The hotel is new and well maintained. The room are artistic with good furnishing and design layout.

The light are dim, need brighter LED lamps. Downlights are actually nor suitable for Hotel Rooms, because it is only one directional beam. Better to use led lamp with armature and LED Bulb so that the beams of lights to the sides will also brighten the room and ceiling. The pillow were too high. Requested for a flat pillow, but they send the same bulky pillow. The aircon seems not working properly. The fan speed are the same in different setting and the temperature control did not work as well, was too cold although set at 24 and then at 27, it is the same. And when you shut off it goes to 33.C

The location is great and easy to travel around. The market is only a few mins walk away and many shops. The hotel room is clean and spacious enough for 2 of us. Private simple toiletries. But I need to ask for extra toilet paper and a hand towel. Almost instantly you will get the supply. We requested a double single bed and the mattress is clean and comfortable. Overall we are both very happy with our 3 days and 2 nights stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back.

There is nothing to complain about this hotel. Happy with our stay.

The location was great as you can walk around the hotel area and reach some of the famous restaurants. In front of the hotel is a convenience store so you able to easily get food or hygiene supply during any time of the day. The staff were friendly and polite during the whole stay.

There were only 2 guest lift provided. So you might need to wait for your turn quite often since they are quite a lot of guest staying in this hotel.

Location, just opposite Grand Mall. Walking distance to Batam City Square. Many eateries and massage parlours around the area.

Minus one point for not having a clean kettle. The room has a coffee maker (but I think is malfunction). I borrowed a kettle, but did not use it as it was rusty inside. As suggested previously, the management should look into replacing the coffee maker with a clean and usable kettle for guests to have hot drinkable water. Breakfast has quite a good spread.

Breakfast was not good at all during my first stay in this hotel . Staff handling check-in are generally ok except for the inflexibility when we requested for interconnecting room as we have elderly parent /children with us who needs care and attention by us. We have indicated it in our request too ! Staff mentioned that it is chargeable in which i have no such issues with other hotels previously booked. Hope your management should look into such request without any charges involved for future bookings . By the way , i am consider a regular at this hotel whenever i go Batam. Have stayed there for 3 times alr and recommended quite a number of my friends to stay at this HOTEL . Overall a good clean hotel .

transport provided is only for SAT / SUN for customer to visit other shopping malls . Hopefully can be extended to weekdays customers .

When I booked Artotel Batam, what I had in mind was just to have a clean accommodation. But the standard in Artotel Batam exceeded my expectation. The bed was super clean. Room neat and clean without much frills. The staff at the concierge was totally helpful when we wanted to leave out bags because we were earlier than the check-in time and we did not want to bring our bags along to play Go-Kart. The ladies at the check-in counter were very courteous and patient even when I asked them so many questions. They were willing to help us take family photo at the lobby. The housekeeping staff did not question me when I asked for extra bottle of water and also shampoo. The staff at the cafe were fantastic too. I celebrated my mom's birthday during breakfast. The staff joined in to sing the birthday song and helped us take photo of the celebration. This is a highly recommended hotel to go to. Actually I am thinking of not writing a review because it will end up with swamps of people flooding to the hotel after reading my review. I want to keep the good things to myself (hee hee). But I must praise all the staff in Artotel Batam. They are excellent.

Actually the only thing I did not like about the hotel is there is sale of vaping gadget. I do not like the idea of a hotel promoting smoking / vaping.

The location is superb, very central, next to eateries and malls. The staff are friendly and helpful. Also love the security with lift only accessible to hotel guest.

The lobby and lounge is not suitable for families or kids (up to age 18). There should be family friendly areas eg: swimming pool, gym/ sauna , rooftop lounge with bbq/ pool table and dart board. Room service food is not that good, etc mango sticky rice which is meant to be served with santan but it was not.

Everything is almost perfect, very pleasant stay, room and bath room are both spacious and spotless, staffs are warm and welcoming, breakfast is great with a good variety of local and asian foods, hotel location is within 3-5 minutes walking distance to Grand Batam Mall and BCS, good insulation on the room door with automatic door closer so those who hated slamming door will appreciate it, a Nespresso-like caffe machine and a little fridge are provided

providing electric kettle will be great, also aircon is not cooling enough even after setting to 16 degree

Love it for the location. Nice coffeeshops, day market and night market, A2 FoodCourt and Opp Grand Batam Mall. Room is new and clean, exactly what I need for a 2yo toddler. Staff are polite, and esp staff at ground floor is very helpful. Even security at carpark was greeting us every time we walk past.

Need to remember to request kettle and switch on the fridge upon check-in. Will be nice to have face towels and hand towels.
