This estate is perfectly located for a trip to the north of Bali. Stunning from the balcony of the room and the pool, which is as beautiful as it looks on the picture. With the scooters that you can rent at the estate, the lakes and the villages in the north are all very feasible to reach. The breakfast was good. in the street behind the estate there are some very good Warungs to enjoy food and a drink.

We indicated that we wanted to rent the same scooter we filled with gas the next day. When we went to the reception to get the scooter, it was gone and there was no possibility to get another one. We were refered to a scooter rental 5 minutes away to arange our own scooter. Similarly, when we tried to arrange a taxi to our next stay, we we only offered a in our opinion very expensive ride that we refused. Consequently, they didn't help us any further, which left us with a feeling of being stuck. In both incidents we would have appreciated a bit more support, especially in this more difficult to reach part of the island.

The view from the balcony is unbeatable. The people are super friendly and helpful. So convenient to do the walks from the hotel. They gave me a small map at the reception of hikes in the area.massages are available right at the property. I was doubting whether I should go to Munduk since it’s a bit far, but oh boy was it my favourite part of Bali trip, I regretted I only stayed for 2 days.

Do not expect super cleanliness or luxury for the amount of money you pay for this room. But the hospitality and views are unbeatable

Beautiful pool overlooking fabulous greenery. The rooms are on split levels. Private balcony with 2 chairs and a table allows you to sit comfortably and take it all in. Restaurant has 2 levels, top level offers a good view over the ‘valley’. Food is excellent, service is quite slow, however that’s part of the charm of Munduk - to stop the clock. Beds were comfy with lovely soft bedding and duvet. A lovely, serene property in a beautiful part of the world.

Bathroom is fairly dark as it is positioned at the back of the room, however there are good lights in the rooms

The room is very rustic and basic with a comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the jungle and the mountain with stunning views in the morning when the sky is clear. The bathroom is open towards the jungle. The pool and the garden are very nice with lots of lovely flowers. There is a note in the bathroom saying you should wait about 30 minutes after one person takes a shower for the water to heat up and we were a bit worried, but the shower worked well. We didn't have high expectations given the price, so we were happy with our choice.

Because of high humidity, the towels wouldn't dry and were not changed. We only stayed for 2 nights, so no big drama. Probably we could've asked for fresh ones. If you have the American breakfast (which is a good choice), i recommend not to eat the mayonnaise on the salad as the 3 of us who did, had the stomach deranged. Luckily, it wasn't too bad.

The views from the balcony and the restaurant are absolutely amazing, the staff is very helpful and responsive (and arranged a lot of transport at resonance prices for us) and the rooms are very comfortable. So on the rooms we had two in the newer building and one deluxe one , the former are very comfortable with a lot of space, co for table beds and ‘open’ bathroom which is very fun. The deluxe room is less comfortable, I’d definately go for the others if possible. There is also a decent spa and a nice looking pool but we haven’t tried it. The location is amazing, km 0 ie centre of the village and also the start of the hiking path to one of the coolest waterfalls (you can then continue and see 3 others through the forest - amazing walk and relatively easy except the heat).

Really lovely, quiet and clean location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, the pool had a nice view and the food was great. We did a waterfall/rice terrace trekking tour with a guide arranged by the staff and it was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend anyone to stay at this location as well when visiting the Munduk area. But, like the other place in Bali (tropical island), there were some insects & bugs, mostly in rainy season or very hot weather. I guess they are looking for a shelter, but that's totally fine for me.

The room was large and very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the gardens and mountains. There were mosquito nets toiletries and thoughtful touches. The views, extensive garden and the infinity pool were stunning, flowers, colourful butterflies and dragon flies darting everywhere. It had a massage pavilion beside a natural waterfall. Staff were very helpful and breakfast good. Did not try restaurant as low season so choice was limited but lots of great alternatives near by.

Not really a dislike . There was no air-con or fridge and it is a small village so no ATM However it was cooler in the mountains so fan only was fine and if we had asked they may have offered to refrigerate our water

Loved the size of the deluxe double room and the view from the balcony was the best that I have ever had anywhere that I have stayed. The infinity pool was peaceful and I had it all to myself. The view from the top of the restaurant was beautiful. Landscaping of the gardens added to the beauty along with the little waterfall. The staff were so happy and welcoming. I stayed for 11 nights and it was very hard to leave.

The location is amazing - very central and the views are exceptional. The view from my room far surpassed any photos/anything I could have imagined. The room was large and mosquito net was a bonus! Loved the balcony, was so relaxing to read on if it rained. The pool was amazing & tranquil. Very very good value for money. Fridge & bottles of water in room was a plus. I will come back to stay for sure!!

As I didn’t ride a motor bike I found it harder to get around without being charged a lot (no grab or gojek, paid double than in other areas). This was fine as I walked or was kindly offered lifts outside the hotel. Water & beer from restaurant weren’t cold. The staff were hit and miss - not rude but not super friendly. Bathroom was a large size but shower head twisted when in use so the water sprayed everywhere and into the toilet behind me, not a big issue if you don’t mind your bathroom being saturated haha. All in all, still good value for money :)

The staff was welcoming and very nice. The location was perfect, close to the waterfall starting point, to some great warungs and supermarkets We had a nice balcony with a view to the beautiful nature around. The room itself is also nice. They arranged us a motorbike in a decent price.

The bathroom was in a bad condition and bad smell. The towels also weren't clean. You should note the hot water in the shower enough for a short shower and than you need to wait some time for the next one (for us it was ok since they informed us about it so we managed our time). Another downside was the fact that we slept on the ground floor and could hear everything from the room above us. It was hard to sleep , and we felt every step of them.
