lovely rooms and cleanliness, great to have a pool and somewhere to chill out

bit further out of town than expected was a far walk to the Main Street and a bit busy to rent bikes, but using grab and Gojek is ok

The breakfast was delicious, the staff was always helpful, very kind. Especially manager Asti. Asti is a brand of Guest House, you rarely meet such people. Thank you!

Wifi didn't work in the room. I couldn't work in silence. I would return or stay longer if they fix it.

The wifi was absolutely horrible. During the day (when the room was empty) it worked almost decently, but at night, when the room was full you could barely use it for messenger

The best place I've been to in my travels, I loved its esthetic, its cleanness and quietness, its staff, everything! Asti and her team keep everything organised, clean and ready for guests to enjoy, have everything available, and to be quiet and calm too. The location of the GuestHouse itself is super quiet but at a walking distance from downtown, the two swimming pools are an option if you don't feel like going out, the hot shower is really nice and breakfast changes every morning and it's amazing.

wifi was terrible

Location is excellent, room size was great, bedside lamp and plugs next to bed a plus (often this isn't the case in bali), hot water in shower, friendly and helpful staff, two different pool areas, lovely activities organised by the hostel, I was rather impressed.

Could have more counter space in the bathroom. The noise carries through the walls pretty loudly and the stairs are a bit noisy. But honestly the good far outweighs the bad.

I’m a walker and found the location great! A short distance to The Yoga Barn and walkable distance to places such as the Puri Lukisan Museum, Ubud Market, and a variety of delicious restaurants and cafes. The staff were amazing. Always available to answer questions and provide assistance when asked. The morning breakfast included coffee, tea, juice, fruit and eggs, or french toast…. Each morning a different dish was prepared. Perfect breakfast to start the day.

Breakfast was different every day and delicious. Staff are lovely. The place is beautiful and the dorm was pretty luxurious with curtains free towels, plenty of space, ensuite (2 toilets/2 showers). Very clean. We ended up extending

There’s two pools but unfortunately they are not exposed to the sun in the morning - should be good in the afternoon

First of all - it's Amazing team, managed by experienced manager - Asti! She will make sure that you are welcomed and happy staying at Askara. Every day, 24/7 her team are available, and keep great care of facilities. Every morning they will feed you at the breakfast 🥞 in their own restaurant. We were renting the big room with a balcony (27 sqm). There was enough space for two wltables for work from home. Everyday room cleaning will keep your room shiny! Location is very good, between Parq Ubud and city centre. You'll have store,massage spas, laundrys and restaurants all around you. You will not hear noise from the street. Also they have parking. And allmof that for the very very reasonable price.

At the rainy season pools [ most of the time ] are not available (repairing, or blooming), and wifi is good, but not suitable for conference calls due to instability of the signal. But you will almost will not feel that if you are not Zooming/Skyping alot.

this place is amazing book it without any doubt. breakfast is included too which is really very delicious. there is a common pool too for everyone. bunk beds are comfortable with curtains and the room is spacious and very quiet. staff is also very friendly

if you have a scooter then there is a limited parking space and the lane towards hostel is little narrow. also you have to walk a little from the centre to reach here. but overall it is very good place to stay
