One of the best hotels I stayed at in India (and I stayed at the Taj in Mumbai). The staff were able to organise reasonably priced private transport to Ajanta and Ellora the night before my visits; the room was very comfortable and well-appointed (and unlike some other places matched the photographs!); the laundry service was excellent; and best of all the hotel restaurant was exceptional, especially for dinner. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Hotel Green Olive to anyone travelling to Aurangabad - it was definitely worth paying a little more than other local options for the comfort and service provided. Everything! This is without question one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. And to give that accolade to a 3 star hotel in India, is quite surprising! On this 3 month trip alone we are staying in 31 hotels! The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, the staff on reception and the room cleaning lady, kind, professional and thorough. The restaurant and particularly the staff there serve the tastiest cuisine and coldest beer. So good, in fact, we dined there for four nights. Every meal was spectacularly spicy. Thanks to all the staff and hidden chefs in the kitchen for four very memorable meals. DO book your Ajanta and Ellora transport at reception. The prices are competitive. My advice would be to pay a little more and book the most spacious vehicle you can afford. Your legs will thank you!

Leaving! Oh, and the repetitive background musak in the restaurant! Play some soft sitar or something Indian.

The breakfast was nutritious,varied and well organised. Eggs were cooked to order and there were always Indian as well as western style food available. We appreciated the fresh fruit and cupcakes too. The chef is very good as we also had dinner at the hotel a couple of times. The room was very well cleaned every day and all tea and coffee ingredients were replaced. I had a problem with the electric kettle the first day and it was immediately replaced. The staff, especially the wait staff, were extremely polite and looked after the guests very well.

The wifi was very weak and often nonexistent. The shower tap was quite temperamental! It worked well at times, but not always.

Comfortable room, good breakfast and helpful staff. Jameel from JK Green Travel and Tours took us to Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves. He was really good. Very knowledgeable and made us really comfortable. Have us the recommendations of which caves to see, and good instruction in how to get tickets and where to go. Just made it really easy and enjoyable for us.

They have a motion sensor light in the bathroom which I really didn’t like. The light turns off too quickly if you aren’t making big movements. Also you have to keep the door closed because at night time because the light will randomly turn on. But that’s it, everything else was fine!

Good European-style 3☆ hotel with a reasonable price and good restaurant ( when open), the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is tasty,AC works good. Recommended for a short stay .

There are no food for breakfast after 9.30 though it declared open until 10.00. The restaurant was closed by the day time but open in the night including late room-service. The movement indicator turns off the light in the bathroom after 5 seconds when you remain still. So you have to move constantly your hand or leg not to find yourself in the dark. The rest is not significant. All in all it's quite good.

We arrived in India and the Green Olive Hotel was our first accomodation. We were looking for a smooth arrival, with confort and in the same time value for the price. Our expectitions were all achieved. They sent a taxi to pick us up in the airport and allowed us to have a early checkin. Ajjanta and Ellora were amazing and we went there with the driver they arranged for us in the reception. Very nice breakfast and the most amazing thing is that from the room you can not listen the crazy traffic from the streets. Sure I would come back!

The hotel installations in general are really good and exactly as the pictures in the app.

Three things I didn't really like at all. 1) The first night I ordered a room service around 20:00 and around 22:30 they were calling to my room and ringing my door to pick the dishes up. Probably if it was happening earlier I would be glad, but NOT at that time especially if you are a solo travel woman 2) The bathroom floor, in the toilet area, floods when you use the shower through a hole that separates the areas, but in the toilet area there is no place for the water to go and it remains flooded 3) They wanted to charge me for a sheet that I had dirty, claiming that the stain had not come out when they did not even change it, they made my bed again with the same dirty clothes. I put some hand soap and water on the stain and it came out. They didn't even apologize

The hotel Green Olive is at a good location closer to the airport and we received a complimentary ride from the airport. It is very clean with friendly and smiling staff. The restaurant is also cleaned and foods were very tasty. The hotel recommended taxi service is excellent specially our driver associate, Mr. Anwar took an extra effort to book our taxi from Bombay to Pune this morning. No one could expect a better service with amount of money paid. I wIll use the hotel facility if I plan to revisit Aurangabad.

There is not a nearby good restaurants with a different style of food service. Sometime you prefer to enjoy a different style of food and cooking.

Very clean and comfortable room - one of the cleanest we have stayed in India. Location is a 10 min walk to the bus stand for getting to Ellora, the Fort and Ajanta. Restaurant had excellent food and service. They helped organise a car from where we were previously staying in Solapur - that was very helpful, thank you! They can also help organise a car for Ajanta, Ellora etc (if you prefer a car to the bus!)

Wifi constantly dropped in and out in our room. When downstairs and connected to a different network it seemed to work fine. Note: laundry prices were super high compared to other similar hotels in India we have stayed at, so we didn't use their laundry service

The location of the hotel is at a very convenient place. They arranged our pickup from the railway station without any extra charges. The rooms were very spacious, clean and adequate amenities were provided. The staff was super helpful and courteous. Mr Gajanan from the reservation team was excellent. We arranged our sightseeing trips on all days through the hotel and it was fairly priced. Happily recommended.
