We were just looking for somewhere to crash for one night after our boat trip before heading to the airport in the morning. It doesn’t look like much and is a bit further out of the centre but that didn’t matter. The room was spacious, clean, bed was big and comfy, AC worked well and we had a really great sleep with no bugs in sight so no complaints!! One thing to note is we booked this place after seeing reviews that they offered a free drop off at the airport however they told us this service cost 70k IDR, seemingly the standard price to/from the airport. This place was expensive in comparison to a lot of the places we have stayed across Indonesia but it seems you have to pay a bit more in Labuan Bajo to be comfortable and secure so it was worth it. We’d highly recommend the pizza place down the road called “Fella’s”, one of the best and cheapest pizzas we have ever had and perfect comfort food after a few days island hopping !

-Staff ++ -Clean place. They clean the room everyday and left water bottles everyday. - Provide coffee and toast every mornings. -Away from the noise. Quiet hotel.

15-20 min walk from the PORT. (Less than that to be in the central place with stores/groceries/diveshops,etc) was not an issue because it is the only way to rest at night. (That was not an issue, reasonable walk time to be in the center)

We had a really lovely stay at the Kalton. Our king room was really spacious with plenty of space to hang/store belongings and the bed was really comfortable (it was nice to have two pillows each). The bathroom was spacious and clean and shower was hot and powerful. They let us take a kettle and coffee cups up to our room which was nice. Also appreciated the water cooler in the lobby. The staff were really nice and the free airport pick-up was much appreciated (we paid 70k for airport drop off). We didn’t mind the walk to the centre at all - it was around 10 minutes and there are plenty of shops very near the hotel too.

N/a re the property but I found the inconsistency of whether airport pick up and drop off were included for free confusing (some people mentioned they paid both ways, some had free ride both ways). would be good if hotel clarified the policy on the description.

Large room with a big comfortable bed. Nice and clean. 2 bottles of water replaced every day, unlike a lot of places. Good soundproofed rooms with a large walk in shower. Well priced with good strength wifi. Aircon is satisfactory, could be colder and more powerful, but then again most places seem to be the same. Staff are friendly and helpful. A bonus, the airport pick up and drop off is free. Which is a nice touch. The hotel is only about 10 minutes or so from the airport. A bit further out of town than some other places, but I liked that, it was quieter. Only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town and a Mini Market only 5 minute walk for water, snacks, etc.

Couple of cracks in the wall and no real view from the window I had, but I went for a cheaper room at the at the back of the hotel. Both are minor things and didn't detract from a good room or my high rating. No breakfast to speak of, just toast, but they are building an extension to the hotel at the moment, so the kitchen probably isn't up and running yet. I'm not a huge breakfast eater so was fine for me. Regarding the building work on the extension. They seem to have done most of the major work already so there was some noise but nothing seriously noisy while I was there and as I said, the rooms seem to be well soundproofed. So wasn't an issue.

pros: location is just within walking distance from the city center, but a bit out of the way from the pier. AC works, as well as hot water. WiFi also works although you have to ask for new password every day. bed was comfy, we also like the cleanliness of the hotel

breakfast was basic but not a problem for us since we always look for brekkie outside of the hotel anyway

Excellent quiet location, just a short walk to the town where there are numerous restaurants. Room big, bed comfortable, powerful shower and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Basic breakfast of tea, coffee and toast available.

Nice big rooms. Staff super friendly. Room cleaned daily. Great hot shower. Good location, away from the noise but close enough to walk into the centre.

I would have liked a kettle and a small fridge in the room.

Very attentive staff, spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. Great local restaurant next door.

The breakfast buffet only had toast with jam and peanut butter, no Indonesian option.

The mattress. It’s a good place for a night. If you are staying for more days maybe a hotel with a nice view, this is a really standard hotel with very comfy beds and clean.

The hotel and the room were very clean. Comfy bed, a useful desk, a balcony, big shower with hot water. The breakfast was a little poor but I enjoyed it anyway. The staff can't really speak English but they're very kind. Not too far from the center but also a little outside from everything else.
