Basic Amenities , clean room and bright. Most of all its opposite Grand Batam Mall, hence make it easy for us to cross over to do our shopping. Also the market that sells dried food (Penuin Centre) is just next to the hotel making is very accessible. That was exactly what we wanted, less travel and every thing else is nearby. Even the place for the famous fish soup in (Eatern Food Court)is walking distance, 10-15 mins . Is actually a kopi tiam and very very crowded. Overall we were happy with our stay and enjoyed the breakfast too. The Reception was able to arrange all the 5 rooms in one floor. The room had complimentary coffee machine with Capsule coffee

Perhaps instead of decafe coffee , may be provide normal coffee capsule.

Clean room. Spacious. Got kiblat sign. Front desk very helpful eventhough the rooms still not ready by the time we arrived (3pm). Plenty of food varieties for breakfast. Room service pretty fast. The bed was so comfy. Walking distance to grand batam mall. Near to convenience store. (Circle K and indomaret) . Overall great stay for a first time. For sure will come back in the future.

Book for 3 rooms. Arrived at 3pm but only 1 room are ready. Need to wait about 20-30mins. Its peak season for Gong Xi Fa Chai. Maybe the guests before, late check out. But the front desk was very nice and lovely. Update status of the room every 5-10mins.

Strategic location within walking distance of the mall, wet market, convenience store, big food court and more. Check-in process was seamless and appreciate that we were allowed to check-out slightly later by 1pm. Breakfast buffet had a good local and international spread, with attentive service by staff in clearing your plates when done. In-room TV had a wide variety of channels to watch if you just want to relax in the room after a long day out.

It was unclear if the snacks and drinks were complementary till we called front desk, and my room's do not disturb button was not working and it so happened we got locked out (card was deactivated) after returning to our room at 12pm on our check out day. Luckily there were staff on the level and we managed to enter and quickly prepared to check-out.

Situated in a fantastic location. It close to many amenities such as food, massage parlours and malls. Closest mall is the grand Batam mall which is great for shops, food and entertainment. It is also super convenient for taking grab taxis. Property is extremely well maintained and staff is very polite. Room was very clean and tidy. Tolietries are included such as soap, toothbrushes etc It was a great experience and I would happily stay at ARTOTEL again

New, Clean, Good-sized Room with a King Mattress covered with clean & fresh smelling sheets/linens, Coffee maker that uses capsules, Bidet, & very service-oriented staff that helps, look-out for you, etc. V well-trained ... who's the Service Ambassador ??! :)

Breakfast :- more local fare could have been served ... they were delicious, & everyone wanted to try or have more ... not that the Western Brekky wasn't good ... just wasn't what we came to BATAM for :)

The hotel is new and well maintained. The room are artistic with good furnishing and design layout.

The light are dim, need brighter LED lamps. Downlights are actually nor suitable for Hotel Rooms, because it is only one directional beam. Better to use led lamp with armature and LED Bulb so that the beams of lights to the sides will also brighten the room and ceiling. The pillow were too high. Requested for a flat pillow, but they send the same bulky pillow. The aircon seems not working properly. The fan speed are the same in different setting and the temperature control did not work as well, was too cold although set at 24 and then at 27, it is the same. And when you shut off it goes to 33.C

The location is great and easy to travel around. The market is only a few mins walk away and many shops. The hotel room is clean and spacious enough for 2 of us. Private simple toiletries. But I need to ask for extra toilet paper and a hand towel. Almost instantly you will get the supply. We requested a double single bed and the mattress is clean and comfortable. Overall we are both very happy with our 3 days and 2 nights stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back.

The location was great as you can walk around the hotel area and reach some of the famous restaurants. In front of the hotel is a convenience store so you able to easily get food or hygiene supply during any time of the day. The staff were friendly and polite during the whole stay.

There were only 2 guest lift provided. So you might need to wait for your turn quite often since they are quite a lot of guest staying in this hotel.

Great location, clean rooms, nice breakfast spread. Staff is very friendly and constantly making sure breakfast counters were neat.

Bed room slippers are reusable, I found it a little unhygienic but not a big deal. Concierge is on a different level so it was a bit inconvenient but it is understandable that concierge is on same level as carpark.

Minus one point for not having a clean kettle. The room has a coffee maker (but I think is malfunction). I borrowed a kettle, but did not use it as it was rusty inside. As suggested previously, the management should look into replacing the coffee maker with a clean and usable kettle for guests to have hot drinkable water. Breakfast has quite a good spread.
