Right from the start, the manager, Aslam ji, made sure our stay was comfortable. Chef Dan ji personally took care of our requirements. In general, the staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. The yoga instructor Gurvin ji is a star teacher and is a great asset to this resort. We found it unusual that all the management staff were hands on and we could clearly see their pro active involvement. For example, the housekeeping manager Sachin ji was not just supervising his staff but did not hesitate to grab a broom to take care some issue as he saw fit. Quite extraordinary!

The breakfast was very delicious and very impressed with the quality of coffee . Though it was self service the staff were very good and brought what were we need to the table . Especially enjoyed the hot dosa the served us and we stayed for two nights and both days the hot breakfast was different.Enjoyed the morning yoga out in the open . Also we had a body scrub massage which was very good

The day we arrived there was a large group of families with children , we did not mind this only thing they were running about and they stayed up late so we had to put up with the noise as it’s a yoga wellness we accepted it to be peaceful. The hotel should request to parents when booking they must feed their children earlier and send them to their rooms .

The resort has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the morning Yoga sessions. Breakfast has a good variety of dishes and the restaurant menu has a good selection and is delicious. Staff are very helpful. Outside seating area with beautiful views . Spa facilities were nice. Location is on a smaller quieter road. You need transport to get to any shops or restaurants.

Due to its location, a car or taxi is required but the resort does not cater for any basic facilities for the drivers which is a shame.

The view from the room and balcony was excellent (greenery, trees, mountains, clouds, distant Dehradun sparkling at night etc.). Facility itself has a lot of greenery.

Downside - 1. More than 5 kms away from Mall Road. 2. Hotel doesn't have any shuttle. 3. Room service phone is kept switched off from 10 pm to 8 am. 4. Room is not cleaned unless specifically asked for. 5. Food was not always that great.

Excellent location. Very friendly and caring staff. Excellent food, non-spicy and very tasty (The chef and his staff must be congratulated). The serving staff in the restaurant very good and went out of their way to help. The reception staff were very courteous and welcoming. The resort provides yoga sessions with a very nice trained teacher plus has spa facilities that are worth visiting. This is a vegetarian facility, this being an added attraction.

The location is excellent -- we already miss the view. The staff of the hotel was kind and helpful in every way, taking tiny problems immediately into consideration. We would especially like to mention Yogesh Bhat, but this applies to each and every member of the hotel staff. We seldom at out because the vegetarian meals were invariably excellent; there is a lot to learn from the chef and his staff.

The hotel is expanding and the construction works inevitably produce noise. The hotel staff did their best to solve this.

It’s scenic beauty and greenery.

Property is too big and staff is too less. Actually they are under staff. In fact staff has no clue on certain queries .one thing was very awkward from desk staff when we asked to arrange a small cake for husband’s birthday as I hv already mentioned at the time of booking.. they asked 5k extra in my opinion it should be complimentary from hotel.

I really enjoyed the overall vibe of Yog Wellness By Amritara. Property location was good. Convenient to reach and had superb view. Staff was friendly and courteous. Although property itself was a little limited in space and facilities but they were working on it. In no time they will have even more space which would be a great addition. Food (though limited) was really well prepared and served. We were lucky to get the same room which property highlights in their advertisement, so we probably had the best of view and surroundings 😀. Many people complaint about monkeys menace but I think we were lucky in that regard too. Only one sighting that too near the entrance. Overall we really enjoyed everything about this property and I would highly recommend it to everyone 👍

Food menu was extremely limited so after 1-2 days you'll run out of options. Facilities were limited but they were adding swimming pool and other sports facilities with kitchen garden so this should be a healthy addition. Bathroom was very very small. Literally cramped for space. Parking was a little steep but none of this can spoil your fun here.

Superb views from room and executive room size is big and clean. It's a new property nestled in lush greenery and peace. Staff is helpful and polite.

This is far from mall road which is the tallest point and main area in Mussorie with lot of food and shopping options. You need a cab to go to mall road or any of the tourist points.

Beautiful view from the room. Comfortable sofa / daybed to lounge on. Absolutely beautifully maintained gardens with comfortable outdoor areas. Accessible yoga classes and spa treatments. Lovely staff.

Some mould on walls high around the curtains - it was very humid so I’m sure hard to maintain. Swimming pool was not particularly appealing.
