garden full of roses , pool water view and overall felt privacy , security and superb experience. Price wise little more , but if we see overall package with view its worth spending quality peaceful time with nature. Food quality was super, chef sandeep ji was very polite and ready to do all whatever is expected. Gaming zone was super with Air hockey, TT table etc , well maintained , pool was maintained well . Quality of water in manali is too good, didn't get any skin effect even after pool. I enjoyed stay here and recommend other if you want serene quiet connect with nature, Mall road is away from here, need to take local bus who can take 30 min to 1 hour depends on traffic.

Steam / Sauna Cost is way too high like 1000 pp is too high for steam room only

First of all the location and view and the property itself feels like out of the world. My special thanks for Mr. Dev (Manager), his staff who made this trip memorable. Also, special mention for the owner of the property who was also there and his he was extremely humble and caring. It was clearly evident that he takes care of his staff well, and that is the reason the property as well as the guests are taken care so well.

I feel the wifi needs to improve, even though it would be un-fare to complain about this here, as we never felt like complaining about this to the staff, because we were mesmerized with all other things at the property. Our purpose was have true experience of Manali with no noise. It was so calm there, as if we could hear our heart beats :-)

The property is very well maintained - the rooms, the garden, restaurant, etc. Breakfast in the garden was amazing - both the English breakfast and the Indian breakfast. Great variety and tasty. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location and property itself is just gorgeous. The breakfast and food was amazing, the staff very polite and always ready to accommodate requests (including the property owner). The owner displayed a sweet touch of hospitality by even sharing local fruits with us as gift.

The property can still use better maintenance. Our door was really hard to lock and we had to call staff every time to lock it. Also the toilet paper rolls provided were comically small in size. The hotel showcased a little elitist mentality when our driver wasn’t allowed to eat in restaurant even when we were happy to pay for it. The spa wasn’t open. Finally, this being a boutique hotel I wish they would be more flexible with late night snack etc and drivers accommodation because they are aware they are NO food or stay alternatives nearby especially at late hours

Shivadya is a wonderful example of what a nature loving, well exposed and intelligent local can do to the tourist industry. You can hear the pride and satisfaction in the voice of Mr Ritesh Sood the owner, who , without any civil engineering degree, has painstakingly developed this property to be the finest in Manali. The rooms are huge and well equipped, the decor is classy and the garden , beautiful. The view of the snow capped peaks makes you feel close to heaven! We stayed here for 4 days and could have stayed on forever. The food is excellent. Mr Sood and his wife take care of everything personally which is what makes Shivadya so different from other places. We were pleasantly surprised when he offered to cook dinner himself for us on our last day and prepared local delicacies such as Paalda, Lingri, ma ki daal and fish curry. Everything was lip smacking tasty. Breakfast in the lawns was wonderful. Mr Sood's knowledge of the local treks and places worth seeing are an added benefit. Special mention of Sandeep, who took such good care of us and was ever smiling! Thanks!

Nothing, really! Just a word of caution- do NOT compare this property with the 5 star hotels of the plains. Land in the mountains is scarce. So don't expect a swimming pool.. Also, don't be put off by the approach road. It's a small narrow turn in the main road in village Karjan (10kms before Manali)

Excellent boutique resort, very clean and tastefully setup.. Staff was very helpful. Food was amazing throughout, we stayed for a week and could never find better food anywhere else in Manali.

Location is a bit far from Manali and every place of interest. So that adds extra half an hour of travel wherever you want to go. Nothing much near the resort

We had a memorable stay at Shivadya Resort. The rooms are very well maintained and the property has a really beautiful garden and picturesque view of the mountains. Highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful stay, away from the hustle bustle of the city, in the lap of nature.
