This is one of my favorite resorts that I've ever stayed in. The location was gorgeous. You're close to Ubud center, but away enough that you don't hear any noise other than the sounds of the rainforest. The free breakfast was exceptional. I was able to order off the menu and every vegan thing I ordered was absolutely delicious. All of the food was amazing. I ate there a lot when I was too tired to go find something in town. The staff are the sweetest people ever. So accommodating and helpful and they made me the most beautiful surprise on my birthday. The free morning yoga classes is also amazing and not to be missed. And you'll have the most gorgeous view from either of the two yoga platforms. I also did a few massages at their spa and it was glorious. I can't wait to come back here. If you're considering booking Being Sattva, do it. You won't regret it. (I stayed in the pool suite and absolutely loved it.)

The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature and greenery. Is far away enough from the centre that is quiet and relaxing but close enough that you get there easily. The hotel provided free shuttles to and from the centre during the day. Wifi is free and reliable in every part of the hotel. The food is only vegetarian and vegan but they offer lots of variety and yummy food. We tried the morning yoga once and it was good and flexible to different levels of skill. The accommodation is clean and housekeeping is very attentive. The spa offers good massages, would recommend their signature one :) the staff is so, so lovely. Can't praise them enough. I celebrated my birthfay there and they went above and beyond to make it special - surprised me with a cake and sang happy birthday when I came back from dinner, offered complementary floating breakfast in the private pool and decorated the bedroom. We left the hotel at 3am to do the Mount Batour sunrise tour (you must do this!) and they organised a delicious breakfast box for us to take!!! Special thanks to Mona, Dewa and Soni for being so amazing.

BeingSattvaa is truly jungle heaven. We had one of the pool rooms, and I can't recommend it enough. You are surrounded by tropical loveliness and wake up to the sounds of the forest. The room is beautiful and the bathroom has an absolutely divine bathtub (ask them for bath salts!). It was a treat just spending time in the room, in the bath, or in the pool. It's like being immersed in nature while at the same time enjoying all the luxuries. The whole property is beautiful, green, and wonderfully maintained. The yoga shala is lovely and the instructors are fantastic. We loved the spa as well and had one of the best Balinese massages ever. Shuttle services into Ubud are every two hours and very convenient. The whole staff at BeingSattvaa is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time!

We were disappointed that BeingSattvaa was not more accommodating to vegans. They had some vegan menu items, but most of the items were vegetarian and could only be veganized by removing something like egg or cheese. In other words, they didn't have a vegan replacement. Other properties we stayed at that were not even vegetarian had a lot more vegan breakfast items as well, whereas BeingSattvaa only had vegan pancakes for the 4 days we were there. Very repetitive. At other places in Bali, we had more than one smoothie bowl option, tofu scrambles, avocado toast, corn fritters, and different kinds of porridge. I suggest to BeingSattvaa that you have more vegan options, since everyone including vegetarians can eat them and it's inclusive to most dietary needs!

The entire experience at BeingSattva was just perfect. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience. They looked after us so well for the entire trip. The facilities are in a stunning and peaceful location and are clean, spacious and comfortable. I cannot recommend BeingSattva and the lovely staff more highly. If you want a peaceful get away for relaxation this is the place for you. The hustle and bustle of Ubud is close by and plenty of sightseeing and activities on hand when you want.

We loved everything about our stay at BeingSattvaa - it truly exceeded our expectations. We felt such a sense of peace, wellbeing and connection with nature and here. The staff were all so genuine, kind and generous and always looking to make sure we were ok. We really enjoyed our conversations with them and felt very taken care of. The food was a highlight - the chefs are extremely talented - we could feel their care, attention to detail and passion in the food. The food was all very healthy and there were so many amazing choices. We struggled to pull ourselves away to eat anywhere else! Our room had a private pool which was an extra special treat - amazing to start each day with a cold plunge with an epic view, and then free Yoga. The Yoga studio also looked out onto the forest and had a real sense of peace and calm. The resort pool was also a beautiful place to relax, swim and read - or have our afternoon tea which was served daily with some cake on the side. We also had a couple of treatments at the Spa - the therapists were very professional and the rooms were beautiful. Overall we can't speak highly enough of BeingSattvaa - we came away feeling nourished, relaxed, healthy and inspired. We will definitely be back!

An extraordinary veggie resort nestled in the quiet area of Ubud. They provide healthy and good vegetarian and can customised to your diet. The staff are very helpful and always wear a warmly smile when you see them. They upgrade our room so that we can accommodate 1 extra pax in the room. They also provide transport to ubud centre to and fro. Although there are many cheap massage at ubud centre, we chose to have our massage at the resort as it is cleaner and we feel safer. They also gave me a surprise birthday wishes which i greatly appreciated. Thank you all the staff of Beingsattvva.

The bed a bit too soft but we still feel comfortable.

The staff was very attentive, professional and nice. They knew my disappointment and they tried their best to please me.

This hotel may have had its heyday, but it’s not now. It needs to be revamped to deserve the qualifier «luxury». The restaurant, like the rest, looks outdated with its ordinary table clothes with stains and artificial flowers in dull white vases. Vegetarian food can be creative and tasty. It is not the case here.

Very nice location, quiet and relax atmosphere. Excellent hospitality, always very friendly staff. Good food and we liked especially the vegan options. The vegan birthday cake was delicious. Well done!

Not much to mention. Property is well maintained, but getting older. AC in the room worked very well, at times it was even a little fresh. The climate is obviously very humid and the older AC is working very hard to dry the air

The location is amazing, a jungle paradise central to everything on the island. The staff were amazing and so so lovely, nothing was too much trouble and even made special arrangements for my daughter's birthday. The resort itself was magnificent, very clean and exceptional facilities, stunning rooms with loads of space and beds fit for queens, all set within its own tropical paradise of gardens and jungle canyons. We couldn't have found anywhere better.

We didn't dislike anything that we can bring to mind, the only thing I would warn visitors of the Teakwood house is that you will encounter (as I'm sure you would anywhere in Bali) some level of wildlife, you are in a rainforest after all! Mosquito nets were provided for guest comfort but you are going to encounter the odd insect or geko, not that any of the wildlife is bothered by you at all!

What a wonderful place to spend a holiday! BeingSattva is tucked away in the hills of Ubud amidst lush greenery. Villas are tastefully furnished with a big sized bathroom complete with bidet. Each villa comes with a huge balcony offering views of the calming surroundings, making it difficult to leave the estate. A shuttle service to the city centre at 2 hour intervals should you wish to go on a trip. They also arrange local tours if you're interested. Staff are super friendly, warm and helpful, s special shout out to Dewa, Mona and Soni among others. Putra in the kitchen makes delicious vegetarian dishes. Excellent food! There's a yoga hall big enough for 15-20 people. A small library in the dining area has Tintin, Asterix and other books for browsing. Didn't try the pool as it was cold, or the spa, maybe next time. Breakfast is included, and snacks and tea are served from 3-5 pm if I remember right. All in all a wonderful stay, highly recommend it!
