**Exceptional Stay at Kubu GWK Resort – A Hidden Gem in Uluwatu!** We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kubu GWK Resort, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make we feel welcome. AND STAFF SPEAKING IN ENGLISH!!! The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and Balinese charm. The private pool villa was a true highlight – offering a serene, relaxing escape after a day of exploring the local sights. The location is also fantastic. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a tranquil yet convenient place to stay in Bali. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made this stay memorable.

Staff are very nice and friendly and respect privacy. I liked their swimming pool. For me their location was good since it’s working the local environment which gave me a sense of local like once I get out of the villa, and also close to a shopping mall with restaurants and nice supermarket where I shopped different kinds of fruits, beer and wine, cheez and hams for snacks. Even though the usual laundry service does not offer to wash shoes, they arranged it me for good price and it really helped my days since I only had a parir of nice pair of tennis to wear for my travel back.

I had to move rooms since it was doble Booked at first but they gave me the upgraded one. Then Before I get the room that I actually booked which always a balcony access one, I had to wait in the pool access room for some hours though it was fine since I was gonna swim in the swimming anyways. But I kind of felt that I had to “ask for’ the room that I actually booked for the rearrangement. All sorted out well without having troubles but good information ahead might have helped. In total, definitely good value and worth to stay!

Everything! - Staff are super nice and responsive. Allowed me to have early check in and event upgraded my room to villa without additional payment since there was a problem in Booking.com. - Location is great for Jimbaran area, close to all main attractions but very quiet and calm, walking distance to supermarket and eating places. - Room is spacious and has all amenities needed.

- Cleanliness needs to be improved, but it was not really a big deal for me. - There ara some stray dogs hanging out on the street in front of the resort in the night. they are calm and not aggressive at all, but still kinda frightening to those who have phobia to dogs.

Worth bringing a mosquito net for the huts/cabins

Nice facilities, one of the places in Bali that didn’t feel outdated. Pool was good. As we were 7 adults + 3 kids + 2 babies - it was nice to stay on the first floor rooms, so we chilled outside and had access to the pool all the time.

Pool terrace should be renovated, nails were sticking out from the wooden boards. We were indicating that to the staff - they were fixing each nail seperatly. Also as our rooms were next to each other and table in front of them, one evening we accidentally left 1/2 big bottle of gin (good quality that we purchased in the airport) and in the morning it was taken. We asked for it back in the morning, and there were no sing of it, they were looking even in the garbage. I believe it was taken by someone on purpose.

We loved the gorgeous bungalow resort with the most brilliant facilities! We had robes, slippers, a huge comfortable bed and lovely en-suite! The staff were so friendly and helped us with all of our requested (great laundry service, free water daily and a wonderful swimming pool)! The location is great and it is amazing value for money, I want to come back already!

Kubu is an amazing place quality-money value. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. The location is fantastic because is next to a mall where you can go if you need some groceries or a good restaurant.

If you want to go to uluwatu area, the traffic is very busy in the main hours and you spend quite time to reach it (35-40 min). If not, you can go in 15 min.

The room was really spacious, with a lot of furniture - night table, working table, shelves, and a sitting area in the room, and also in the terrace. You get bathtoom extras - comb, toothbrush and a paste.... Everyday cleaning and changing towels. Nice and friendly staff. Very close to Sidewalk food market and other shops.

Cleanliness of the towels and sheets, a bit distant from the beaches, not so excellent wifi.

The total stay at the resort was 6 weeks. The staff were lovely, and friendly and went out of their way to help when possible. The place was tidy, and the facilities were appropriate for the price and doable for an extended stay. There are grocery shops nearby and the pool area was lovely. It was a nice peaceful place to stay to relax in the sun.

You need to ask for kitchen items when you get there if you want to cook or have plates etc. - it's a basic kitchen.

The hotel is very well maintained. The times we came in we saw the stuff working on improvements and watering the garden. The room was bigger than most rooms in the area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was filling and had 4-5 options. You can order extra food at very reasonable prices. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the beach (15 minutes by bike) but for the price we couldn’t complaint. It was a really good value overall and definitely come back in the future…
