Brand new hotel. The location is great and the property is beautiful! Amazing view! The beds are very comfortable and the quality of the build is very good. Beautiful ambient lighting in the evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I booked the room because it had a beautiful, big bath tub. There was not enough hot water to fill it. The water became cold less than 1/4 of the tub, so we couldn’t use it. For an expensive hotel, they don’t have a coffee machine and they serve cheap, powdered orange juice. It’s costs 150k IDR to buy a blender and offer fresh juice. The breakfast was incredibly cheap and not tasty. Very disappointing.

The location is on the top of the hill, the hotel provided a pickup from the port, which was a good bonus. It’s only 5-7 min driving. But there is nothing around the hotel if you like walking. There is nothing to do on the island without a scooter or taxi. The room and the pool and the territory were amazing, the stuff was kind and helpful.

The breakfast was really small. You can have just one meal from the menu. Basically, that’s eggs of omelet with two pieces of bacon, five peace’s of fruits, coffee/tea and juice. The choice is very poor. We also had dinners in the hotel as there was nothing around where it’s possible to eat safely. Chicken satay was amazing. But we also ordered burger and seafood and that was horrible!!! Not eatable. So some dishes they made delicious and some not. Also there is only black coffee, no other choice. I asked cappuccino and they brought me an instant coffee from the packet….horrible.

The amazing views as seen on photos of booking.com did not disappoint, it simply stunning! The hotel is newly built and as such, all the facilities are brand new and look amazing (rooms are huge) The staff was very friendly and always available. Also the breakfast was very good!

You can see that the hotel is newly built, the garden was still under construction and beneath the pool random wheelbarrows filled with sand or building materials would be scattered.

We had an amazing time at The Kama. The staff was so kind - they provided pick up from the port and they helped with any question we might have. They also provided scooter rental opportunity which was a great way of exploring Nusa Penida. Our room was spacious and loved the view from our balcony overlooking to the ocean. We also really enjoyed relaxing by the infinity pool. Breakfast was great - good selection of food with fruits, juices and fantastic pancakes :) Tried lunch/dinner offering as well which was also really good. The place is highly recommended - would book it again when visiting Bali in the future.

At the time of booking I had clearly mentioned that I will be staying with my two kids which required extra bedding for which I was ready to pay additional charges . But to my surprise it was denied at the time of check in . We had come from india and it wasn’t feasible for me to make last minute arrangements instantly for another accommodation. Which I felt could have been accommodated by the staff . It took a lot of hassle for me to book another hotel and stay there for night and leaving my two kids staying here alone. My suggestion is you should be considerate enough for such instances.

Location and staff were amazing. Breakfast was on point. Property is fantastic.

Food was average. The fish on the menu was frozen tuna and not fresh daily catch which is disappointing for an island destination. There is no phone line in the room to call the reception. Room service involves you going down to the reception and telling them what you want. They do not have generator back up for power outages which is not acceptable for the price bracket of the property. Taxi drivers provided by the establishment are not the most professional . For example yelling profanities at a motorcyclist ( who did deserve it ) despite there being children in the car.

A great small boutique hotel with a good location and amazing views over the sea and volcano. Very quiet. Pool is also very nice and never too busy. But the best is the staff! They are so polite and always willing to help with everything! A big thank you to Wayan and the rest of the reception team to make my stay unforgettable and also a big thank you to my driver Edy. I had two beautiful tours around the island with him. He is also amazing! Coming back soon!

The hotel has been built with very cheap materials and you can already see some things are damaged or need maintenance. Also the rooms are big but look very empty. I think they run out of money when they had to furnish them.

We spent our Christmas at The Kama and it was wonderful. The resort is managed by super attentive and kind staff who are ready to help in any moment. The atmosphere and the location itself is pristine, with high quality rooms and gorgeous designs. The food was also really good, we only ate breakfast there, but everything tasted very delicious.

The only issue we faced was that one of the drains in our room (7) smelled quite bad, but we didn't complain as we only stayed for 2 nights, it was okay. But other than this improvement point, the resort is fantastic and I would absolutely stay here again!

The facility is honestly beautiful with and amazing infinity pool and a really nicely furnished room. The bed is very comfortable and a really big bathroom. The staff was super helpful with us, we had a problem with leaving the island because of a storm and they were super helpful into allowing us a late check-out and arranging another boat ticket through an alternative harbour.

I think in generql the quality of the food offered could be increased. There were not many gluten free options but the chef used the gf bread we had with us to adapt some plates.

Loved our stay at The Kama! Apart from the view being so breathtaking, the hotel itself was calm and very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure we have everything we needed - we also rented a scooter from them! The breakfast is great and we had dinner there both nights we stayed which was also great value for money. They have a driver that works for the hotel so the pick up from the harbour was included, and we went on a snorkelling trip that the hotel organised which was great! Really recommend it, it’s in a good place to be able to explore the east side of the island one day and then the west side another day!

Nothing bad to say!
