The service was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were treated like royalty during our stay. The rooms are really nice and new. There were surprisingly very few mosquitoes, I think I didn’t even get bitten once at the resort, apparently they fog the resort everyday.

It’s a lil far from the ferry terminal. It took us 45 mins to 1 hour to get to the resort from Tanjung Pinang ferry terminal. We went on a long weekend with the horde of tourists from Singapore, and immigration was kinda rough.

Everything! It’s clean. Staff were very efficient and friendly. They arrive with buggy almost instantly upon your request. They even had milk bottle sterilised although I don’t need it. There were just 2 restaurants but it is sufficient for our 4d3n trip as they have a wide selection of food. Not to mention the awesome buffet breakfast. The spread was crazy and they had 5 live stations in the morning! Very impressed by everything about this place!

We woke up to half dead cockroach in the morning for 2 consecutive day. I guess the insect repellent near the sliding glass door worked but the cockroach spoiled my mood. Haha. We casually mentioned it to our buggy driver on the 2nd morning and they immediately sent the housekeeper to check. It is still a very clean resort and because we are staying in the villa, pests sometimes are unavoidable and I understand that hence still giving 10/10 for this place because of the exceptional service!

Staff were all very friendly. Had the best massage from Detty at the spa and our kids enjoyed the farm tour with Kiki with animal feeding and fresh fruit cutting Also enjoyed the water sports - jet ski, kayaks and banana boat The private BBQ in our villa was excellent - great selection and delicious food. We also enjoyed the dinner at Ricu Ricu Appreciated the late check out as our ferry departure was later in the day

Add local food options at the pool bar - only Western options were available, would have been nice to have nasi goreng and mee goreng on the menu The dining room is quite hot at breakfast time, especially when it is crowded The food at the beach BBQ was not great (meat and fish were overcooked)

Beautifully designed, large spacious 2 bedroom villa that easily accomodated our family of 8. Excellent facilities, with so many varied things to do - we really spent almost our whole vacation in the resort alone and our kids well entertained by the kids room, games room, ATV / archery/ shooting zone. They even had a little farm tour with bunnies to feed daily. Food at the restaurant was pretty good, though very pricey for local standards Not many biting insects (eg sandflies or mosquitoes), which was a big bonus Private buggies only a phone call away to every part of the resort, but individual bikes were also provided per unit to get around Excellent service from the staff, they were always super helpful and responsive to any queries

Location was quite isolated from the town center and many of the common tourist spots. The beach had coarse sand, and was quite shallow, so largely only suitable for wading (as opposed to other hotels where it is possible to snorkel and play a variety of sea sports)

very accommodating and friendly staff and the property is amazing giving a true relaxing vibe! All the staff went beyond their job functions! from the receptionists, shuttle driver, resto and spa members and those assigned in the activities! as in all the staff are really amazing! we felt so safe and at home during our whole stay! i initially indicated that it's our 2nd anniversary and the residence bintan gave us a memorable celebration, when we arrived at the hotel, they have prepared a greeting in our room, with a small cake! not just a slice but a small square cake which is more than what we can take. 😅 not just that! almost every time we went out we were amazed of how the staffs treat every guests! we really feel the exclusive and high end service given by the staffs. they have alot of activities prepared not just for adults but most especially for kids or young at heart! we even told our friend who recommended us to stay at the residence to also try the residence since they have a toddler and they did visited the resort after 2 weeks and also shared the same amazing feedback to us! thank you The Residence Bintan! if given a chance, will definitely go back. ;)

This is our second trip to the Residence. I loved the ambiance, tranquility, the quality of the facilities and my family and i loved the food. The staff is super attentive and accommodating. I was able to even get remote work done as there are many quiet places and a big desk in the room. We also were glad to upgrade to a private pool. Totally worth it!

Nothing I didn’t like but I wish there were more activities on offer for adults and kids. The kids club is fine for little kids but not so much tweens. For adults, simple things like free/low-cost organized game nights, Bahasa classes would be fun. My kids were also sad that with low tide the kayaking was not an option.

We are still having post holiday withdrawal symptom from this trip! We've stayed for a total of 8 knights and love every single day of it. Staffs - Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We communicated via WhatsApp and their response has always been so prompt! Appreciate how they've also made a point to remember your names and sometimes even your room number! Appreciate the daily kuehs to the room accompanied by bedtime stories (it is a lovely touch) Thank you for also surprising us with the delicious kueh dar dar to bring home! I love it! Facilities/Activites - Initially we felt 8 nights were too long for a resort holiday but we were so wrong. The facilities here were lovely and self sufficient. We absolutely enjoyed the water and land activities, pool bar and swimming pool. My toddler really enjoyed the kids club (he really loves the staffs there), farm, beach and swimming pool. We truly appreciate the different workshops conducted by the resorts such as towel making, coffee tasting and daily morning yoga (it was really a great way to start the day). Although the location was a little far from jetty it was worth the travel as my family had a blast at The Residence Bintan. We will definitely return!

2nd time here and everything is still brilliant! The resort is a lot further than most resorts in Bintan, but it's definitely worth it. Facilities are ample, service is impeccable, food is great, and everyone greets you with a warm smile and you just feel so welcome. They keep you updated on the resorts' happenings via WhatsApp and communicate with you mainly via the app as well for your own convenience (so you don't have to walk to the phone in the room to call them or walk to the front desk etc.). Some of the honourable mentions go out to the Reservations team who helped me out prior to my stay, the 2 ladies at the Front Desk - Feronica and Grace, along with the very friendly concierge team - specifically Tono! They really made our stay extra special!

The variety of food at the coffee house (for lunch and dinner) might get a bit repetitive after a few days, but the quality of the food is still really really good!

Villa we stayed at is gorgeous. Bathroom is huge and well-designed and well-equipped. Love it. Gym and yoga room is well maintained- we had a good time using these 2 facilities. Same goes for the spa! Private and comfortable and masseurs are really good and thoughtful. Didn’t get to use the bikes provided for each villa coz ours is always missing and we didn’t want to use our neighbours bikes. It’s a nice idea though. Love the sea sports - went out on the catamaran n kayak. With the jet skis were working.

Wish there are more snacks offered at the shop, including instant noodles on days where we just wanna have our comfort food. Shampoo and body wash are too diluted and have to keep pumping to use more n more.

Exceptional 3D2N stay, huge deluxe beachfront villa with a private pool, we enjoyed the room even on a rainy day. The Indonesian restaurant - Rica Rica was excellent! We enjoyed walking the beach at low tide and discovered many interesting sea creatures. Service was excellent everywhere! Lovely pool with bar - would be nice if there is an attractive Happy Hour Promotion. Love the luscious space with a nice recreational room, gym and farms. Bicycles are provided for every room so we have no limitations in exploring the space.

International buffet could improve in terms of the spread and the taste of the food.
