Villa was beautiful, comfortable and staff very friendly - drive you to beach if you want. Everything we wanted. Nice being on the edge of a village. Peaceful.

There’s still construction work going on! Place is not finished. There was a site full of building materials next to our place which was unsightly and occasionally noisy. Swimming pool also didn’t seem “finished”. Algae on walls, swim up bar closed because of a pool leak, now dusty and dirty. All felt quite home made. Very different standard from the beautiful villas. Breakfast was repetitive after a few days, could have more choice.

ALL ! First of all the amazing staff, always helping and taking care. The villas are amazing and even better than the pictures. The breakfast was fresh and had big portions. We loved the private cooking class. The list is long, but it's definitely the best resort we booked in Indonesia.

The activities prices are too high. Even if you have a lot of money, you don't see the point of spending extra money for the same tours you can find nearly half the price in town. I'm sure the resort could easily retain and build clients loyalty by proposing activities with fair prices.

Big positive is the staff, always nice and willing to help. Shuttle service to the beach is nice. The resort itself is a great place for relaxing, the eating pavilion (breakfast, lunch and dining) is Wonderfull. Food and breakfast is good (but you need to pay a small extra for extra choices for breakfast). Some good dining options in the neighbourhood (+- 1 km) - careful for the traffic on the roads. The villa has drinking water and a good fridge. The terrace and private swimming pool are ok.

We rented a 2 bedroom villa. We needed to contact house keeping a couple of times because of lack of cleanness of bedsheets and towels. Positive, they were almost instantly replaced. The villa itself lacks some maintenance and small things keep popping up. Jacuzzi not working, no thee cups, toiletpaper not replaced, .... But again, once contacted, everything is taken care of in minutes. So a big thumbs up for the staff. The big swimming pool in the resort is not inviting and hardly used. The swimming pool bar is not open. 1 remark for the location. Beach is 1 km from the resort with shuttle service, but you need to travel (long!) for the other main "what to do's'.

The staff is what makes this place exceptional! Originally we booked for 4 nights but extended to 10 days as we really enjoyed our stay here. The bungalows were comfortable and clean and spacious. The restaurant on site was 10/10, some of the best food we had in Asia. The pool was cold, great for hot days. Short walk to the beach or they have a free shuttle service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. Lots of upgrades going on around the resort so we will definitely be back again.

We stayed in Villa Lucas and it was incredible! It was HUGE! It had 2 beautiful bedrooms with ensuites, the kitchen was lovely and actually included an oven and the outdoor space included a massive private pool and great seating area! The staff went above and beyond to make a cake and buy decorations for my friends birthday which we were celebrating on a boat after we'd check out. I was extremely grateful! Thank you so much!

I wish I could say nothing but we had to extend our stay so moved to another villa and it wasn't to the same standard. Unfortunately it was a bit run down and needed a bit of TLC. Its also worth being aware that it's about a 30 minute drive in Kuta and taxis are expensive so is probably worth hiring a bike or car. There is a great local beach and a few lovely restaurants walking distance though ☺️

The accommodation itself was excellent - apartment / bungalows were spotless, modern and spacious with a nice pool. Good Indonesian / Western breakfast options. Location was good - short walk or free shuttle to a fantastic beach with great bars / restaurants. What stood out was the service - all staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We were there for my daughter's birthday and the team went above and beyond to make sure she had a great day.

Unfortunately there was some construction work on the neighbouring property, so a little noise in the evening - however this was not too disruptive

Our villa (5) was perfect. Lots of space, a well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and a beautiful pool area. We liked that you could order food to the villa. We also liked that communication with the staff was done through WhatsApp- they were very responsive. It was easy to get the shuttle to the beach.

The main pool area is very rundown (this didn’t matter to us as we had a private pool) and we didn’t see it being used at all. Breakfast was very slow to arrive. Also the two-tier breakfast ordering seems unnecessary. I suggest you either include breakfast or don’t include breakfast rather than having some items included and others as extras.

The Tropik Villa was a relaxing and peaceful place to recharge. It was exactly what we had hoped for with two marvellous private beds and bathrooms and one lovely lap pool. There was a big TV for watching Netflix and the free wifi was great. The staff were friendly and room service was prompt and tasty. We used the laundry service and this was exceptional, leaving our clothes smelling clean and fresh. The main entrance was architecturally stunning with curved bamboo revealing onto a paddock with cows, chickens and dogs. The sports room had a billiard table, darts and TV. The a la carte breakfast was good with options of American, healthy, continental and another. We also enjoyed the local facilities- the Surf Spa five minutes walk away and the Beach which was a 15-minute walk or by hotel shuttle. The hotel organised tours or activities on the beach, but we were keen to rest onsite. We would happily come again.

The villa had only a few things to improve. Our jacuzzi wasn't working and needed a clean so we couldn't use it unfortunately. The mosquitoes crept into the bedroom, even with the doors closed and the net down, which resulted in being bitten lots. It would be appreciated if repellent or citronella candles could be provided to assist deterring them. The main pool bar also didn't seem to be operational, perhaps because of the low season or there wasn't anyone swimming in it when we visited.

The breakfast options were flexible with the option for Indonesian breakfast available if a western was not to your liking....as we preferred. We loved the Nasi or Me Goreng and the breakfasts were fresh and easy...fruit, fruit just freshly made, coffee...everything you needed. The eating area is spacious and beautiful.

Some fly shoo devices could be helpful at times...although not a lot of flies there were a couple times and shoo devices help. At busy times asking guests to preorder their breakfast preferences and time would help get them prepared more efficiently.

Pleasant staff with good whatsapp service Clean room with good aircon Quiet area so sleep not interrupted Selong belanak beach is great for beginners surfing and sunsets. It is worth spending 1 or 2 nights in this area.

Food is average but not inedible Location is a bit out of the way but they do offer free drop Offs etc There is not a huge amount to do in this area so a short stay is best There is lots of construction work at the hotel but that is standard everywhere in Indonesia and we were warned beforehand We didnt use the pool and it appeared no one else was either!!
