We loved our stay at Tirta Ayu hotel. The place is amazing as it is in the Water palace and enjoying the temple while it is closed is a privileged experience. The staff is very kind and helpful. We were welcomed with drinks then an afternoon tea with the amazing view on the temple. The room was clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished, with a good bed. There were many swimming pools, one small for the room and a large shared one, and we could also bathe in some of the temple bassins. the whole experience is really magical.

As the place is so beautiful, maybe we could expect the food to be a little improved.

The service was just as incredible as the location. I'm surprised that it is not fully booked all the time! A hidden gem of you ask me. What's very cool is that you can walk around the Tirta Gangga 24/7 so you have the place all to yourself, as well as the public and private pool!! (private pool only for guests)

Parking is across the street so we brought our luggage all the way from parking up to the hotel (mid Tirta Gangga). However, on the way out the staff helped us so I recommend walking in first without luggage. Then you can share the load together

Tirta Ayu is located in the grounds of the popular Tirta Gangga water temple giving special access after all the tourists have left. It is like it becomes your private pleasure garden. The restaurant looks over the water gardens and is the perfect location to enjoy a wonderful meal with prime views. A very special and unique location.

Great breakfast on the restaurant balcony overlooking the palace water gardens. Beautiful friendly helpful staff. Exceptional villa, feel like royalty for a night.

Uniquely situated in the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, we had the whole place to ourselves when it closed to the public. Breakfasts were great and we had our own swimming pool.

Courteous staff. They provided a free upgrade as well. Great location. East Bali attractions are at ease of access and with an hour's drive. The restaurant was also a pleasant experience.

In terms of the actual hotel (and restaurant) you can probably find better value for money, but staff is great and location absolutely unbeatable. Having the royal garden all to yourself after the tourist masses have left is very special.

Everything!!!! The location is absolutely awe-inspiring! To be able to have the gardens and the swimming pools to yourself when the garden closes for tourists are extremely special! The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The place is awesome as we can discover during the night without any tourists. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is kind of outside.

Everything is slightly old in the room, even shampoo and conditioner look old. Quite expensive comparing to hotels in Ubud

A wonderful location and a real privilege to stay overnight at the place . The room was cool, comfortable and traditional. The staff polite and considerate. The food in the restaurant was good and drinks large and delicious!
