We stayed Doni House for 2 nights at Ubud. This is how we experienced. Our room was very spacious and face to swimming pool with jungle view. The view in the morning are very stunning and beautiful. You can heard the birds chipping from the jungle during morning. The toilet was very big space and come with bathtub. The hotel receiptionist are very friendly. They introduced us the best babi guling in ubud called Ajik Putra Babi Guling nearby the hotel with walking distance around 5 minutes.

The location are little bit far to city center. But since we are driving motorbike its acceptable for us.

The staff was great, the have a great driver (Momba) who is super friendly. They always have good tips for your trip and a great tourist offers. The breakfast was great, the bed comfortable and the pool beautifully.

Our room was a bungalow. The mosquito net wasn’t big enough for the bed, it was decoration not funcional. It was very dirty. The shower can be super hot so be carefully. The pool was small with only 4 hamacas so you have to be faster than the others rooms.

The accommodation is about 20min outside of Ubud center by scooter. It take a bit to get a Grab there but if you know that it’s totally fine. We loved our little hut that was rustic but had a authentic vibe. The pool is small but has a stunning view and became one of our favorite spots on the property. It’s a quite property with a jungley feel. We had an amazing stay!

Our hud was located right below the dining area and it’s was quite noisy if people were there (even if they only had a regular conversation). As we were still jet laged this was a bit exhausting in the morning.

Doni's guesthouse is located at a canyon/wild jungle area, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Ubud's City center. 20 meters away from beautiful and tourists-free rice fields. The guesthouse offers free city center shuttle (max 10 min ride) twice a day and scooter rental. Its a great place if you want to be close to the nature and catch up on sleep. Please note that "nature" includes flora and fauna, means you will meet some small, tiny insects (dont worry, they are more scared of you than you of them). The room was very clean, the matrasses are amazing! Aircondititoner worked perfectly (was freezing at 25°), the water pressure is 1000 times better than I had at 5☆ hotel bunkers in Seminyak. They also offerer free shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/hait dryer. On request an iron. There is a TV in the room (didnt use it though, found nature watching more exciting). The breakfast is great: you can choose between pancakes, black rice pudding, any kind of egg style, toast with jam, fresh juices, tea/coffee. There is also a nice infinity pool (perfect for Insta-victims) For $25/night/room you really can't complain. If you are scared of insects, go to Hilton or any other concrete boxes and enjoy the stay. The management (Gita and her team) is very friendly and helpful. Dont hesitate to ask the team about the surroundings, they will be more than happy to advice you about spots to visit. Internet speed is great, you can easily work from the "Jungle". I liked this place a lot and would recommend it to anyone who is not scared of flora and fauna (if you dont known what it means, google helps).

Please add some dark curtains for the lower bungalows, since the sun shines directly in the face early mornings ;))))

The bed was organized beautifully. Cupboards were big enough.The property has a view of mountain. Greeneries all around. It feels amazing during the morning hours to roam around here. Swimming pool with a good view. Floating breakfast available. The staffs were friendly.

Too many bugs around. Always have to keep the doors closed. The road to this property is a bit narrow. The toiletries provided were not that good. Staffs do not respond to messages on booking.com

The staff was amazing, helpful and just so kind. The pool with the view was incredible and we got our breakfast delivered to the room. The bed is super comfortable and the room is clean.

The only 2 things I want to mention is, that there is no restaurant around in walking distance, you def need a scooter, which you can get from the hotel. The price for the scooter is fair (60k per day) and the other thing is that the bathroom is open, so whenever you shower it gets very humid inside the bedroom as well, I also traveled with a friend, the other person always left the room when using the bathroom 😅

Breakfast offered many options, infinity pool with a nice jungle view. Staff was very polite and did the best job. They also offer free transfers to Ubud if you book 1 hour in advance. Room was small but cosy. Bed was comfortable and AC worked properly. Can book tours and massages from them. They also offer floating breakfast in the pool for an extra 100k.

Mosquito net was dirty, I almost burned myself with the shower water as it could easily be turned to boiling hot temperature, which could injure children easily. The shower slab on which you stand when showering is not in a very comfortable position. Room did not have the best sound isolation and you hear jungle sounds throughout the night. Also there was a water drainage running right beside the window which was very loud during rain and for two hours after the rain.

Perfect location, the pool and the whole place look amazing. The room and the bathroom (hot water!) were spacious, the breakfast is quite good. Loved the floating breakfast option. Little bit remote, no city noises, only the nature, but still close to everything. Quiet, calm and beautiful. Having lunch and dinner are also possible there. Very kind hosts.

No wifi in the room, only in public areas. Big delays (20-30 min extra) with the breakfast, which can be an issue if you are in a schedule. The view from the pool is not exactly the same anymore, there are roofs instead of palm trees on the left, but it's still quite nice.

Insects - dragonflies rushed into the room in the evening through the holes (I was given another room that was better because it was possible to close the doors) I think this situation is rare because I haven't read many reviews about it. I think the staff usually gets rid of them before the night time, but might have forgotten in my case. It was scary at first, but I was given a better room. The dragonflies were gone about 30 min later. The pool and the pool view was definitely worth it.

Staff are beautiful, location a bit out of town but it’s quite nice to be out of that hustle and bustle whilst still being able to reach town, plus free shuttle, the view is GORGEOUS I cannot believe the price I paid for that view - I stayed in the bungalow it was so cute

Literally nothing I couldn’t believe how great this accomodation was it totally exceeded my expectations and I have recommended to many friends
