Location: The hotel is located in a very quiet area in South Lombok. From Bangsal Port it took us about 1.5-2 hours to get to the hotel. The hotel is located right at the beach front and is as of Sept 2024 the only hotel at this beach, which is its major advantage. It is a really quiet place, easy to relax and calm down. If you look for a quite place to escape in paradise Amber is a 10/10. Accommodation: The rooms, pool area, dining area, reception, gym and Spa as well as the beach front itself are build with lots of little details that have amazed us right away. Everything is build in a minimalistic way but yet still very comfy. 10/10 Activities: Although is located quite in the middle of „nowhere“, there are lots of things to do. You can book lots of trips to waterfalls, snorkeling, or fishing with the hotel. We booked a surfing lesson at Selong Belanak Beach with a local surfschool organized by Amber. It was great fun and a really good spot for beginners. Renting a scooter and exploring the surrounding was a blast as well. We did 2 Spa treatments as well and felt great afterwards. Nothing less than 10/10 Kitchen/food: A mixture of national (rice dishes, fresh fish) and international (pasta, pizza, burger) cuisine is served. The food was especially for the prices top notch, here again kudos to the chef as it was really fine dining at the beach front for affordable prices. There are multiple options for vegetarians in the menu as well. We tried the menu up and down and did not have a bad experience at all. Very delicious. 10/10 Service: The service was simply great, everyone was smiley and happy, we had a great time. Independent of the reception, restaurant, pool area, Spa, security or gardeners, everyone was really kind and offered their help at all times.

We stayed at Amber Resort Hotel from the 14th to the 19 th of December. We had a great time there and we enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was fine. The room was kept very clean; it was lovely to have cold and hot drinks in the room. The staff was very helpful and attentive to us. I would like to mention Adi who was exceptional. He would explain all the sites to visit in Lombok and activities to do. We followed his advice and thanks to him, we enjoyed so much being in Lombok. He could well be an organizer for places to visit, he’s amazing and he knows his island very well. A special thanks to him. Ronie was great as well and he helped us in many ways, advising us too. A very warm Thanks to him as well. Ali and Alejandro were helpful to us as well. We had a marvelous stay thanks to everybody working in the hotel. Thanks to everyone.

This is the third time I have come to this hotel with my family and friends and it is always so exceptional. A perfect stay! The hotel is beautiful, very well located and impeccably clean. The staff is very attentive, always smiling and ready to help, especially the employees Rina and Ardy, Professional and attentive, they really made the difference and made our experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the restaurant was excellent with very good service, especially the best waiter is called Lalu Adha, remarkably attentive and kind throughout the meals. A big thank you to all the staff for this moment, we will come back with pleasure, I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation!

The resort is situated next to one of the more beautiful beaches we saw traveling Bali and Lombok. The location is really remote, there's no other hotels and only a handful of houses nearby. Which is great for relaxing and soaking up the beautiful nature, but I'd keep my stay on the shorter end. The resort is nicely designed and well maintained throughout. The pool and restaurant area is especially gorgeous. There are plenty of comfy sunbeds, some facing the pool, some facing the beach. There are none on the beach itself though. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. There's a wide range of high quality food options, though it was the most expensive hotel restaurant we had during our travels. Also there are no other food options nearby. Breakfast is a great mix of buffet and a la carte with a wide variety of options. We paid 60€/night for a spacious room with access to a large semi private pool shared with two more rooms. We liked the minimalistic interior design and the large bathroom, although they really should add more storage space. They have their own transport service, shout out to our awesome driver Marco. Overall it's a great deal and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

They add an excessive extra 10% tax and 11% service charge to the already high prices by Indonesian standards. Added separately, so it comes out to ~22% on top. Local warungs mostly include everything in the price, other restaurants charge 10-15% at most. I was initially positively surprised that they had a small air-conditioned gym. Unfortunately the single treadmill was broken, the belt was slipping heavily. Since that's really dangerous for an unsuspecting user, I immediately told the front desk about it. The next day it was still the same and they didn't even block it off.

The most amazing place. It's so peaceful compared to the loud noises in Kuta, the beach is great and even the snorkeling is not bad. The staff is super absolutely amazing and the food is surprisingly really tasty. The resort is quite built in the middle of nowhere, and for this they did a great job. Showers are hot, internet is fast, food fresh and the spa super well done. If you aren't happy here, then your expectations are maybe a bit over the top I'd say. For me, this is an oasis. Love staying here, stayed before and will stay again. The staff, from the reception (Karin, Edi, Rizal,...) to the restaurant (Diaz, Ari, Nurul, Alen,...) and others are truly the best. Thank you!

We absolutely loved this property! We will definitely be staying here again in future. It's very secluded and quiet in the area which is just what we needed to relax! Staff were fantastic and very helpful with everything we needed.

The property is immerse in the flora of Lombok. It’s a very quite surrounding by the beach. The staff is really really nice - shout out to Nick and Lalu from the restaurant. The place is a nice compromise if you want to enjoy a quite environment with friendly staff. Would be nice to have this turn into a “adults only” resort and something was quite intense being surrounded by kids around the pool.

On a very personal side, I would suggest to have more vegan option both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Being the property far away for any town/conglomerate it’s very hard to walk somewhere and have dinner so it would be nice to have more options.

We stayed 4 nights at Amber and we wished to stay even longer. When we arrived, we knew this is the place to be for us. It was super nice to be directly at the beach, having a nice restaurant, a nice pool, clean beach. Traveling with a 6 months old baby was super easy here and we enjoyed the time as family at amber. Especially if you travel with baby’s or young child’s this is definitely a nice resort to stay directly at the beach. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Especially Rina was super helpful for us, supporting us during our stay in any kind of questions, recommendations. She was always happy to help, if we needed something. A great personality, friendly, happy and open minded. We both can also recommend the SPA. The massage was very good and the price is also fair. The food in the restaurant is very good, and you have enough options to choose different food on different days. There is nothing that we would miss, it was all in all a perfect experience. We definitely would recommend this place and would come again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Amber Lombok Beach Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire property. The service was exceptional—the staff were genuinely friendly, professional, and always eager to help. One of the standout features was the beach right at your doorstep. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to take a morning stroll on the soft sand was pure bliss. The pool area was relaxing, with comfortable loungers and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The hotel also has, a gym, a spa, and an on-site restaurant right on the beach. As there is nothing within walking distance, and the local village is a 10 minute scooter away, its a really relaxing atmosphere and very quiet. You have everything you need on site which is great. The breakfast has a buffet & a la carte options and it had a good variety of food. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to our family and friends for a relaxing beach getaway.

wifi can be spotty in the room and in the restaurant.

I love our room, very spacious, the food served at the restaurant, location, beautiful beach, clean swimming pool, very friendly staff, and a decent wifi connection. It's a very isolated location and away from the town which is very good for us as we like a quiet holiday. I thought we will need to visit other places to explore, but we will do it next time. At this time, we just stayed in the hotel the whole time and walk to the shore in the morning before breakfast and in the afternoon til the sun sets.

I love everything but the gym. Need to add more weights equipment. I they have a pair of adjustable weights dumbbell set which is very complicated to use and 2 pairs of light weights. We dont have option as there are not gym club outside the hotel. Also the lat machine cable needs replacement, the treadmill mat/rubber as well. I can't run because once you increase the speed it slips. Also, if they can get 1 adjustable workout bench would be nice too. I emphasized this one as gym is part of my daily activity. There are few guests with the same issue. They can upgrade their gym and i dont mind paying extra as add-on to access the gym facility.
