Great location, we walked into the centre with ease which is also not far from the Monkey Forest. Also not far from the markets and we also walked to the rice fields just out of town - great views. A short taxi ride will get you to the famous Rice Terrace with swings, zip lines and amazing views The property looks over a rice field where local children like to fly large kites. The property is down a small alleyway, one second your on a busy main road, take the alleyway towards the property and all the noise from the street disappears. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they helped us find a driver to explore the Rice Terrace area. The pool area is a great place to relax. In the morning breakfast is on offer, cheap, filling and delicious I would definitely recommend this property to anyone heading to Ubud & wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

The only down side, the pillows & the beds were fairly hard in our room. Shampoo and shower gel provided but no soap for hand washing

Kun Kun is a smallish guesthouse in a great quiet central location. The facilities pool, room and gardens were beautiful. The small team of dedicated staff at this guesthouse were exceptional! They worked tirelessly and endlessly from sun up till sun down to make our stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They were all warm and friendly and made us feel at home.Their dedication and love for this guesthouse and the guests who stay, was beyond expectations. Their efforts are to be congratulated. Nothing. We loved Kun Kun

The beautiful big and comfortable bed. The balcony, view, pool and gardens were beautiful. There was a bath. Breakfast had good Balinese coffee, fruit and egg options like omelet or a banana pancake. The staff were friendly. They would help if you asked for assistance. There was no hot water and they sorted this out, also brought in extra bath mats and an electric kettle. We liked hearing the staff chat and the music from the next door school. It’s good to see the Hindu Balinese culture continue.

There was no map in the room folder nor at reception. The rooms needed an electric kettle and cutlery. The open shower didn’t drain properly so we needed bathmats so we didn’t slip in the toilet area.

Gorgeous traditional balinese guest house, quiet location just off the main road within easy walk to shops and restaurants. The views are stunning over the pool, rooftops and green fields. The place was run seamlessly with serviced rooms, very clean, sparkling pool, filtered water and flowers placed to decorate the stairs, statues, pool etc. It was definitely better than I expected and excellent value for money. The rooms are older than some but everything worked well, bed was very comfortable & was great catching the breeze on the 3rd floor. It was a bonus that it was at the end of the lane so you didn't hear any scooters or people walking by which you often do at other places.

The only issue was my booking (prepaid on a major website) was initially lost and I arrived at midnight so I was a bit nervous they couldn't accommodate me, I was given a room thankfully but had to move the next day which was a little inconvenient.

Gorgeous traditional Balinese building, beautiful views and quiet but only steps from Hanoman st with great food options. This was my 2nd stay and I always enjoy it.

The only issue I had this trip which is why I have a 9/10 for comfort was that I think the sheets are polyester and I got a heat rash- I would wake up hot in the night as I’m used to cotton sheets- or possibly it could have been the strong washing powder or both. Would be great to have cotton sheets like I do at my other accom.

We have stayed in Kun Kun 2 times, and were extending our stay every time! This place is amazing! We had beautiful big room, with big balcony, everything was so cozy and clean. The pool was also amazing! Location is perfect, close to everything (monkey Forest under 10min walk, Ubud palace,lots of restaurant, shops, yoga places, everything on walking distance) but nice and quiet. All of the stuff are so kind, and helpful. Mr. Kun, the owner, is absolutely amazing, I have accidentally left something in the room and he did everything to contact me, and had even take time to sent me this thing to the other part of Bali! For our 2 months in Bali this is without a doubt our favorite accomodation, and I can only recommend it to anyone! We will be coming back for sure ❤️

Loved the art and the view from balcony looking out onto a rice terrace- we had one of the front rooms. Poop was great. Gardening was epic! Bed was comfy. Great, quiet location off the main road :)

The bathroom had stagnant water fill up in the corner that wouldn’t drain. They desperately need blackout curtains. Or thicker curtains at least. The hemp and see through ones are pretty but the light makes sleeping hard. A few things could use updating but we enjoyed the stay.

Amazing location in the centre - walking distance to pretty much everything in the centre of Ubud. I was stayin on the second floor - the view was spectacular - rice field and the temple. Very beautiful cozy room. Friendly staff and nice breakfasts - bowl of fruit, pancakes or eggs, coffee or tea. The pool area is also very cozy

The bathroom and shower area were very wet. The shower is located in the middle of the bathroom with the water running to the floor. Takes not less than 30-40 mins to wait until you can walk back to the bathroom. Not critical, just a little out-of-the-ordinary

Great location! Quite area but still close to all main things in Ubud. There are many shops and restaurants around. Big light room with rice fields view (I had a standard room). AC worked well. Breakfast was good for this price of accommodation (eggs, fruits, bread, coffee). Staff is super friendly. They helped me with a transfer during the night time and the driver was waiting for me for 1,5 hours And it is possible to pay by card (even Union Pay). Cleaning was also good, but u need to ask about it every time you need.
