Excellent location near to the big temple but still quiet at night (road noise during the day). The staff were extremely helpful and arranged me a tourist car for a day at short notice. The room was large and well appointed including with kettle and tea/coffee and hot water in the shower. Newspaper delivered every morning. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection of Indian dishes, fruit, cereal and toast. The restaurant was good and I ate there for lunch also and it had very nice south indian thali. Overall this is an excellent mid range business type hotel frequented by families and tourists that offers great value for money.

Nothing. Rooms are a little noisy due to the road outside but it was quiet at night.

The rooms are very spacious, Right across the main Bus station and the Railway station Tanjavur. The Brihadeshwara temple is walking distance(~ 1,5km). The oldest restaurant is also walking distance away- It s prime location. Food is amazing, the breakfast with the local dishes and the taste of vegetables is just spot on.

Just the prices are a little expensive, Room rents are understandable, but the food and the amenity price could be reduced

- The room with king-sized bed looks very royal, big, and clean, totally worth the price. - bed was very comfortable - location is very nice, right in the city , near to big temple

- nothing much. Just a suggestion that the tiny bottles of shampoo and soap can be replaced with a big refill bottle for each room as it’s more environmental friendly. Also, the small bottle is not enough for 2 people.

great spread for breakfast. Good service. Morning newspaper delivered to the room was an unexpected bonus! Great location. Very close to the bus stand and the Big temple. The staff were very courteous. There was a locker in the room for keeping the valuables. There was also a mini fridge. A pretty spacious room. High class hotel.

Bathroom was a bit smelly. Smell was coming from the ventilator window. Shower cap box was there but there was no shower cap!

We only stayed in Thanjavur for one night but staying here provided a great base from which to explore some of the key attractions, including the Brihadisvara Temple. The staff were kind and attentive and we really appreciated their help arranging a taxi to our next destination. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food at fair prices (we particualrly enjoyed the breakfast and the vegetarian banana leaf lunch).

Great service from the team. Breakfast buffet is very nice. Location is perfect for visiting the palace and the unesco world heritage temple. Hotel is also in a historic building that used to be a cinema. One of my best stays during my one month long trip in India.

For me everything was fine, but my partner would have liked more sweet options for breakfast.

Comfortable spacious room. Ours was at the back so we didn’t have a problem with road noise. Easy quick autorickshaw ride to the Big Temple (80-100 rupees).

WiFi access was hard at times. They didn’t give us the log-in and password info so we had to down to the desk to have them re-enter the information.

I opted for the breakfast....but need to check out at 6am in the morning....breakfast timings started at 7am..... I asked to change the breakfast for dinner before night They said it was not applicable

I think the food can be provided according to the traveller's preference , who stays in the hotel less than 24 hours

The room was clean and looked good. The hotel interiors were good as well. The staff were courteous. The location was good - Thanjavur temple is walkable (less than a km, probably not walkable for elder people). The (South Indian) breakfast included in the room rent was pretty reasonable. The restaurant in the hotel had a good menu and we ate from there a couple of times during our 2 day stay.

The hotel is close to the Old Bus Stand. There was a bit of noise coming from that - if you keep the windows closed (as would be tend to do in an A/C room), it was not too bothersome. We had booked a 3 occupancy room for 2 adults and one child with the expectation that we will get an additional bed for the child. However, the extra bed was still charged. I am not sure I understand the purpose of marking the room as 3-occupancy if we have to pay for the bed for the 3rd person.

The rooms were great, and the location was excellent. The service is also good

We had booked room including breakfast, but no one followed or mentioned that.we ended up eating outside for the rest of the stay. The management should have given us info about the bf timings and the amenities. Do ask them about it else they would not tell you.
