The room had plenty of natural light from the large window. The bed was comfy, the choice of pillows (firm or soft) was great. The shower/toilet area was clean (shower water does leak though through the gap between the shower door), the towels was soft and fluffy, aircon worked well, internet was reliable (though you have to log in with a captive portal - super annoying!!) Breakfast was pretty decent, with many options. Pool was large and clean, though showing some age, with some tiles being loose. Great views of the beach from the rooftop.

No drinking water for guest! The amount of plastic waste by tourists constantly having to buy plastic bottles is horrible, especially in a place like Bali where plastics don’t get recycled. This hotel has a sign in the bathroom about how they are proud of their towel impact. What about reducing plastic waste. Also, in our room, the constant vibration of the aircon was at times annoying.

I stayed at this hotel because I had an overnight stay in Bali, after coming from Lombok to fly to Sydney the next night. What I liked about this hotel was the proximity to the airport, the views from roof-top pool, the basic but usable gym, and the performance of the wifi. Also the bed was really comfortable and the pillows in particular were great. And the free airport shuttle is awesome - it's really professional, the drivers are personable and have excellent English, so you can have a proper conversation with them. The signs that they hold up at the arrivals area are really clear and easy to spot. But the best thing about this hotel was the staff. They looked after my bags between my checkout time and 6pm, when I needed to head to the airport. I had forgotten to book the free airport shuttle back to the airport, which needs at least 3 hours' advance notice. So I was trying to sort out a Gojek to the airport using the last of my Indonesian rupiah, but there were issues with that. The hotel staff were watching me get frustrated, and walked over and talked to me and said that they'd pull a favour and get the shuttle driver here immediately to do a special drop-off for me. This really made my day, and I was bummed out that I didn't have enough local currency left to tip them.

Other guests tend to be a bit inconsiderate by loudly in the hallways outside rooms. It doesn't seem to occur to them that their loud conversation is impacting other guests. But it wasn't too bad, and it's not really something this hotel can do anything about.

Lovely room, comfortable bed. Welcoming, extremely friendly and professional staff (special mention to Ni Ketut Wartini) Fabulous breakfast - exceeded our expectations and we ate in the sister hotel Holiday Inn Resort each night of our stay due to convenience, surroundings and delicious food. The complimentary airport shuttle was a great bonus. We are returning in a few weeks time and used the luggage storage facility which was another added bonus. In relation to our surroundings we used the Telecom shop a few yards across the road to buy sims and other products - the young ladies there are extremely helpful. The spa facilities a few yards away from the hotel, an ATM down the road, turn right and a short distance is a bank and the local small supermarkets for bits and pieces.

Not the hotel's fault but other guests used the hotel room corridors for social chats during the early morning and late at night with no consideration for other guests even though there are quite signs throughout. There could be a few more sun loungers/umbrellas by the pool - the pool is fab.

Close to beach , lovely pool, great to have laundrette . Great shower

Breakfast wasn’t the best for gluten free

The staffs were super friendly.. Location is at the outskirt of Kuta, very near to the beach, which means that you get to enjoy Kuta beach, but doesn't have to be stuck in the traffic jam in and out of Kuta. Oh and one more, the rooftop pool is a gem..

The room can use more noise insulation.. We can hear our next door neighbour speaking Chinese and because we're quite close to the lift, every time someone get out from the lift to their room, we can hear their chit chat along the corridor. But when you're fast asleep in the comfy bed, these problems no longer matters.

Felt quite spacious for a small hotel room. Shower door was a bit cumbersome to open, but the shower itself was spacious and had good water pressure and was well-solated from the toilet area. White sand beach was clean and not crowded, about 5 minutes walk via the IHG resort. Rooftop pool was satisfactory and towels provided etc. Gym was satisfactory and well air-conditioned with music, and well furnished although small, but not enough for 2 people to work on same machines at any one time.

Not able to use next-door IHG resort facilities despite obviously being almost same hotel, but I guess we are paying different fees. Restaurant food was expensive, and are delivered from the just-mentioned next-door IHG resort, so there is no room service, and you have to collect it yourself from the reception.

the cleanliness of the facility and the comfortness of the bed and pillows. Most hotels have smelly pillows, surprisingly, Holiday Inn Express smells so clean. Had a good and comfortable sleep. I like how staffs checks how their service is , or if we need anything further. This should be rated 5 star with the services shown by staffs.

Something wrong with the Airport Transfers. We were picked up an hour late, and the drop off , we took the 7pm, driver arrived 20mins after. When we were told to be in the lobby 10mins earlier, before our booked time. This is the only disappointment, but I think the transfer is contracted from outside.

The staff was courteous and property is well located between Jerman beach and Kuta beach. The walk to the Jerman beach is just 50-60 footsteps from the property. The swimming pool has a great view overlooking the ocean

I reviewed this hotel before and I have no stayed here 3 times, I guess that tells you something. This place is great for value for money. The staff are incredible and the rooms are comfortable, clean and big enough. The rooftop pool is very relaxed even though the beach is nearby. Breakfast is fine and the coffee is good. Will book again! I like the location as well. Not in the crowded area of Kuta but on the side and yet still at the beach and with plenty of restaurants around. Kuta Centre is easy to walk to or you can book a Grab.

Well the only thing which is a bit stupid LOL is the door to the shower. It opens in such a way that the floor in the bathroom easily gets wet. It's just a design flaw and not a big deal, but you do need a towel to keep that area dry. Anyway if that's the only thing that bothered me then this is a pretty great place ain't it?

Pool on the roof is well located, STUNNING view and nice sun beds of 4 star quality. Food & drinks you can order are well cooked and great value. Nice to be able to get something to eat even though there's no restaurant on site. Breakfast is one one of the best breakfasts we've ever had at any stay. Staff are exceptional and genuinely friendly.

Would have liked to have known from day one that you could order bacon and hash browns at breakfast. Didn't realise we wouldn't get help taking our bags to the room, but it was so easy to get around it didn't matter.
