The best staff ever !! Most helpful, humble and courteous staff who attended to our every request. Budi, Dudi, Ayu, Dayu, Komang, Niti and the housekeeping staff are an asset to Sativa villas and we look forward to meeting them again. The food is great to and good value for money. The location is excellent and very close to the city centre. The staff are happy to arrange taxis whenever you need them and also run free shuttle services to the city centre several times a day.

Sativa is large spacious and comfy. We stayed a total of 3 nights. We were upgraded to Orchid upon arrival. Chic decor, with lotsa storage space,huge bathroom with bathtub. Very private enclave. Stayed 2 nights here. Then we were subsequently moved to Jasmine,a double storey villa that also suited our family of 4. Pool depth is 1.6m throughout, perfect for a proper dip! Pool has lotsa dead leaves and could do with housekeeping. Be aware of lizards roaming around. But this is Bali! Sativa Villas has sincere polite staff. Special mention to Budi. Very helpful.

It’s a bit out of the way from the main Ubud but with free shuttle at 10.15, 2.15, 5.15pm. Took us like 8 min to go to town. The thing is the shuttle didn’t arrive on time and we kinda waited at Ubud palace for 45 min. It’s a once off but we noticed timing wasn’t quite adhered to. Think they outsource the shuttle to Grab drivers. The driver would ask if u need tours etc etc. to which we politely declined.

the Sativa Villas were absolutely incredible. 5 star luxury 10 minutes outside of Ubud. the best part of our stay was by far the staff, they were incredibly friendly and generous. the villa was cleaned daily and no request was too small. the staff were also happy for us to arrange for a temporary pool fence to be installed, for our 1 year old baby’s safety. the staff also provided mosquito coils and repellent which was greatly appreciated. I am a coeliac and require a strict gluten free diet. the staff were very accommodating of this, and I had no issues at all. also, the villas are across the road from Tulen restaurant, which has many delicious gluten free options also.

Rooms were spacious and quite clean. The optional paid services provided by the hotel like massage, yoga and the bbq dinner were all expertly handled and my whole family enjoyed them very much. Service was quick and came with lots of smiles and the included breakfast was wholesome and nutricious!

The second room in the 2 room villa can only be assessed by an external staircase. The location can be a bit inconvenient if you have no transport. The only eateries nearby are a couple of warungs. If you have a driver or othe transport then everything is a breeze to get to Ubud Central.

We stayed at Sativa Villas for 4 nights, and our experience was wonderful. The villa was wide, clean and new. Bed was comfy, many pillows. We had a private pool that was cleaned daily. Little beautiful garden as you walked in. The staff is so polite and friendly, always at your service; they arranged our transport to and from the airport, and also got us a motorbike so we wouldn’t have to walk to get one. They have a very convenient shuttle service to and from Ubud Palace, which you can book through Whatsapp. As at the moment there is no restaurant, they brought us breakfast every day to our villa. The food was good and they always called on the phone first to check if it was ok for them to come in.

The employees of the Sativa Villas were exceptionally helpful and kind. I would like to mention Dodhy, Budi and Komang but also all the others were great. They really do their best to help the guests in every way they can. We really enjoyed our stay and we would strongly recommend this structure if you plan to stay in Bali and in particular in Ubud. You can find many restaurants at walking distance in case you want to eat outside, but also the structure offers special dinners as well as a la carte lunches/dinners which we enjoyed a lot as well. The villas are very nice, well designed and super comfortable each one with its own private pool. We would love to come back one day.

There is nothing we did not like to be honest. The structure is at 3 km from Ubud city centre so not walking distance but they do offer a shuttle service multiple times a day. The positive side of the location is that it is away from Ubud centre which is always very busy and noisy.

beautiful and quiet - you can easily reach the town centre by taxi / complimentary shuttle or a 45 minute walk, so it is easy to enjoy Ubud’s main attractions if you wish to, yet enjoying the quiet and tranquil environs of Sativa, far from the crowds. The staff were utterly wonderful. So attentive, friendly and kind.

unavoidably there are insects around the property, as you’re surrounded by beautiful nature. so you need to keep doors closed at night to keep them out. But it certainly wasn’t a big issue. Just something to be aware of. Plus the staff provide insect repellents at the Villa if you wish to use it.

Our stay at Sativa was fantastic. Firstly, all the staff were lovely and very attentive to our needs during our stay. The villa itself was amazing, so spacious and everything you could want in a home away from home. The tree in the bathroom was an extra touch. We had a lovely breakfast brought to our room every morning, and they also helped us organise a pool fence for our son. Finally, the free shuttle service into Ubud was an easy and convenient way to get into the town for some exploration and dinners.

The Rooms were very spacious and the property is surrounded by lots of greenery and is very quite. A perfect place to relax. Hot & Cold water was available around the clock. In house food menu was very good and very delicious.

The quality and presentation of the food at Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner was excellent. The staff was very humble and caring and very forthcoming with suggestions to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Property is surrounded by rice fields and many small restaurants all around

We stayed at the Jasmine villa. The villa was spacious with the top floor overlooking the rice field. Though not the most picturesque. Villa came with the private pool, which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. It had free internet as well. The staff at the villa was really nice and helpful in accomodating our requests. Breakfast options were limited, but nothing to complain. The villa itself is located just a km away from the centre of Ubud with plenty of eateries and street shopping options.. Ubud itself is beautiful with loads of places to explore and roam around at ease. We loved staying at Sativa Villa and will recommend it. We had a great, relaxing time here.

Perhaps the frequency of the shuttle to Ubud centre can improve a little bit
