This properly is incredible. Truely something else. Every little detail has been thought of. Every little thing promotes luxury, indulgence and relaxation. We stayed in one of the pool villas and it was perfect. We actually never wanted to leave. loved having the privacy and our own pool but still having the option to go to the main pool area and bar! From the reception staff, to the man (wish I could remember his name) who helped us with some requests, to the restaurant and bar staff, gardeners, cleaners. Every single one the staff was amazing. nothing was a problem and even things we hadn’t thought of ourselves had already been thought about. We also had an in room massage and both my husband and I said it was the best we had ever had! Pondok Santi Estate is something really special. the grounds, the rooms, the food & cocktails. Everything superseded our expectations. We cannot wait to return here. Was the perfect escape from the busyness and from life. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough. i suggest you try the fish tacos, sesame encrusted tuna & ginger sailor. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer. 3 days was not enough!

Absolutely fantastic. Fifth time visiting Gili T and will not be staying elsewhere on return visits. Everything about the property is perfect. Grounds, location, room and food were amazing - pizza was next level. Staff were the best I’ve come across - special mention to Ahyar, Zugi and Yuoha (legend) for taking care of us. With that said, all staff were fantastic, gardeners and housekeeping included - always smiling and friendly. Excellently managed too. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

Nothing. Small suggestion would be to have sensor lights for the bathrooms outside at night.

Wow, what can we say. If we could rate Pondok any higher we would! We have travelled the world and this could quite possibly be our favourite hotel experience. everything from the wonderful staff who can’t do enough for you, to the clean, spacious villas (garden villas are perfectly nestled in the back end of the complex making it so private), to the amazing amazing amazing breakfast and restaurant. We have returned back to Pondok for lunch and dinner, even after we have left, we loved it that much. The pool area is brilliant, relaxing and so close to the beach or your villa. The outside bathroom isn’t for everyone - but it’s authentic!

Everything was perfect! Very good location, nice and clean rooms, breakfast was delicious. We’ll be back!

The property was the perfect choice for me in Gili T. The island has more of a relaxed and young vibe, while the resort offered more privacy and tranquility, what I wanted. The people that work there are dedicated to making your stay one to remember, they know your name and are very friendly and genuine. The room was absolutely amazing, with all the amenities that you could need, lots of space and a nice sitting area outside where you could enjoy breakfast while looking at the estate, an oasis of beauty and peace. The food is very tasty, the breakfast options varied enough. The outdoor bathroom was one of the best things for me with sun lounges and a small garden. The Aloe Vera in the bathroom was a great extra touch. Right across the street from the estate is the beach where you could order drinks or food from the property. I've read a lot of reviews from people saying that the Gili T sunsets are amazing and they were absolutely right. I did not miss one, during my stay as they were magical. One of the best places I have ever stayed in.

The boat trip to and from Gili T, crowded and messy but this has nothing to do with the property. I hope I will be able to visit again.

* Love this place and would highly recommend it * The scale of the grounds here is amazing; so much luscious open space which give all the rooms gorgeous views of the gardens * Breakfast is served by the beach, again with incredible views; idyllic way to start the day * The basic rooms (the bungalows in the gardens) are wonderfully rustic with incredible large verandah's to just chill and relax; all very stylish * Whilst the bedrooms are enclosed (unlike the bathroom) there are a lot of holes in the floorboards etc (as you'd expect in a rustic room like this) - but the hotel come each evening to spray for mosquitoes and set up the nets and light coils * The pool is large and beautiful with a swim up bar; just a shame you can't see the sea from the pool * When we came to leave the hotel were very helpful and efficient in organising our private boat transfer over to our next hotel on an adjacent island

Just tiny things: - the rustic but peculiar way in which the door to the bathroom has to be opened and the steps down to the bathroom make it quite inconvenient in the middle of the night - the property is slightly out of the way if you don't ride a bicycle... just means a bit of a walk into town - really wish the hotel would sell wine by the glass; not wanting to purchase an expensive whole bottle, this meant we ate outside of the hotel more than we would have done otherwise

(1) The staff - very nice and helpful, especially those in charge of the pool bar, of the beach breakfast service, and the massage (the massage ladies are wonderful). (2) The food - ALL dishes are deliciously prepared and served (and are big!). No need to go anywhere else for lunch or dinner. (3) The room - large, clean, and spacious, with the bathroom outside in the typical Balinese style (the aloe vera dispenser is just WONDERFUL). (4) The pool - nice and clean, with a bar very well stocked and served. (5) The breakfast by the beach - exclusive and with a wonderful view.

(1) The telephone number provided by the hotel to Booking.com is wrong. It should be updated. (2) Customers should be advised by the hotel IN ADVANCE on how to get there - boat companies, horse carts, etc. The hotel should provide a complimentary pickup service for its customers at the Gili harbour. (3) Customers should be given a better explanation of how the à la carte breakfast is prepared and served. They should be informed by the that they may have a second coffee if so they want to.

This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Gili was staying at this resort! By far the nicest on the island with the most beautiful suites and location is right next to the beach. We had massages, breakfast at the beach each morning, and also received a special surprise to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff was very helpful, welcoming and showed us amazing hospitality. I was referred by a friend to stay here and I highly recommend to anyone considering. This is definitely the idea stay for couples.

The only thing I would say is we chose "ocean view" for our suite, however, we were closest to the ocean but the water was not at our doorstep. The ocean view was afar rather than close by.

This Resort is outstanding. Set in a beautiful location in the quieter area of Gili T, it has its own beach across the road complete with Beachfront restaurant. It also has beautiful pool area which you can dine at also. The rooms are fantastic especially the larger villas with their own pool. The highlight are the staff who are more than helpful and attend to your every need. Definitely a piece of paradise. The breakfasts are great as is the restaurant food.

Service at beachfront restaurant could be a little slow at times when it gets busy but considering this resort is just recovering from pandemic and are training new staff this is a very small issue which I am sure will will improve with time.
