Kawi is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to, with fantastic landscape. We had very tasty breakfasts every day made by Wistana. It was excellent, what was also great - you can choose from so many dishes for breakfast. In this hotel you feel yourself very welcome, the personnel is always ready to help and everyone was so nice. The hotel is very beautiful with two pools, also we had a benefit of massage, it was cool! Wish to come back one day! Kawi Resort and Collina Restaurant went above and beyond their way in making you feel welcomed! Top-notch service and hospitality! The hotel resort itself is located in a middle of a rainforest wherein you can be one with nature. Embrace peace and serenity it offers. It is also complete with swimming pools and spa where we had the most relaxing and pleasant massage/spa experience. Kudos to Chef Wistana for serving delicious and authentic Indonesian Food, we loved it so mich we asked for the recipe and he openly discussed the cooking process without hesitation.

Comfortable, very nice and accomodating staff, great facilities, clean, and felt very Balinese. Quiet and relaxing.

The food was very average. The buffet breakfast didn't have many options and some of the food (ie. Fresh fruit) was sitting there for too long and got covered in ants. The food from the kitchen was not very good, re-heated, tasteless or not cooked all the way through. In our room there was a constant noise during the day from the pool as we were right underneath it.

The resort was so AMAZING that we considered to prolong our stay! Most helpful and friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. I take their service as a reference point when comparing it to other hotel experiences. Beautiful private villa with pool, nice outside shower with cute small geckos coming to check on us from time to time. A stay to remeber! Lovely traditional music during breakfast, peaceful environment, great for meditation and relaxing. Our driver Mr. Rai deserves compliments, happily took the time to stop quickly at a local fruit market as we wanted to buy some fruit, we then left with a kilo of my now favourite fruit mangosteen! A lovely discovery that we would have missed if not the patient, helpful and friendly driver introduced us to it. This small experience was such a nice add to the stay. The receptionist also drove us to the nearby shop once we figured out you cannot go on foot there due to no pavements on the road, big thank you for that! Once you are at the resort, you should stick to the resort area. Or you can drive out and around during a prepared daily trip of your choice or your custom made daily trip on the entire island! Just incredible nature, perfect for reading. Good massage available at the resort for a fair price. Most of all I loved the interior. No mosqitoes whatsoever. No bugs or beetles like other reviews mention. Of course it is not a sealed resort - we are in the middle of the jungle after all. Fully booked but it did not feel crowded at all. I hope I someday come back again :)

The food at the restaurant could have been better and lacked options for the a la carte breakfast. Small portions.

It is a lovely hotel in the middle of the jungle, far away from the center of Ubud. The views are amazing. We booked a private villa with a pool and it was very nice. The territory of the hotel is green and they have 2 pools, a restaurant and a swing in the water. The food was very good especially the breakfast on buffet. The staff is very polite and helpful. We spent 4 unforgettable days there . Thank you Kawi Resort.

It was the best hotel experience I have ever had in my life! The staff, the location, the food, the massages everything was truly magic… I would 1000 percent recommend this place ! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me! I already miss this place and the people who work there! Nothing but love!!

Loved the view and the room! It was big and spacey and I had a balcony with loads of privacy. I am a real foodie and the chef made my Balinese dream foods come true! I will be back for sure! Thank you so so so much for this perfect stay ! Highly appreciated and highly recommended!!

Room had a bit of a musty smell. So much incense burning around it was too strong. Only one shuttle per day in 10am and out 4pm of ubud.

This resort is stunning and has such a beautiful view! The staff are lovely and the pool area is so relaxing.

The location is further from Ubud centre but it’s okay because it’s closer to all the tourist activities.

I love the room! Its neat and clean bed sheets, big walking closet inside the bathroom, nice view while shower and bathtub, nice service and warm welcomes from all staffs. Got nice breakfast too, also the welcome drink and snacks was nice! Probably going to visit more! Thanks!

The food must be could be better. I was trying the carbonara, but it was too sweet for me. the dominance taste of its flavor make me a lil bit boring to eat, hihi. But happily, they have a cheap price for all food and beverages! I can't even believe! Food was 7/10.
